A Look of sadness flashed in Raymond’s eyes thinking Lina was rejecting his advances because she still hadn’t accepted him yet. Even after their intimate moment, she still doesn’t want him to feel her down there, where he wanted his hands and mouth to be the most, among all the part of her body. Raymond walked towards the bed, drawing Lina into his arms as he lay down beside her. The best feeling he had ever had in ages was having Lina in his arms. “Sleep well my love.” Raymond said as he kissed her on her forehead, before he lay down, finally closing his tired eyes that hadn’t have enough rest for the past two weeks. As the couple were having a sweet and blissful night in each other’s arms, the Roberts family of three were thrown in chaos after Daniel’s visit.

Next morning.
Lina wakes up late as usual. She couldn’t help yawning out loud, her eyes still dazed with sleep. If it wasn’t the sun peeking into the gap of her tightly shut cotton, she wouldn’t have woken up by now.
She stood up and walked to the bathroom to go and relief herself. After her business, she walked towards the toilet counter to go wash her mouth, and rinse her face. As she looked at herself in the mirror, her brow was furrowed slightly as she noticed that it wasn’t the tank top she was putting on yesterday night that was on her body.
As she tried to think about all she did yesterday after making it home in the evening, a memory that seems not to be hers, and also hers made their way to her head. Lina’s eyes widened in shock as she remembered all that she and Raymond did in the living room yesterday.

She could still perceive his cologne in the air, which was evidence that Raymond was actually here, in her bed yesterday. And all their intimate moments were something that took place. “Fuck Lina, this wasn’t supposed to be your next line of action. You should get justice for your mother first, before thinking about any romantic feelings.” Lina muttered as she scolded herself.
Thinking that Raymond might be downstairs, she rushed out of her room, making her way downstairs to the living room, but no traces of Raymond were found. She checked every corner in the room, but Raymond was nowhere to be found.
As she made her way to the living room in low spirits after checking everywhere, her gaze darted to the couch where Raymond has almost had sex with her yesterday, her eyes couldn’t help reddening in embarrassment as tears welled up in her eyes at the thought that Raymond was among those men that would abandon a woman after having an intimate moment with them.
“Wait, wasn’t he drunk yesterday when he came here? Is it that he had forgotten everything about all that happen yesterday and left this morning, not minding to wake me up?” Lina laugh out loud at how high her expectations from Raymond were.
He already has someone he loves. He might be regretting all that happens between us that’s why he must have left earlier. Maybe he went to look for his first love and confess he had betrayed her. Lina’s tears that were shimmering in her eyes couldn’t help spilling out, as she broke down in tears. She doesn’t know why she finds Raymond leaving her alone after their night of intimacy painful.
Maybe it was because she had experienced something like that in the past, when she lost her virginity to a stranger she wasn’t able to find till now. “Get a grip of yourself Lina. You guys are just in a contract marriage, nothing real. All was just an act. All his promises were all fake!” Lina yelled as she slumped into a couch in the living room, her heart immersed in sorrow.
Having no one to speak to at the moment was also something painful. She doesn’t want to disturb Ria, since she knew it was because of her she was working round the clock to meet up with designs that had been booked earlier. As Lina was immersed in her sorrow, the shrill ring of her phone pierced through the quiet morning atmosphere.
She stood up and walked forward to go pick her phone. She saw that it was Ria that was calling her. Her mood lifted a little as she picked up her phone tapping on the pick up icon to answer the call. She made sure she get over her emotions so Ria would not detect any sadness from her tone.
“Ria, what’s up…” Lina was not opportune to finish her statement before Ria’s angered voice echoed through the phone. “Don’t tell me you are just waking up at this time of the day, you lazy sleepyhead. Looking at the wall clock in her office, Ria shook her head helplessly, not knowing what to do about Lina.
“I’m just waking up. What happened?” Lina asked, noticing the urgency in Ria’s voice.
Not wanting to banter with Lina anymore, Ria goes back to the reason why she called. “Lina, I think we have blamed your husband wrongly. He wasn’t who we painted him to be, I sent you a link already, or you can just search any social media platforms and see what I’m talking about.” After Ria said that, she hung up, not daring to wait for Lina’s response.
She was the one who had advised Lina not to listen to Raymond’s explanation about his scandal with Ashley. She even broke up with her boyfriend because of this. She couldn’t help blaming her hot temper for everything. She sighed deeply before going back to work as she thought of how she would beg Jason later for her mistakes, and continue blaming by herself unjustly.
After the call was hung up, Lina immediately opened the link Ria sent her. On seeing the trending hot news, that has been posted and shared millions of time on Instagram, Lina eyes widened in shock for a moment, before it was replaced with joy as she finally saw the truth behind Raymond’s trending news with Ashley.
“I’m sorry for blaming you wrongly Raymond.” Lina muttered to herself as she walked to the sofa. She sat down with her right leg crossed over her left one as she scrolled through social media, her heart leaping with joy at how Ashley, who was the queen of the entertainment industry wa turned into a laughing stock in a moment of three hours.
