As Lina’s head was working, so was Ria’s. But unfortunately, Mr. Vic seemed to sense something was wrong. He started dragging Lina out of the restroom.
“Let’s go, sweetheart,” Mr. Vic sneered, his grip on Lina’s wrist tightening. “We don’t want any unwanted heroes interrupting our little reunion, do we?”
Lina struggled, but Mr. Vic’s grasp was unyielding. Ria’s eyes locked onto Lina’s, a silent understanding passing between them.
As Mr. Vic dragged Lina towards the door, Ria made her move. With a swift motion, she grabbed a nearby fire extinguisher, its weight solid in her hands.
Without hesitation, Ria sprayed the extinguisher directly at Mr. Vic, creating a cloud of white foam.
“Run, Lina!” Ria screamed, the foam momentarily blinding Mr. Vic.
Lina didn’t need prompting. She wrenched her wrist free and sprinted back towards Ria. Mr. Vic roared in anger, wiping the foam from his face. His eyes blazed with fury as he charged towards Lina and Ria.
“You think a little trick like that will save you?” he snarled, his voice dripping with malice.
Lina and Ria backed away, their eyes darting around the restroom for an escape route.
“We have to get out of here, now!” Ria whispered urgently. But Mr. Vic was too quick. He pinned Lina against the wall, his hands closing around her throat as he hit her head against the wall repeatedly.
“You bitch,” he hits her head against the wall one more time, making Lina cry out in pain. “I told you not to act smart, you are going nowhere,” he growled.
Ria’s eyes widened in horror. She grabbed a nearby object, ready to strike, but Mr. Vic’s fat body released Lina making her fall weakly on the floor. She doesn’t have any strength to save herself. Mr. Vic walks towards Ria making her drop her weapon in fear. “What a cunning bitch.” Mr. Vic’s fat leg kicked her into the wall, his gaze burning.
Ria growned in pain, curling up into a ball, before she fainted. Seeing Ria, the troublemaker was dealt with, Mr. Vic walked up to Lina, dragging her up with her hair. Lina almost fainted in pain, but Mr. Vic slapped her hard across the face, making Lina’s eyes tear up, as she was dragged out of the bathroom.
Twenty minutes later, Ria woke up feeling dizzy from severe body pain. She tried recalling all that happened. After everything registered into her fucking head, she stood up with the help of the wall, still groaning in pain as she shouted, “Nooooooooooo,”
Looking around her and not seeing Lina, she shouted her name several times, but no answer. Not knowing what to do, she dashed out of the restroom, making her way towards the nearest elevator, as she pressed any number. All that was in her head was how to save Lina.
As the elevator opened, it took her to a floor in one of the private rooms of the bar. She rushed into the nearest private room, not caring about her appearance. All she cares about right now was to get help so she can rescue Lina.
As she rushed in, she saw that people were in there, having fun. She walked to the center of the room as she shouted; “someone please save my friend, she is in danger.”
Jayden, who was about to tease Nicholas, was shocked for a second, before rushing towards Ria. Seeing how disheveled she looked, he felt his blood boil. It was like the demon he buried in his heart was about to be awakened. “What happened? Jayden calmed down, drawing Ria into his embrace as he question her.
Ria was about to break free from the unexpected embrace, but hearing that familiar voice, Ria broke down as she clutched his shirt. “Jayden please, save my friend Lina, she had been kidnapped by a bad guy.” Ria cried out.
Raymond stood up instantly hearing that familiar name. “What did you say?” He walked towards Ria, his voice heavy with anger. When he saw someone rushing into their private room, he wasn’t surprised, because events like this always happened, as all kinds of women always wanted to hook up with him and his friends.
But when he saw jayden demeanor changing instantly, he was planning on watching a show. As he saw the woman that triggered his friend’s eagerness, he felt he had seen her somewhere before. He was trying to place her face on where he had seen her before, but he heard her mention Lina’s name, making it clicked instantly in his head on how he recognized the woman.
He remembered he had seen her picture on a file Lucas submitted to him months ago, which contains all Lina’s information. After knowing Ria was her best friend, and also one of the people Lina cares about in this world, he tried remembering her. Anyone important to Lina is also important to him.
“Where is she?” Raymond roared, his voice echoing in the private room, almost covering the sound of the soft music playing in the background.
Ria shivered, snuggling into jayden embrace cowardly. “I… I do… i don’t know. Ria stammered in fear as she burst into fresh tears. “We were in the bathroom when a man suddenly burst into the bathroom, holding us at knifepoint. Ria recounted the event, tears streaming down her face in large quantities.
“Enough Raymond, you see that she was shaken up by whatever happened, don’t make this more difficult for her.” Jayden was annoyed at Raymond’s behavior towards Rihanna.
“How dare you shout at me jayden. Did you know who Lina is? That’s my fucking wife for crying out loud.” Raymond roared, his eyes shimmering with anger as he ran his fingers into his hair in frustration.
Nicholas who had been watching the show, and also shocked by all that was happening, stood up amidst his female escort, walking towards his friends. Someone had to calm everyone down.
“It’s okay Raymond. All we need to be doing now is how to get Lina back, not arguing with each other.” He patted Raymond’s shoulder.
Nicholas gaze shifted to Ria, who was still buried in Jayden’s embrace, his eyes locked onto Ria’s. “Young lady, please tell us everything. Everything that happened earlier.”
Jayden’s hold on Ria tightened, offering comfort. As Ria recounted the events, Raymond’s face darkened. He brought out his phone from his pocket as he died Lucas, his assistant number.
“Find out all the details of everything that happened to Lina in heaven’s club tonight. She had been kidnapped. No stone must be left unturned.” After giving his instructions, he hung up the call.
