Inside Jason study.
The sound of items being slammed against the floor could be heard from all directions. Documents and files were scattered everywhere, still it didn’t appease Jason. Lina’s father fury.
The company had not been doing well for the past few years now. Even if the outside world doesn’t know, the staff and other big companies who can detect any changes in a company knew that his company, “Hybrid enterprise”, hasn’t been doing well for a few years now.
Even if he doesn’t want to admit it, since Lina’s mother who can be said to be the brain behind the enterprise died, the company has not been able to develop a successful business idea for more than a decade now. It was the business plan Lina’s mother had worked on when she was alive that was still in use in the company till now.
Since five years now, the company’s annual income has gone down a lot. There hasn’t been a good business proposal that has been come up with.
He had been hoping that his relationship with the Sunshine group “Daniel’s family company would help boost the worth and annual income of the company”. Still, he isn’t satisfied with the small changes he had been seeing so far.
Knowing that his deceased wife had plenty of business ideas and also some properties that can be sold and used for investing in the company, he planned on getting his hands on the legacy his deceased wife left for their daughter. Who would have thought that scheming girl wouldn’t follow the plan after all.
Instead of getting married to Daniel peacefully, she decided to call off the wedding, tarnishing the reputation of the family. She had also gone missing for the past month. He wasn’t able to find her location. It’s like she had disappeared from the surface of the earth. He called her number and also messaged her, but it’s like she had blocked him, because he can’t get through her at all.
Today, he received a call from his secretary informing him that many investors had been pulling out of their business recently. Their company is suffering from lack of investors. The only solution to the company now is to get his hand on his wife’s legacy, but getting it from his daughter is the problem.
Thinking about all of this, he couldn’t help but smash his study. He had been buckling all his emotions since all this while, he had to release everything.
Hearing the commotion upstairs, Rachael, Mira’s mother couldn’t help but walk upstairs to comfort her husband. The company problem has been giving all of them issues lately. The leak of Daniel and Mira’s affair also added to the company’s shortcomings.
“Get lost!” Jason shouted as he threw the flower vase in his hand at the person who opened the door without even looking towards the door. “Ahh! Rachael screamed in pain as one of the vase shards cut into her leg skin.
Hearing his wife’s voice, Jason couldn’t help but panic as he moved towards her. He had lost all his rationality as he destroyed everything in his study. As he saw the door of the study opening, he couldn’t help but think about his scheming daughter, that was why he threw the flower vase at the door. Who would have thought it’s his precious wife he injured instead.
“Rachael! Are you okay?” He asked as he squatted in front of her. “Ahh! Hubby, it’s hurt so much”, she whispered as she acted coquettishly placing her head on his chest as she sobbed.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know it’s you.” He hugged her as he rose up together with her. He wanted to lift her in his arms, but he didn’t have the strength, so Rachael had to limp to the living room.
One of the maids got him the first aid kit. He helped her dress her wound as she kept sobbing.
Frustrated with the whole situation, Jason roared at her to keep shut. With the expression of being shocked, Rachael sobbing stopped for a second before she hugged her husband. “But it hurts,” she whispered, feeling wrong.
Jason’s phone rang at that moment, he disentangled himself from her as he stood up to take his call. “Speak!” He commanded,
“We searched everywhere for the young Miss but we couldn’t find her”.
“You trash, why can’t you find that bitch, what did I pay you for? If you can’t give me the right location of that stupid girl before tomorrow morning, you are fired!” He shouted at the person at the other end of the call seething with anger.
“Hubby, what’s wrong, have you not gotten her location yet”. “If I had gotten her location, would I be in this situation?”
“Dad, mom, I’m back”. Mira shouted happily as she walked into the room with Daniel tailing behind her.
Mira’s happy tone changed when she saw the tension in the air. It’s like the situation at home isn’t looking favourable at all, she whispered to herself.
Daniel also noticed something was wrong. “It’s because of you everything isn’t going well for me, why did you seduce your sister’s boyfriend, if not all that girl’s inheritance would have been mine by now”, Jason shouted as he pointed his finger at Mira whose hand was entangled with Daniel’s.
She was stunned for a few seconds before she started weeping. “Dad! How could you say that to me? I didn’t seduce my sister’s boyfriend, it’s her that doesn’t know how to take care of Daniel, if not, he won’t be fascinated by me easily”.
“Just shut up already! If you can’t get Lina’s location for me before tomorrow morning, you will be sorry”. He shouted before storming out of the living room feeling frustrated. Mira was stunned because since her childhood, this is the first time her father has shouted at her, and it’s all that bitch fault.
After Jason left the room, Mira couldn’t help but look at her mom whose expression was twisted at this moment. She was so angry that she grinded her teeth. Who would have thought that little bitch is so cunning.
She had also asked someone to look at every movement of that girl for the past month, but she hasn’t received any news till now.
Daniel just sat down at the sofa looking at the family drama, after him and Mira got married which he thought would help reduce the situation of the company, who would have thought the netizens would be so angry that they got married and also not only bashed them online, some even go to the extent of going to the sunshine group and threw all sort of trash there.
Even him doesn’t know what to do. He started regretting his actions of cheating on Lina with Mira who wasn’t that useful to him, except for him sleeping with her.
His father had been threatening him to take away his CEO title from him if he doesn’t find a solution to all the mess caused by him soon.
“Mom, what should we do now? Since the day I’ve seen Lina at the marriage registry, I haven’t seen her again. When did she become so smart that even her location can’t be accessed?”
“What did you just say? You saw her at the registry and you can’t tell me? What was she doing there, have you found out about it?” Rachael asked her daughter as her mind drifted to something else.

At Raymond mansion,
Lina was dressing up for the night outing she planned with Ria without her knowing about the ruckus her disappearance had caused in her father’s place.
After applying final touches to her makeup, she looked at herself in the mirror looking satisfied with her dressing.
Putting on a mid thigh dress, she paired it with stilettos and a handbag as she made her way downstairs.
Ring! Ring! Her phone rang as she walked down the stairs. Without looking at the caller ID, she knew it was no one other than Ria.
“Hey babe, I’m almost there, wait for me at the club entrance.” Ria didn’t reply before she disconnected the call.
After the butler handed her the car key that had been prepared in advance, she thanked him before walking to the parking lot.
“Madam just left the house after a month of not going out”. The head butler typed on the iPad in his hand as he sent a message to his boss without Lina’s knowledge. He also took a photo of Lina secretly without her knowledge.
Thirty minutes later, Lina saw Ria waiting for her at the entrance of heaven club after parking the car.
“See who we have here,” Ria said as Lina walked up to her.
“Wow, babe you look hot in that gown, see what that imbecile left for a piece of trash. If I’m your ex-boyfriend, I wouldn’t mind graveling at your feet to get back together with a hot chick like you”, Ria jokes.
“It’s his loss not mine”, Lina laughed as she took hold of Ria’s hand as they strolled into the clubhouse.
“Yo, see who had just been dumped, but can’t wait to look for another big thigh to hug”.
A woman said as she blocked the entrance door of the club, not allowing Lina and her friend entry.
