The days following Kayla Reese’s exposure were nothing short of chaotic.
News outlets, social media platforms, and tabloids were flooded with updates about her arrest and the Reese family’s collapse.
#JusticeForRina and #KaylaReeseExposed trended for days, while old interviews, articles, and videos surfaced-showing how Rina had suffered for years because of Kayla’s actions.
Netizens Demanded Justice
In comment sections across social media, apologies to Rina Powers poured in.
“I feel so ashamed. I was one of the people who dragged her. I’m so sorry, Rina.”
“I can’t believe we turned against her for so long. This woman went through HELL.”
“We owe Rina an apology. She deserves the world.”
But netizens weren’t just apologizing-they were also going after the young actors who had lied against Rina three years ago.
“So now that Kayla is exposed, WHERE are the actors who lied about Rina?”
“I hope those ‘up-and-coming’ actors are ready to face consequences.”
“We need those fake witnesses to come out and confess NOW.”
One by one, these actors were dragged mercilessly online, their past statements being reposted and analyzed. Some deleted their accounts, while others issued vague apologies, claiming they had been “misled” by Kayla.
But no one was buying it.
The World wanted Rina Powers Back
With Kayla gone, the industry was desperate to work with Rina again.
Companies, brands, and business owners flooded her inbox with offers.
Fashion houses that had distanced themselves from her were now begging for collaborations.
Top directors and producers were reaching out, offering lead roles in major projects.
Her manager, George, barely had time to sleep. “Rina, we have six major brand deals waiting for confirmation, a Hollywood director wants to meet with you.”
Rina sat in the Villa, sipping tea, still processing the sudden shift.
For three years, she had been blacklisted, abandoned, and humiliated.
Now?
The world wanted her back.
But there was one thing missing-
Zayn.
Where Was Zayn Graham?
It had been weeks, and he still hadn’t shown up.
Rina’s phone remained silent, no messages, no calls-nothing.
“Why hasn’t he come back?”
George tried to reassure her. “Maybe he’s just dealing with the company. You know how powerful men like him operate.”
But Rina couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
Meanwhile… A Dark Plot Begins
Somewhere across the country, a man sat in his dimly lit study, his eyes fixed on his laptop screen.
He watched as Rina’s name dominated the headlines, her reputation fully restored.
His jaw clenched.
“Of course it was her. Only Rina could have pulled this off.”
He closed the laptop with a snap and leaned back in his chair, deep in thought.
Now that everything was resolved, his brother, Zayn, was going to marry Rina and inherit their father’s business.
He couldn’t let that happen.
His fingers tapped against the wooden desk.
If Zayn married Rina, his power would be solidified. The Graham family empire would be completely under his control.
He smirked.
It was time to use the one secret against him.
That noon, while Rina was busy going over some work emails, her phone buzzed with a text from an unknown number. She stared at it skeptical for a minute, but then decided to answer.
“Hi, I guess it’s time for me to say congratulations on your successful comeback.” Nathan’s text popped up on Rina’s screen.
She frowned on seeing the text and was going to block the number when another came in from the same sender.
‘I know what I’m about to tell you might seem strange and like propaganda but, if you can adhere to my advice you would be free.”
Now, Rina’s curiosity was piqued, even if she didn’t understand all what was being said she wanted to know.
*Who are you?*
*Someone who wants to free you from that bondage you call a marriage. Do you know that you are not the first person my brother would be getting married to?” Nathan texted again.
Rina frowned. Nathan! How did he get her number?
She texted back. *I don’t think your brother would appreciate such slander, especially from you. What do you intend to achieve from this? Money?” she fired at him, refusing to believe any ill stories about Zayn.
“I don’t know why everyone thinks I love money so much at the detriment of my conscience. I have watched him take the same pattern with every woman he comes across with but with you I just feel like if there is a way I can salvage the situation why don’t I go ahead then? I understand that it might be hard for you to comprehend or believe, which is quite a good thing…”
“But…” she completed
“That’s not who he is. I can show you proof.” Nathan offered, making her begin to have conflicting thoughts.
This could be a lie. But then again, with Zayn’s recent attitude, she couldn’t help but… Rina caught herself before her thoughts could dwindle. Zayn wouldn’t lie to her for any reason. Despite this being a contractual relationship, he had done nothing else but tell her the truth at every given time.
She made to block him, but just then, pictures began to buzz in her DM. Zayn and a woman stood across each other on an altar with rings in hand. Rina stared at it. Has she been fooled again?
Rina’s hands trembled as she gripped her phone.
The pictures of Zayn standing across from a woman at an altar were burned into her mind, her heart pounding as she tried to process what she was seeing.
Had she been fooled again?
Was this entire marriage a lie?
Before she could spiral any further, a familiar beep echoed through the house-the front door unlocking.
Her breath caught.
She smelled him before she saw him. That intoxicating scent of sandalwood and spice, something so uniquely Zayn.
And then, he was there.
Standing at the doorway, looking at her like she was the only thing in the world that mattered.
His navy blue suit hugged his tall frame perfectly, his dark hair slightly tousled as if he had been running his fingers through it for hours. His jaw was tense, his eyes sharp-but there was something undeniable in them.
Need. Longing. Possession.
Rina’s body reacted before her mind could catch up.
Her pulse quickened, her skin heating under his gaze.
She had missed him.
More than she could ever put into words.
But the moment she opened her mouth, all that came out was-
“Who is Viola Williams?”
Zayn went mute, saying nothing.
Rina hissed. “Leave my house. I Hate You!”
