So Pleased To Say That I’ve Found It!

Book:A Broken Ex Wife's Revenge Published:2025-2-8

Zayn had just gotten into his office, anger coursing through every part of him, when the door suddenly opened, and Jada strolled in like she owned the place. He had invited her himself to ask her certain questions about the picture she’d shown him a few days back because, at the end of the day, no matter how he thought about it or what he had seen, Zayn had a feeling there was more to it. And he hated being in the dark.
There was also the fact that William was right. There was a high chance that Jada had been lying, given her proven track record for that. It was no news that she hated Rina and the fact that she was getting married to Zayn. Anyone in her shoes would have been out and about, looking for ways to bring about an end to their union. Still, what was Rina doing there with Finn, even after the restraining order he had filed against him? Why hadn’t she called Zayn or reported to the police? She had them at her beck and call because of the person she was in the country, even away from his affluence.
That was what Zayn couldn’t piece together, no matter how hard he thought about it. It only led him to one junction the point Jada had forced him to stand at. Was Rina really leaving him to go back to her ex?
“Hey,” Jada called in a really sultry tone, and Zayn was snapped out of his thoughts. The skin of his forehead wrinkled when he saw her fully, with her darkened make-up, drawing more attention to her smoky eyes and the almost inexistent cloth Jada was wearing.
Zayn couldn’t even fathom it. It looked like a dress, but he wasn’t too sure, as it had too many damn ropes and barely even covered her ass. Her nipples were strained, the outline poking out through the dress, and her cleavage was left out.
It was strange to Zayn that the first thought that came to his head upon seeing her was the fact that he couldn’t ever bear it if Rina dressed that way. He would be furious at her and every single person that must have seen her that way. Zayn would have hunted them down and ensured he taught them a lesson on how to keep their filthy thoughts away from his woman. Then, he would have pulled Rina close to him, then flipped her around with her back bent to him on the table, and thought her a more intense lesson with her ass in the air.
Jada must have mistaken the look in Zayn’s eyes as the desire for her as she crossed the space slowly, her white heels clicking on the ground. She didn’t stop by the chairs on the other side of the desk but instead went straight to Zayn, smiling and regarding him from underneath her lashes. She batted them slowly at first, then fanned a hand across her breasts, drawing his attention there.
“I know you can’t resist me,” she drawled, dropping her purse on the table with a single soft thud. “Do you remember all those nights? I am certain that is what you are thinking of right now, how I took you slowly in the jacuzzi, with your hands roaming all over my flesh, exploring the body you were so obsessed with, a body I am certain you still want to see.”
Jada hooked a thumb on the thin strap of her dress and moved seductively, throwing her head back as she allowed the strap to slip to her shoulders, revealing one boob. “Your lips were on me all the time because you couldn’t have enough and didn’t want to stop. I am still that person, Zayn, maybe a little hotter this time. I can see the darkness in your eyes. You want me as much as I want you. Don’t fight it.”
Getting closer, she tugged at his deep-red tie and looked into his eyes, her breath fanning her face. Zayn was still stunned at her boldness, narrowing his eyes and wondering who exactly Jada thought he was because it definitely couldn’t be a sex addict, was it?
Slipping into action, he moved suddenly, wrapping one hand around both her hands and tugging her straight into his body. She slammed into his hard frame, and a whimper escaped her lips. Zayn thought she was sick to even respond to him that way, but he could smell her arousal, he could tell she was dripping wet. There was once a time when that would have made him go ahead with what she was offering, as there were no consequences in sight for him. But now, Zayn couldn’t even imagine himself going that route.
The door suddenly opened at that moment, and the person he had been thinking about walked in. Her head was down to the floor when the door closed behind her, but the moment she looked up, all the color seemed to wash away from her face. Her gasp echoed through the walls as the scene rocked her on her heels. Jada whipped her head back and saw Rina, her tentacles decidedly spreading wider.
“Oh, we have company,” she murmured in that low tone that Zayn was beginning to hate. “I hope she wouldn’t mind joining us because I definitely don’t.”
Zayn got up abruptly and pushed Jada off him. He was too upset to deal with Rina at that moment, so he focused all of his anger on Jada. She whimpered and pushed further away from him, realizing the darkness in his eyes wasn’t desire but fury. Still, Zayn didn’t stop approaching in a menacing manner until her back was slammed against the wall, and fear settled in her eyes.
“Please,” she breathed, her heart hammering against her chest.
“Why are you begging me, Jada? What are you pleading for?”
Jada opened her mouth to speak but snapped it shut immediately, knowing there was nothing to say.
“You just crossed the line, Jada, and I promise that it is going to be the last time you ever do that. And don’t think I don’t know what you tried to do to Rina back in Hong Kong. I was just bidding my time, waiting for the right moment to strike. And I am so pleased to say that I have found it.”
