In the room alone, I rushed to the bathroom and put on the shower. I let the water soak my dress, I don’t care if it would ruin it.
I was shaking.
I want to kill someone, I was thirsty and it felt like I haven’t drank water for a while.
I got out the shower, sat on the floor so I won’t soak the bed and saw the bottle water Alaric had brought that morning. With hesitation, I crawled to it, Picked it up and froze when I sensed someone in the room.
“One time you crawled to me like that and I nearly lost it” Brook said.
I was pissed.
Of course I perceived his scent when I came out the bathroom but I didn’t pay much attention.
“Leaving a feast thrown for you is rude”
“Kidnaping me and my few days old babies is too much rude” I replied instantly.
I got off the crawling position, sat with my legs stretched out and stared at my toes.
There was something different about them, they were looking very healthy and pale at the same time. I looked at my finger nails and gasped at how different they looked.
Some time back, my nails used to be short. I bite them a lot, they break over any slight pressure and they just don’t get as healthy as I hoped.
“I know. You look different too” Brook said.
I snubbed him, open the bottle water and began to drink from it. I almost drank it all in one sip.
“You have changed” Brook said with much interest bas he looked around my body “I was expecting you to be fat and have some blemish on giving birth but …”
The way he was looking at me felt like he was going to eat me up. I had to look at myself, to see why he was looking at me like I was a piece of rare meat.
“You know you are different and I… I… I am sorry I used lots of special blood on your body” he stopped.
Glaring at him, I growled.
I wanted to ripe him apart for all those experiment. For turning me to a guinea pig, for making me a complex creature that has no idea what she really was.
Well, I couldn’t.
I still need to deal with what Emma had done to me.
“I feel like you are looking pale and healthy at the same time” Brook gave me a soft smile and moved closer to me “Did you do something with your hair?”
I shook my head and moved away from him. All my aim was to ripe his heart of and see if he would grow another heart but I couldn’t. I was no monster and I will remain that way for my babies.
I thought about asking him about them. To tell him that I miss them and I love them so much but I didn’t.
“You know I was supposed to have you, Rain. And I want you”
I was silent.
I let him rant.
Day how he wants me but Kia wants my daughter. Kia even suggested that she should stay so that they would breed with her and make their empire.
Although I felt like I should kill him but I didn’t say anything. I have to behave of I want to see my kids.
While he talked more, I tried reaching Rex but I couldn’t. It was was like my head was covered, just empty.
“… And you can see your kids now, if you want..”
I was shocked.
I looked to find him at the door and I stood up immediately. The wet dress clinge to my body, making me regret my action as Brook would not take his eyes off my body.
He basically undressed me and eye-fvcked me.
Gosh! I will kill him.
Brook opened the door wider for me to face Alaric. He looked back at me confused and growled.
“After child birth, The Luna’s body couldn’t repair fast so she is under treated water medication” he explained.
Oh.
I had no idea I was sick. I had no idea that I still need to repair my body and that look on his face makes me want to call him a liar.
“See for yourself, Sir” he addressed Brook as Sir.
I almost laughed at how Brook tensed. He doesn’t like it, he want to be addressed as Alpha and he would never have it again. Axon took over, making him worst than an Omega.
His atrocities would never make any pack have faint in him. Unless they want their daughter’s Kidnapped, raped, and used as a breeding machine.
That reminds me, I wonder what happened to those girls.
“You want to see your kids, or not?” Brook half yelled.
I nodded and followed him.
Alaric didn’t protest, he just bowed to me, stepped aside and let us walk away.
Walking past halls and doors, I anticipated what would be the state of my kids. I want the healthy and I couldn’t help but shed tears when I imagined if they had hurt them.
Finally, we got to a door and my heart began to beat fast. I knew my babies are in there and I could feel them.
Immediately the door opened, I saw two ladies, taking care of my kids. I sniffed them when I walked pass them and realized that they are humans.
How?
How do Brook get to make humans work for him? Isn’t he scared that they would expose us? Rex was always conscious about this people, he knows what they would do.
Accordingly to him, be said they would take them to lab and make lots of Experiment on them.
Pfffff! That was where Brook learned that rubbish from.
I glared at him before going to have my kids. I took their tiny bodies in my arms, both of them.
“I am so sorry I let you sleep alone” I burst into tears.
They were fine, Chloe was sleeping while Chase had his eyes open. He was staring dead into my soul, judging why I had left them.
“I love you, Chase” I kissed his forehead.
Brook scoffed.
He walked closer and chuckled.
“Chase?”
“You have a problem with that?!” I fired at him.
He raised both hands, in surrender and walked back.
“I thought Rex would have a better name” he said as he looked at his wrist.
It was at that moment that I realized that he was wearing a watch.
“It’s 2pm and would soon be time for Lunch” Brook said as he looked at the girls.
They walked to me, took the babies and placed them back in their beds.
“I will send someone to bring a new outfit for you because you look like you would die in that”
I ignored his Insult.
I just walked out with him, head back to my room and opened the door. I was about walking in when Brook suddenly held my wrist.
“You are cold and pale” Brook said in a concerned tone.
I touched my face but I felt normal. It only problem I had was the dry throat and I really need to drink water.
“I just need water” I said as I removed my had from his grip.
Brook smiled and walked away.
I thought he would have done something worst and I was ready to fight him off.
Entering the room, I perceived Alaric. That dude really waited for me.
Quickly, he handed me a bottle.
The plastic was dark green and it surely doesn’t have water inside.
“That’s your treatment, Luna” Alaric moved closer and whispered “It’s blood, your body will break if you don’t take it”
I froze!
What the heck does he want me to do with it, drink it?
I looked at him in pure disgust. I wanted to tell him that I would not be caught dead with it.
“You are thirsty. Water can’t work.”
He knew!
