Chapter 192: How Many Sisters Do You Have?

Samuel saw that two of his men were seriously injured. He was stunned at first, then he stared at Elliott with a sinister smile. “You’ve got guts, injuring my two brothers.”
Elliott chewed his gum and completely ignored Samuel’s sarcastic tone.
Just then, Konnor spoke up, “Everyone, it seems you are not in the mood to spend money and have fun. Please, leave. It’s on me.”
“Mr. Stewart, we’ll settle scores with them another day.”
Cierra noticed another dozen security guards with shields appearing. Her pretty face changed a few times before she gave Samuel a look. “There will be time for this later.”
The Swain family was in the spotlight, and Houston’s identity needed to be kept secret. Cierra didn’t want things to get out of hand.
Samuel thought for a moment and realized that continuing the conflict wouldn’t benefit him. He had someone help his injured companions up and first looked at Konnor and Elliott, then finally stared coldly at Darnell with a sneer.
“Brat, you’re really something. Out of all these people here, I only respect you because you don’t know what’s good for you.”
He pointed at Darnell and added, “Let’s take this outside.”
It wasn’t convenient to fight inside the club, but once outside, Samuel was confident he could cripple Darnell for life.
“Tsk, who wants to go outside with you? I’m the holder of the supreme card here. I won’t go out with a low-level customer like you.”
Darnell took out some chips. “I heard I can eat and drink for free here. I’m planning to stay for ten days or half a month.”
Konnor and the others almost fell over.
Bang!
Samuel punched the railing in anger. He had never been so humiliated before and felt like exploding.
Darnell looked weak and could be crushed with one hand, but he just couldn’t deal with him. He was like a hedgehog curled up, leaving Samuel too frustrated to handle him.
If he didn’t vent tonight, he feared he would suffer internal injuries, so he abruptly turned to someone beside him and shouted,
“Signal the Axe!”
He decided to call for reinforcements from the Axe.
“Tonight, I’m taking down Vantage.”
Samuel’s voice was fierce. “Anyone who stands in my way will die!”
“You’re calling for reinforcements?”
Darnell chuckled, “Then I’ll call people too. Someone, call the police! Call the police!”
As soon as he said this, many people looked at him as if he was a fool. In most places of entertainment, conflicts rarely involved the police unless someone was about to die.
One either swallowed his pride or found a way to get revenge himself. Calling the police was considered the lowest and most disgraceful method, like kids fighting and calling their parents when they couldn’t win.
Samuel sneered, “Call the police? Too weak!”
As Lisa and Shawn showed disdainful expressions, Alexander chimed in, “Don’t embarrass Karlee.”
Even Karlee spoke up, “Darnell, there’s no need to call the police.”
The words “no need” showed her immense confidence.
“Calling the police is embarrassing? Fine, I won’t call them. I’ll have someone else call them so they can be embarrassed.”
Darnell laughed and slapped Houston on the head with a loud smack as Houston hit the table. “Brother, I hit you. Call the police and arrest me.”
Several Mangerians angrily approached Darnell but were unintentionally blocked by Elliott.
Houston raised his head, his forehead swollen. He was furious but unable to act out. He could only squeeze out a word. “No.”
Darnell slapped him again. “Call the police!”
Houston’s forehead hit the table again. “No…”
“Call the police!”
“No…”
Darnell, furious beyond measure, grabbed a plate used for steak and smashed it on Houston’s head with a loud noise. “Call the police!”
Samuel and Cierra shouted in unison: “Darnell!”
“Ouch!”
Houston’s head swelled up painfully with meat juice dripping down. Cierra and her group were all indignantly watching while Houston gritted his teeth and repeated one word, “No!”
Darnell looked troubled. “Brother, I’ve hit you three times. Why won’t you call the police?”
He grabbed a wine bottle and was about to smash it on Houston’s head.
Damn! If it were to hit him on the head, his head would split open!
Houston trembled and quickly shouted, “I’ll call! I’ll call!”
He felt like crying. Who would force someone else to call the police like this? The worst part was that making this call would ruin his reputation forever.
But if he didn’t call, he’d get his head smashed open… He wanted to beat Darnell up on the spot!
Karlee and her group looked sympathetically at this innocent Mangerian who suffered so much while just trying to eat steak in peace.
Cierra and Samuel wanted to say something but ultimately remained silent, keeping an intentional distance from Houston.
“Oh my, it’s lively tonight.”
Just as Houston was about to call the police, another group appeared in the hallway wearing uniforms led by Judith, who walked in confidently.
“The Swain family, the Axe, Mr. Chavez, and Mr. Dittman… Everyone is here.”
“Are you holding some kind of martial arts conference? If so, can I listen in on any exciting stories?”
Seeing Judith appear made Darnell spread his arms wide approaching her with tears in his eyes. “Captain Meech! They’re bullying me.”
Karlee angrily grabbed his ear. “Darnell, how dare you want to hug another woman in front of me? You’re my boyfriend!”
At that moment, she discreetly signaled, causing some shadowy figures nearby to retreat quietly.
Karlee pulled Darnell back beside her, wrapping an arm around him intimately, which made Alexander feel heartbroken.
Upon seeing Judith arrive with a large group of officers, everyone present-whether Cierra’s people or Samuel and Konnor’s-immediately stiffened.
They dispersed, their murderous intent fading as they moved to the sides. Konnor waved his hand, and dozens of security personnel quickly left, creating a bit more space in the lavish hall.
Clearly, they all recognized Judith and understood that she was not someone to be trifled with.
Houston put down his phone, looking at Judith with tears in his eyes, realizing for the first time just how endearing the police could be.
“Captain Meech, here for a routine inspection?”
Konnor chuckled. “Vantage is a legitimate establishment. We don’t harbor any filth. Feel free to check as you like.”
Cierra interjected nonchalantly, “Captain Meech is a busy person, handling major cases. She probably doesn’t have time to inspect establishments. She’s here to make arrests.”
“Well, it seems we haven’t done anything illegal. Captain Meech might leave disappointed this time,” Samuel added, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
“Captain Meech, you arrived just in time. Two of my brothers were injured. I want to file a report,” he continued.
Judith remained silent, casually moving forward and making the atmosphere tense again. When she reached Darnell, she let out a cold huff.
“Stop with the useless chatter. It’s wasting my time. I’m not here to inspect the place or to arrest anyone from the Swain family or the Axe. I’m here to apprehend him.”
She slapped Darnell on the shoulder. “Darnell, there’s an assault case that needs your cooperation.”
“Didn’t we just finish one?” Darnell exclaimed in surprise, retreating behind Karlee. “I’m not going! The food there is terrible.”
Judith’s expression hardened. “Enough with the nonsense. Come with me.”
“Officer, you need evidence to make an arrest,” Karlee said defiantly, standing in front of Judith with a proud expression. “Otherwise, you won’t lay a finger on my man!”
Judith paused for a moment, then fixed Darnell with a deadly gaze, her smile blooming like a flower.
“Darnell, just how many sisters do you have?”
