Nadine
These past few weeks have been the best of my life. Shawn knows Logan is his dad, and it’s been a smooth ride. He sticks to Logan’s side all day, and Logan, being the doting father, has no other obligation than to satisfy his son’s desires.
Our dates are magical, and we’ve been on so many more since then. Logan spoils me silly, making every moment feel special. During one of our outings, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I couldn’t care less about the label because I knew he wanted to woo me-that’s how he puts it.
Logan’s family is eager for us to bring Shawn around so he can get to know his father’s side. I see pure love in their eyes as they bask in Shawn’s presence.
Later, I find out that the blonde Logan pointed out at the restaurant with Chris is Lucas’s girlfriend. I feel a flush of embarrassment when I remember how I wanted to march up to her and stake my claim on Logan. Thank goodness I didn’t do that! I turn to Logan and playfully smack his chest.
“Ouch!” he cries, looking surprised. “What was that for?”
“For making me think Kelly is one of your love interests,” I say, stepping away from him.
“Oh my, Nadine, you should have seen your face that day!”
“Please don’t remind me,” I reply, covering my face in humiliation.
Weeks later, after he asks me to be his girlfriend, he proposes. It’s more magical than I ever expected. He makes sure my family is there because this time, he says, he wants to claim me in front of both families. And today, we are gathered for my wedding day.
I can’t think of anyone better to say “I do” to than Logan. He has been my constant support, my guiding light, shining brightly in my life.
I never knew how prominent Logan was until the engagement party. He is a freaking amazing billionaire with wealth spread across the globe, into transportation, and he owns malls worldwide.
I can’t get enough of this feeling. Logan brings a fresh spark to everything we have now. This time, it’s effortless, unlike before.
With each passing day, I find myself drawn closer to Logan, discovering new sides of his personality and deepening our bond. Our love continues to grow, filling our relationship with passion.
We’ve had a series of steamy nights before and after the engagement party, and I still can’t seem to get enough of him. My heart races every time he’s near.
Shawn’s happiness is palpable, and Rosa has been a tremendous help as I juggle my role as a social media manager and my work at the flower shop.
I have all the support I could ask for, with my own office and space, and business has been thriving.
What more could I want? My business is booming, and I feel a sense of freedom and peace I haven’t experienced in a long time. The constant fear of being haunted by my past troubles has lifted, allowing me to focus on building my career and enjoying life with Logan and Shawn.
Logan’s unwavering support and love continue to be my source of strength and motivation. Life feels like a beautiful journey filled with opportunities and blessings, and I am grateful for every step along the way.
It’s finally my wedding day, and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve patched things up with Nathalie; although we aren’t completely there yet, we’re taking it one step at a time.
My father, Gabriel, will walk me down the aisle, and my mom is thrilled. Jake seems aloof; I can tell he and Nathalie are having a rough patch in their marriage, but I notice Jake stealing glances at her while she remains oblivious.
I smile, remembering when I was in that position, hoping they realize they need to work things out.
My makeup is flawless, and I feel like a princess in my fairytale wedding gown. Everything is falling into place, and I can’t wait to say “I do” to the love of my life.
The gown is big and puffy, with a fitted top and a flowing skirt made of soft, light fabric. It’s adorned with lace, beads, and sequins that sparkle in the light. The bodice features delicate flowers, fancy stitching, and intricate beadwork that make it truly special.
The dress has a sweetheart neckline and a long train that flows behind me. I wear a shiny tiara, a beautiful veil, pearl earrings, and a matching necklace. It’s a magical dress that makes me feel like a princess on my special day.
As I walk down the aisle, everyone stands to welcome me. I take my time, glancing at each person present at the ceremony. A bright smile lights up my face-I’m over the moon about taking this next step with Logan.
I glance ahead and see Logan standing at the altar with Asher. They both look impeccably handsome as always. Logan wears a sleek tuxedo, his hair styled back, and his smile mirrors mine. Asher has a unique style.
Seeing Logan makes me want to jump into his arms right then and there. But just as the thought crosses my mind, I feel a thrill of awareness; he’s undeniably excited.
He stylishly places a hand in front of his trousers, trying to cover what I’ve noticed. I stick my tongue out at him as the priest stands to begin the ceremony.
“Dear beloved, we are gathered here to witness the holy matrimony between Nadine Jochebed Witte and Logan Jesse West. If anyone has a reason why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony, let them speak now or forever remain silent,” the priest announces.
As his voice echoes through the room, a hush falls over the guests. All eyes are on us as we stand hand in hand, exchanging glances filled with love and anticipation.
“Marriage is a sacred union, a joining of two souls in love and commitment. It is a bond that transcends time and space, a promise to cherish and support each other through all of life’s joys and challenges,” the priest continues.
He looks at me and then at Logan, asking, “Do you, Nadine Jochebed Witte, take Logan Jesse West to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?”
My voice is clear and unwavering as I reply, “I do.”
The priest then turns to Logan and asks, “And do you, Logan Jesse West, take Nadine Jochebed Witte to be your lawfully wedded wife, to love, honor, and cherish, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, as long as you both shall live?”
Logan’s gaze is filled with love as he answers, “I do.”
“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may seal your union with a kiss.”
I’m a nervous wreck, feeling shy with everyone watching as I prepare to kiss Logan. But unexpectedly, a surge of bravery takes over, and I exclaim, “Hell yes!”
The priest chuckles, bringing me back to reality as I lean in for the kiss.
I look at Logan and realize he’s gazing at me with lust, sending a thrill through me.
He has a broad smile on his face.
I feel beyond blessed to have him as my husband and as Shawn’s father.
Logan holds my hand as we walk out, hand in hand, with everyone standing and smiling. I greet familiar faces with a smile, feeling a sense of joy and gratitude in my heart.
It’s amazing how he became the man who swept me off my feet. I am truly grateful to God for a second chance at love.
