“Have you found the people that had done that shit?” Alpha Nelson was not in the office; he was calling the investigator man he sent to investigate what had earlier happened this morning in his estate.
“No sir! It looks pretty much so hard. But I’m doing my best; the men didn’t leave a trace of how I could find them so easily.” The man said to Alpha Nelson from the other line, “You’re very cute and calculative.
“What the hell are you saying! Get this done already! I’m sick and tired of all this bullshit! For crying out loud, what if their mission was to kill me or my wife?” Alpha Nelson said he was mostly worried because of Grace, and now she was really not in a good health condition.
“Sorry, sir! I’m going to do my best to find out who the culprit is, sir!” Before the man could even be done with what he was saying, Alpha Nelson had already ended the call.
Alpha Nelson sighed as he ended the call and then sat on his office chair roughly.
Grace was at the office with Sami, Wi, Alpha Nelson, and Cassandra.
They had all come to the office after the incident that happened at home. Alpha Nelson hadn’t informed the police yet; he just wanted to be sure who had sent the killing gangs.
*********
“Ahh! My head! “Pain!” Grace said to Casandra and touched her forehead; her face had a scowl.
“I damn told you! We both told you not to come to the office, but you insisted. Cassandra said and sighed.
Grace was sometimes really so annoying.
“I didn’t say I’m weak! I clearly stated you have a minor migraine.” Grace said and looked at her friend, who was throwing a daggering look at her.
“You just came back from the hospital! Remember that! You were supposed to be resting.”Cassandra protested.
“Noo! That was really scary,” Grace said and kept a digesting face.
“Are you scared? You seem scared.” Casandra observed and gave Grace a look.
She knew Grace was referring to what had happened earlier at Alpha Nelson’s mansion.
“I am not scared. Why will I be scared? I know Sophia is behind that.” Grace said, still holding her forehead.
“I have my investigator trying to fish out the damn person; sometimes, though, our guess may not be right, so we had to make sure we do some research before going into action.” Cassandra said, and Grace nodded in agreement.
Truly, she has so many enemies, and any one of them must have had hands in what happened earlier.
Was she even meant to be with Alpha Nelson? Because each time they settle their differences, there must be one problem or the other that would itself.
The telephone in front of Grace’s desk rang as they were both discussing.
The room went silent, and Grace picked up the call.
“Hello, Ma! The lady is here.” One of the staff, who was responsible for sending calls when Grace had a guess, said.
“Ohhh! I totally forgot; let her in.” Grace said and scratched her hair slightly.
“The lady that you want to give a special place in the office, right?” Cassandra asked when the call died off.
“Yes, love, I pray she will be cool.” Grace said and started typing on her laptop.
“You need a trusted person for this job, you know right?” Cassandra asked Grace.
“Yes, I know.” Grace said seriously, typing on her laptop.
She was supposed to be sharing a joint office with Alpha Nelson, but she had insisted she stay alone when Alpha Nelson had told her to come back earlier in the morning.
Though their offices were really not far from each other, they were opposite.
The lady Grace wanted to employ was someone she could trust to go handle and clean her office and some other things.
Meanwhile, after Cindy had come out from the men that Sophia had told to do so. Her all-sought-after things, she promised herself to make sure she acted ruthlessly to all her enemies.
She had made some investigations after she came and found out that Grace was in need of a personal assistant.
The job was not more of a personal assistant; it was more of a cleaner job.
Cindy had told herself she would take the job, and she had plans while she wanted to take this job.
She had gone to her own department while Victor and the so-called witch he brought to his home were enjoying themselves in his mansion.
She really didn’t mind that; she didn’t want Victor, not for herself; she just used him to pass time; that doesn’t mean she won’t exact revenge.
Alpha Nelson was the main target; she wants them to get married as husband and wife. But before this could happen at all, she had to eliminate Grace and Sophia.
“I hope she won’t be able to recognize me.” Cindy said to herself as she checked out her new look on the table.
She was completely different; she was looking a little bit poor, not really so rich.
She reduced the level of her dressing and everything, changed her hairstyle, and also made herself look like all those ladies that were desperately looking for a job.
Her face, she made it look a little bit **”””*
One couldn’t be able to identify her as Cindy, exactly how she couldn’t even recognize herself as she stared at herself in the mirror in front of her in her very cozy sitting room.
“Yeah! Time to go there.” Cindy said and picked up heading to Grace’s. office when the lady that had called Grace earlier and she had told Cindy to come in.
Cindy stood in front of Grace’s office door and knocked on the door with the heel as she exhaled in and out, trying to calm her racing heart.
Her mind revolved around so many negative possibilities. It was going to be so hard if she couldn’t get Grace to make Grace accept her as her assistant or whatever.
What if she got caught? She really needed to gather some information to bring Grace down; if that wasn’t enough, she wanted to monitor her movements, and killing her with a gun with her own hands was not also a bad idea.
The door flung open, and now Cindy walked in; she was going to face her two enemies, Cassandra and Grace.
She was planning to kill Grace? Eliminate her? But see, she had no idea some men were coming to Grace’s office to shoot her and everyone in the office dead.
Does that mean Cassandra, Grace, and Cindy were all going to be dead in a few minutes?
The men had already arrived at the company; they were already inside the company planning their next movement.
