“Bang!”
The door slammed shut, and Mrs. Chow hurriedly chased after her husband.
It wasn’t until Tilda saw Johnny’s parents get into the car that she finally breathed a sigh of relief and immediately let go of Johnny’s hand, ready to leave.
“Hey! Where are you going?”
“Home!”
Johnny didn’t understand. Since his parents left, then why did she want to leave too?
Seeing that she had made up her mind and that he was still undressed, he could only block the doorway to prevent Tilda from going out. “My parents won’t be coming back.”
“I’ve changed my mind. Forget about having sex three times. I want to leave now!”
Tilda had a premonition that her involvement with Johnny would only deepen! So before things got complicated, she needed to pull away from this unhealthy relationship without hesitation.
“What’s going on? At least wait for me to put on some clothes, and I’ll take you back, okay?”
“No need, I can take a cab myself.” Tilda didn’t even want to look at Johnny anymore.
“Then you’re not allowed to leave!”
In desperation, Tilda stomped on his foot hard!
“Ouch!” Johnny was caught off guard and winced in pain. “Are you crazy?”
Taking advantage of his momentary distraction, Tilda pushed him away and ran out.
Johnny instinctively wanted to chase after her, but as soon as he took a step forward, he remembered that he was only wearing a towel. He could only hurriedly retract his foot and curse under his breath.
“Damn it! I can’t believe this!”
It seemed he had to intercept her at her parents’ place!

When Rosalind returned to the ward, it was already dark outside.
But even so, Ulric didn’t turn on the lights.
She pushed open the door, and before she could say anything, she felt herself being pulled into warm arms by a force.
“Ulric…”
Rosalind didn’t even have a chance to finish her sentence before Ulric’s kisses came down densely.
For as long as she had been gone, Ulric seemed determined to punish her for it.
The kiss was so forceful that his strong hands gripped her head, forcing her to tilt it back and submit to his demands, leaving her no chance to escape.
“Mmm…”
Just when Rosalind felt like she was about to suffocate from the intensity of the kiss, Ulric finally released her lips, breathing heavily.
But releasing her lips didn’t mean he was done with her.
“Ulric, your wound! Uh-”
He surged forward again, nearly causing Rosalind to bite his tongue!
“Why are you avoiding me?”
Ulric’s voice was hoarse, carrying a gravelly texture that hinted at his barely contained frustration.
“I’m not… Ouch! No, don’t go deeper…”
If Rosalind said anything he didn’t like, Ulric would deliberately push harder.
She wanted to struggle, but being pulled into the vortex made escape impossible.
Especially with his chest injured, she didn’t dare fight back too hard, worried she might hurt Ulric.
“Why are you avoiding me?”
The same question echoed again.
“I swear I’m not! I just went out for a bit!”
“Then promise me you’ll register our marriage when you return home.” Even in the darkness, Ulric’s eyes could still pinpoint her evasive gaze.
“I already said, we can talk about that after I get back! Ah-”
Rosalind instantly clutched Ulric’s firm arm tightly, her nails digging in deep.
He was in no mood to be gentle. It felt as if he was deliberately tormenting her! His grip showed no mercy.
“I want you to agree right now.”
Ulric pressed on, forcing her to confront the issue.
Beads of sweat began to form on Rosalind’s forehead, primarily from the discomfort…
