This neighborhood, actually, was not considered rundown. It was quite expensive when it was bought, but the houses were just a bit older.
But there shouldn’t be anyone living here who could afford such million-dollar sports cars.
Driven by curiosity, Tilda glanced over in that direction a few more times and noticed that there seemed to be someone on top, a figure… somewhat familiar!
As she got closer, she realized that it was… Johnny!
What was he doing here?
Tilda was so shocked that she took a few steps back, almost stumbling!
Luckily, the person inside the car was sleeping with his eyes closed, hands wrapped around their clothes, curled up into a ball. She had no idea when he arrived or how he ended up sleeping in the car!
Why wouldn’t this man just go away?
Tilda pursed her lips and quickly tried to slip away.
Unfortunately, she ran into her neighbor who had just come back from grocery shopping downstairs. The neighbor waved and greeted her, “Tilda! You’re back!”

The woman’s voice was so loud, as if she was afraid that the person inside the car couldn’t hear it.
Tilda didn’t dare to look back at Johnny to see if he had woken up. She could only wave at her neighbor and take a step forward.
“Tilda!”

Fine! He was awake.
She stiffened her back and slowly turned around, wearing a mournful expression. “Mr. Chow, you’re not here looking for me, are you?”
“Of course, I am,” Johnny replied, just waking up, his eyes still slightly bleary. If you got close enough, you might even see the remnants of sleep in his eyes, but that didn’t take away from his good looks.
In this old neighborhood, people were coming and going, and many turned their heads to glance at Johnny, as if a celebrity had just arrived.
“What do you want?”
Tilda pulled him aside, trying to keep his presence from becoming too conspicuous. If her parents caught wind of this, explaining it would be impossible.
“Of course, I have something to say.” Johnny looked down at her hand grasping his shirt, feeling quite pleased with himself.
“Then just say it. What do you want?”
“I want you to take responsibility,” Johnny said, crossing his arms and watching her. “I believe that as adults, we should own up to our actions.”
“Are you really planning to ask me for the money for the return ticket?”
She couldn’t believe it!
“How did we get to tickets?” Johnny was the one taken aback now. “When you asked me in front of the hotel if I wanted to sleep with you, I took that as you were interested in me and wanted to be my girlfriend. That’s why I agreed.”
“That’s ridiculous! I never said that!”
All she asked was whether he wanted to have sex.
“You didn’t say it, but I’m a traditional guy. I only sleep with my girlfriend. Since you slept with me, you can only be my girlfriend.”
Tilda rolled her eyes dramatically at him!
If it weren’t for the fear of being overheard, she would have jumped up and scolded him for being shameless.
“Are you that desperate for a girlfriend, or what?” Tilda thought for a moment, narrowing her eyes and pointing at him. “Ah! I get it! You want revenge, don’t you? You think I insulted you, and now you want to get back at me!”
Johnny shrugged. “I’m not. I just came to make you take responsibility.”
“Stop talking nonsense! Just leave! I need to go home!”
She didn’t have time to bicker with him!
“Home? Great! I’ll go with you, and maybe I’ll meet your parents.”
Tilda froze, glaring at him. “Are you crazy?”
Johnny nodded. “Yep, I’m crazy. You said you’d accompany me to the hospital.”
“I never said that!”
Ignoring her protests, Johnny took hold of her hand and started walking toward her parents’ house.
Tilda struggled to break free, panic rising in her chest. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“You said that if your mom found out you were being ‘not-so-innocent’ friends with me, she’d kill you. I want to see that happen.”
