Originally, Tilda thought that once this handsome guy woke up, she could catch a glimpse of his true appearance. But for the entire ten hours, he had slept!
Later on, Tilda even began to suspect that he had fainted, especially since he had an injury on his head.
When the plane landed at Malmo Airport, the man finally woke up, rubbed his sleepy eyes, and started making a phone call.
Tilda had no interest in eavesdropping on someone else’s conversation. She lowered her head and began to pack her things in preparation for disembarking.
But in a daze, she seemed to hear Rosalind’s name!
“Rosalind is here too? Alright… I understand. I’ll come directly. Hasn’t Ulric woken up? Uncle Caesar, let’s talk when I arrive.”
Tilda stared at him in astonishment, and her strange gaze caught his attention.
The two of them looked at each other. After a few seconds, Tilda spoke up, “Do you know… Rosalind?”
The man looked her up and down, squinting his dark eyes. “You’re Rosalind’s best friend?”
“Yes! I’m Tilda!”
“I knew it.” Dropping that statement, the man was about to leave.
Tilda grabbed him and furrowed her brows. “You haven’t said who you are!”
He frowned and glanced at Tilda’s hand pulling on his clothes. “What are you doing, pulling and tugging in public?”
Tilda let go of her hand and stared at him. “Can you tell me now?”
“I can say it, but you won’t know who I am! I’m Johnny Chow. Have you ever heard of me?”
“Huh?” As soon as Tilda heard this name, she immediately recognized it. “You’re Sirena’s fanboy, right? The one who tried to talk to Rosalind and let her break up with Ulric!”
Johnny became angry upon hearing this. “Who are you calling a fanboy?!”
“I’m talking about you! Aren’t you? Otherwise, why would you try to sabotage their relationship? And you don’t even dare to admit you’re Sirena’s fanboy!”
Although Tilda had never met Johnny in person, she had heard plenty about him!
Especially the incident when Ulric had a car accident and Johnny caused trouble for Rosalind at the hospital. Tilda remembered it well!
What did he say back then?
Oh right! He said that a woman like Rosalind wasn’t worthy of Sirena personally taking action!
Tilda vividly remembered how Rosalind had a swollen cheek when she came over asking if she could stay for a few days. At first, Rosalind tried to deceive her by saying she had injured her face on her own, but who would accidentally hit their face? It wasn’t until Tilda pressed her for a long time that Rosalind finally told her the truth.
Now that she had encountered the main culprit, Tilda was determined to seek justice for her best friend!
Johnny’s face turned awkward as he realized he was in the wrong, so he could only mutter under his breath before quickly grabbing his luggage and leaving.
Having just woken up from the hospital, he had intended to contact Ulric immediately to warn him about Sirena. However, he quickly learned that Ulric had already been stabbed by Sirena and had narrowly escaped death!
Ignoring his own injuries, Johnny hastily packed his things and headed to Sweden, only to unfortunately run into Tilda.
Thinking back on the things he had done in the past, Johnny felt guilty and figured it was best to make a quick exit.
…
Tilda arrived at the private hospital where Ulric was staying, but she was blocked at the entrance.
“Let me in! I’m Ulric’s… friend!”
For a moment, Tilda struggled to define her relationship with Ulric and could only manage to squeeze out the word “friend”.
“Sorry, ma’am, you can’t go in.”
“Hey, wait…”
Just as Tilda was feeling frustrated about how to get inside, she turned around and noticed a car approaching. Squinting, she realized it was her sworn enemy.
The person in that car was Johnny.
