Chapter 446: Finally, You Are in My Hands

Book:Wrong Invitation For My Mr Right Published:2025-2-7

At this moment, Rosalind realized that the target of these people was not Tilda or Floyd, but herself.
Her phone kept ringing; it was Ulric calling.
She didn’t have the habit of silencing her phone, so the driver in front also heard it.
Glancing at the caller ID, he sneered, “Give me the phone, now! Don’t play any tricks, or you’ll see if you can call for help faster than my men can send your daughter to her death!”
“I’ll give it to you.” Rosalind hung up Ulric’s call and then turned off the phone before handing it to the driver.
Seeing her compliance, the driver gave her a satisfied look. “So pretty, no wonder you’re such a thorn in someone’s side!”
The phrase “thorn in someone’s side” made Rosalind quickly identify who had orchestrated her kidnapping.
After all, besides Sirena and Ulric’s parents, no one else would see her as a threat!
It seemed they couldn’t wait to act against her. The issue with the child couldn’t be hidden any longer! This was why Rosalind had been desperately avoiding Ulric and the Walters family, hiding and dodging them.
Now she was finally targeted.
Rosalind clenched her fists, forcing herself to stay calm. The only thing she could think about now was self-rescue; panic would do no good.
“What does Sirena want to do to us?”
She directly mentioned the person behind it all, catching the driver off guard. He glanced at her through the rearview mirror.
“We’re not her people!”
“Then you must be from the Walters family. You’ve kidnapped Ulric’s daughter. Have you thought about the consequences if he finds out? How will he deal with you?”
The driver laughed upon hearing this.
“Are you threatening me? Save your breath. I’m just doing a job! Once I deliver you to the designated place, it’s no longer my concern. Whatever happens to you inside is none of my business. Good luck.”
Rosalind watched as the car drove further into a remote area. She could jump out of the car herself and at most get injured, but her child was still in their hands!
These people had killed her mother years ago; who knew what they might do to Tilda and Floyd now?
She had to go!

The car arrived at a very remote place. There seemed to be a small river nearby because Rosalind heard the sound of flowing water after getting out of the car!
The driver was so sure that Rosalind wouldn’t run that he didn’t bother restraining her. After getting out leisurely, he took out a black bag and swiftly put it over Rosalind’s head.
“Behave yourself; you’ll see your daughter soon.”
After that, Rosalind felt herself being led forward for a long time along what seemed to be a riverside because she could always hear men’s footsteps and the sound of water flowing.
She didn’t know how far they walked before they finally reached their destination.
A man opened a door that must have been rusty because it made an ear-piercing sound when it moved.
“This is Rosalind.”
“Alright, you can go.”
After these two sentences between two men, Rosalind felt herself being handed over to someone else who continued leading her inside.
“Where is my child? I want to see her!”
Rosalind couldn’t see anything, and her anxiety was rising rapidly, but all she could think about was her daughter’s safety.
After asking, she first heard the sound of high heels approaching from afar. Then she felt a stick strike hard on her knee, sending sharp pain throughout her body and making her collapse uncontrollably!
“Ah-”
“Rosalind, finally you’re in my hands!”
