“Do you think you can hide your intentions?”
Before the connection with Rosalind, Ulric wouldn’t have even noticed Eastsun Corporation! Now, suddenly acquiring it is as clear as day.
“What evidence do you have to prove it?”

Ulric and Lion stood facing each other. Ulric was slightly taller, so he looked down at Lion.
“If you have the time, you’d better acquire more shares to maintain your position as the largest shareholder.”
“Of course I will!”
Ulric smiled. “I heard Mr. Lion wants to buy shares at twice my offer.”
Lion straightened his back and sneered, “That’s right, I did say that! And I’m buying directly with cash flow.”
Ulric nodded. His tall and slender figure stood opposite Lion, making it seem as if he were a CEO listening to a subordinate’s report, with Lion being that subordinate.
“Not bad, it’s indeed attractive! Then I wish you success.”
After saying this, Ulric started walking towards his car.
Lion felt he hadn’t threatened him at all and became even angrier! He simply blocked Ulric’s car.
“Ulric, I didn’t expect you to be such a cowardly man! You’ve done it but won’t admit you want to rekindle things with Rosalind!”
“Did I deny it?”
Lion was stunned.
“Everyone close to me knows I only love Rosalind. If you don’t know that, it’s your problem.”
“Ulric, don’t think that by acquiring Eastsun Corporation, you’ll get Rosalind! She’s divorced you; what else is there to say?”
Ulric shrugged, pointed at Lion, then at his own car. “Lion, good dogs don’t block the way.”
“You-”
Lion couldn’t stop him from getting in the car. With a press of the gas pedal, Ulric sped away, disappearing from Lion’s sight within minutes.
“Damn it!” Lion cursed in frustration as his phone rang.
He glanced down; it was his secretary calling.
“Mr. Lion, the acquisition funds you’ve provided are no longer sufficient!”
“How much have we acquired now?” He only needed to acquire over 17% of the shares to hold 51% of Eastsun Corporation and remain the largest shareholder.
But the secretary hesitated for a long time before speaking.
“We’ve… we’ve only acquired 2%…”
“What?! Nearly eighty million dollars on my books only bought 2%, and now it’s not enough?!”
“Yes… You said to acquire shares at double W Group’s offer. With that calculation, you’ll need at least another billion dollars.”
Lion hadn’t expected Ulric to have so much money!
And he’d already used up his last savings, yet Ulric seemed unaffected.
“Stop acquiring for now.”
Lion closed his eyes. After a fierce internal struggle, he finally had to admit he couldn’t beat Ulric.
The secretary knew the reason behind this and cautiously reminded him, “Should we sell the shares we’ve already acquired? W Group also wants those under your name.”
“No, I won’t sell!” Lion gritted his teeth, squeezing out each word. “Ulric wants to use the company to get close to Rosalind; I can’t let him succeed! Even if he becomes Eastsun Corporation’s largest shareholder, I won’t leave Eastsun Corporation or give up pursuing Rosalind! I just want to disgust him and make him watch as Rosalind gets close to me!”
