Chapter 413: Crush Them All!

Book:Back To Thrones Published:2025-2-7

“What’s wrong? Are you seriously asking me that? Do you even realize the kind of mess you’ve dragged me into?!”
Owen looked completely innocent. “Bruno, but you said you could handle anyone! How was I supposed to know this guy was so insanely powerful? If I’d known, I wouldn’t have dared mess with him!”
As they’re talking, a thug lurking nearby Kayden suddenly caught a golden opportunity!
Kayden’s overwhelming strength made a direct confrontation impossible. But if he shifted his target, if he struck someone Kayden cared about, the tables could turn.
The thug’s eyes lit up with malice as his gaze locked onto the girl by Kayden’s side. A sly grin spread across his face. That’s it.
Finally, his moment had come.
Kayden might be unstoppable, but this woman? She’d be no match for him.
“Let’s see how tough you are when I take her down. Let’s see what happens when I destroy what you’re trying so desperately to protect!” the thug thought.
And he wasn’t planning just to harm her. No, this was an all-out attack, meant to kill!
He raised his machete high, and its cold steel glinted ominously under the light. With a sharp breath, he swung the blade down with deadly intent, aiming squarely for Felicity’s head. But before the blade could make contact, a fist roared through the air with the speed and force of a missile. Bang! The machete flew from the thug’s grasp and clattered uselessly to the ground. The thug himself was sent hurtling backward, his body crashing onto the ground.
A cloud of dust exploded on impact. The very ground seemed to quake as if recoiling from the violence!
His head hit the ground with a sickening thud!
An instant later, blood sprayed from his mouth like a crimson fountain. His eyes bulged, wide with terror and disbelief, as though he couldn’t process what had just happened. And then, with one final, shuddering gasp, his body went still.
He’s dead on the spot.
Kayden had struck a killing blow!
But no one could blame him. It was the thug who had sealed his own fate.
Kayden hadn’t intended to take a life tonight. But when someone had the audacity to try and kill the woman he was determined to protect, mercy no longer had a place in his heart.
Though Felicity was little more than a stranger, she wasn’t just anyone. She was an Innate Spiritual Body, a rare and extraordinary existence with untold potential. From the moment Kayden met her, he felt an inexplicable connection as if fate itself had tied them together. That feeling only strengthened his resolve to shield her from any harm.
So, when someone dared to aim for her life, he would protect her, no matter the cost. And anyone who crossed that line would face his full, unstoppable wrath.
This wasn’t out of love for Felicity. It was something else entirely. His instinct to protect her was more like shielding a younger sister.
But this feeling was different from the one he had for Georgia!
With a resounding stomp, Kayden’s foot hit the ground, and the earth beneath him fractured like glass under a hammer. His teeth clenched, and without hesitation, he unleashed a storm of punches.
In a matter of moments, another wave of thugs began to drop like dominoes.
Fear rippled through the crowd like a stone dropped in still water. Their initial bravado wavered. Some hesitated and began to shuffle backward. A few turned tail, breaking into a desperate retreat.
Faced with such brutal violence, even the fiercest fighters couldn’t hold back their terror.
Keeping fighting was no different from seeking suicide.
But escape? From Kayden?
Impossible.
Kayden moved like a whirlwind amidst the crowd. His fists were not merely striking, smashing through his enemies with unrelenting speed and ferocity.
His every punch landed with the force of steel and was precise and formidable.
When his final punch connected with the last standing man, the battlefield fell silent.
Six hundred men lay strewn across the ground like broken puppets.
None of them could still stand upright.
The air filled with anguished cries. Those who had been so full of confidence now writhed in pain. They clutched shattered arms, twisted legs, or bruised heads.
In an instant, the area was filled with wails of despair and plunged into utter chaos!
The arrogance and smug of these thugs, after just a few minutes, all crumbled.
To Kayden, not even tens of thousands of foreign soldiers would pose a challenge, let alone these six hundred weaklings,
They were nothing more than trash and cowards.
Standing amidst the chaos, Kayden looked like a king on a battlefield, scanning his fallen foes.
It’s a clean sweep. It was an unrelenting, overwhelming clean sweep!
Six hundred men, all felled by Kayden alone.
And still, his expression remained calm, unbothered, fearless. Not a single drop of sweat adorned his face.
Just like he had said, taking down these six hundred men wasn’t enough to count as a warm-up for him.
For someone accustomed to death, someone used to clash with savage enemies day in and day out…
Six hundred thugs amounted to absolutely nothing!
If word of this got out, it wouldn’t be a badge of honor for him to win this fight. On the contrary, it would lower his worth.
Thus, Kayden stood tall, exuding his usual air of pride as well as dominance as if he ruled over the entire world.
The relentless cries and moans confused Felicity. This wasn’t right. Shouldn’t these thugs be cheering? Why had their victorious shouts turned into anguished wails? Did it mean that she and Kayden were really safe?
Yes, it must be so. She had squeezed her eyes shut so tightly, too afraid to witness the violence. But if those thugs were attacking them, surely she would get injured. Yet now she felt nothing!
The thought gave Felicity courage, and slowly, hesitantly, she opened her eyes.
What she saw left her utterly stunned. Her eyes were mere slits moments ago, but now they widened to their absolute limits, round as full moons, filled with shock and disbelief.
“Ah!” A sharp exclaim of surprise escaped her, and her hand flew up instinctively to cover her mouth.
The ground before her was an utter mess. Men lay crumpled in every direction, sprawled out like broken marionettes. The six hundred thugs who, just moments ago, had glared at them like a pack of ravenous wolves, were now writhing in pain. Their faces all contorted with agony. That explained the deafening clamor in her ears just now-it was their cries of torment.
What had happened here? How could this be real?
Felicity blinked rapidly, her mind racing as she tried to process what she was seeing. Her heart pounded, and she was overwhelmed by a sense of disbelief!
What had just happened?
This scene was just so unbelievable, so absurd! She couldn’t believe her eyes!
She shifted her gaze back to the man who had been shielding her this entire time. He still stood tall amidst the chaos.
His figure remained as lean as ever, and his face was pale under the dim light.
At that moment, a soft breeze rolled through the scene. It rustled Kayden’s short hair, lifting the strands ever so slightly.
In that fleeting second, he looked impossibly attractive to Felicity!
Could it have been him? Could he alone have taken down all of these six hundred men?
But this had all unfolded in less than three minutes. In just three minutes, could a single man have felled an entire six hundred people? How could such a feat even be possible?
But … who else could it have been?
There was no one else. No one else had moved, except for Kayden.
It had to be him. Kayden was the one who had brought down these six hundred men!
How had he done it? Felicity had no idea. All she knew was how deeply she regretted keeping her eyes shut!
Why on earth had she closed her eyes in the first place?
Argh! Frustrated, she stomped her foot, gnashing her teeth. If only she could turn back time, she’d never close her eyes and miss a moment like that again.
Her gaze fell back on Kayden, and an undeniable change rippled through her thoughts.
It hadn’t even been an hour since they first met, and she didn’t even know his name.
But she realized now that her eyes simply refused to leave him.
He stood there like a victor claiming his spoils, proud and indomitable. The icy edge in his expression wasn’t a performance; it was who he was, a part of his very essence.
He was the first man to ever call Felicity beautiful. He was also the first to step up and defend her when she was humiliated.
Felicity didn’t know if he truly had feelings for her, but there was no denying the truth that he had utterly, effortlessly captured her heart.
“Oh, Felicity, get a grip! What are you even thinking? Look at yourself! Someone like him could never fall for you.” she berated herself in her mind, and her courage crumbled. Blushing furiously, she dropped her head and felt ashamed.
Meanwhile, Bruno and Owen stood as if turned to stone. Their faces turned pale with terror. They had never, never in their lives seen anything like this.
This man had just knocked down six hundred enemies with his bare fists. It was so unbelievable that even the boldest action movies wouldn’t dare to script it!
Yet this wasn’t a movie. It was horrifyingly real! The piercing screams and chaotic cries echoing around them were proof enough.
