Chapter 939: I’m not saying I can’t be ruthless to you

“That makes sense.”
Eduardo looked at Blanca while he was eating the noodles, ‘Little aunt, everyone’s injuries cannot wait.’
“They are also human and need to rest. If we keep rushing, it will only kill them,” Blanca said indifferently.
“That makes sense.” Eduardo looked at Alonso again.
Alonso didn’t need him to translate a second time, and looked at the group of bound people and said, ‘Take off the clothes on their bodies and use them as padding for the injured. It won’t make their injuries worse. We are now racing against time, and this place is very far from Country A.’
“Where is this place?” Casey took the opportunity to ask.
“This is a large uninhabited island, even more dangerous than Wind Island, and the situation at sea is even more severe.”
Alonso took a few bites and then put down his bowl. “I used to know a few contact points on the island with the mainland, but after I was placed under house arrest, Justin changed all the places, so we have to rely on ourselves to get back to the mainland.”
There was not much time anyway.
“This is actually an island?” Eduardo was shocked. “It’s so big that I haven’t heard a single sound of the wind blowing in the sea.”
It felt exactly the same as being on land.
“So it’s going to take us quite some time just to get off this deserted island.”
There’s no time to waste.
Upon hearing this, Blanca put down the bowl of noodles and refilled it with soup, then instructed Casey and Eduardo, ‘After you’ve finished eating, feed the patient a little, then continue on your way.’
She had compromised.
Alonso stared at her figure. In this regard, she had not changed from before. Once she knew she was wrong, she would immediately correct it.
And he, too, had long since become her fault.
Blanca lifted the curtain and got in the cart, feeding a little of the noodle soup to one of JT’s members.
After a while, the curtain was lifted again, and she turned her head to see Alonso coming up with a bowl of noodle soup, squatting with his knees pressed together to lift Justin up a little and pour the noodle soup into his mouth.
When she saw him come in, Blanca got up and was about to leave.
“If you want to know, I can tell you everything,” Alonso’s deep voice rang out in the cart.
Just as he had held an umbrella for her in the wet, cobblestone alleyways of River Town more than twenty years ago.
She had pretended to joke with him, asking if he was hiding someone in his heart.
That was what he had said then.
“If you want to know, I can tell you everything.”
In the blink of an eye, so many years had passed, and yet they were in the same situation again.
Blanca felt ridiculous, and her answer was exactly the same as it had been then: “No.”
Alonso’s dark eyes darkened.
Blanca lifted the curtain to go downstairs. Alonso looked at her, his eyes filled with suppressed emotions. “Blanca, I…”
“I said I don’t want to know,”
Blanca interrupted him, afraid that he would confess everything, that he would be honest.
She looked back at him coldly, “I don’t want to know if you had ulterior motives when you approached me back then. I don’t want to know if Paige’s disappearance back then had anything to do with you and JT, even if the two families settle things in the future, I won’t be there.”
Alonso crouched in the corner of the wall, silently watching her. His throat felt as if it had been cut with a knife, and the pain made him unable to speak.
“Alonso, it’s not that I don’t want to kill you,”
her heart had long been tortured by him over and over again, and she no longer knew what temperature it was at.
Blanca stared at him word for word, her eyes growing increasingly bloodshot, “I just don’t want Paige to have the memory of her biological mother killing her biological father.”
“…”
Alonso felt only his throat bleeding, choking him and making him gasp for breath.
Blanca jumped off the carriage.
Casey and Eduardo, holding their bowls, looked at her blankly. When they saw her come out, they quickly bowed their heads and ate their noodles, as if they wanted to bury their faces in their bowls.
Blanca walked towards the carriage at the back.
The two brothers let out a sigh of relief. Eduardo sighed, “Brother, as descendants of the Folsom family, let’s not fall in love, or else one day I’ll go crazy if a girl groomed by JT’s influence falls in love with me… Let’s just stay single forever.”
As long as he doesn’t find a woman, that bitter love pain won’t find him.
Perfect.
Upon hearing this, Casey wanted to kick over the bowl in his hands, but thought better of it.

Jared had placed some of his notes in the secret passageway, including some of JT’s life story.
Paige wanted to go down and take a look, but then she realized that Enrico had already had someone collect all the notes and books and lock them up.
Enrico had always been suspicious of everything in the dungeon, but he hadn’t had time to check through all that stuff yet, after all, he had to keep her company and also attend to things outside.
Paige wanted to look at the pile of things, but she was afraid that if she paid too much attention to it, it would attract Enrico’s attention and he would read it all first.
If he had to read JT’s life story, how could he still be logical?
It was good that he didn’t go crazy.
It got dark.
Kelsey brought the dishes from the kitchen and served them at the table. As soon as she finished serving the dishes, Enrico returned from outside.
Enrico walked to the door and glanced in at Paige. Behind his glasses, his eyebrows and eyes smiled warmly, and the corners of his lips curved in a spoiled smile. “The dishes have just been served? Looks like I got back just in time. I’ll take a shower and then eat with you.”
After saying that, Enrico left.
He walked so fast that the faint, almost imperceptible smell of blood that drifted in was like an illusion on her part.
Where did he go?
Paige’s face turned slightly pale.
After a while, Enrico, who had taken a shower, changed his clothes and washed away the smell of the outside world.
He sat down at the table and picked up the chopsticks to serve her food. “I had a bad day and couldn’t buy you the steamed buns, so I’ll buy them for you tomorrow.”
The steamed buns were just outside the Chamber of Commerce.
Paige picked up the food he served and put it in her mouth. She looked up at him and asked casually, “You didn’t go to the Chamber of Commerce today?”
“The Chamber of Commerce is a place I stay for you to see.”
Enrico smiled and picked up some food for her. ‘Now that you know everything, wouldn’t it be a waste of time for me to just sit there?’
“So where did you go today?” Paige asked him.
“I went to the Moonlight Clubhouse for a drink.” Enrico said, adding, ‘I was invited by the head of the Wilkie family.’
Moonlight Clubhouse…
He actually went to a place like that.
Paige frowned.
Seeing that she was not the first time questioning him about plotting with the Wilkie family, but was jealous instead, Enrico was very pleased and held up the bowl next to her to serve her soup, “I only drank wine.”
“…”
Paige looked at him coldly.
Enrico’s movements froze, and an inexplicable sense of panic rose in his chest.
This should not be his emotion, how could he be afraid of Hazel.
He gathered his thoughts, avoided Paige’s gaze, and said nonchalantly, “Speaking of which, I ran into something funny today.”
“What?” Paige still looked at him coldly.
“There was a drunk young master who claimed to be the fourth young master of the Folsom family, pointing his nose at me and scolding me, saying that I had stolen his cousin, and that the Folsom family would not let me go, so he picked up a fan and came to hit me.”
Enrico laughed lowly, “Do you think it’s funny?”
