Chapter 937: He really loves you so much.

Book:The Psychotic Girl's Revenge Published:2025-2-7

Paige, who had been dictated to by the autocrat, could only change into the cheongsam that Enrico had prepared for her.
After the change, Enrico slipped a round fan into her hand, determined to make her a beautiful, delicate, and gentle canary.
There was already a row of plain-dressed maidservants standing in the side hall. They were all from poor families in the city and had never seen such a big house before. They all opened their eyes wide and looked around.
When they saw them come out, the maids in the row hurriedly bowed, “Hello, sir and madam.”
One of them was flustered as she did the gesture.
It was Kelsey.
She was dressed in a drab gray outfit, with a big plaited pigtail, and no makeup, but she was still cute and playful.
Paige’s heart tightened when she saw Kelsey. Why was she here?
“Why are you here?”
Enrico also noticed Kelsey, “Aren’t you from the women’s self-help association?”
Kelsey knew that although they had met in the dungeon and at the city gate, she had always been in the back of the crowd, and Enrico had not remembered her face. Instead, he remembered the time she came to see Paige.
Not being a member of the Folsom family, Enrico should not be on guard against her.
So she gave another exaggerated bow and said smartly, “Yes, I just wanted to come out and find a job. Isn’t this the Davis family? Why… sister, have you become rich? You’re dressed so nicely.”
Enrico didn’t seem to think much of it and looked down at Paige, “What do you think? Isn’t it more enjoyable to have someone familiar looking after you?”
At this point, Paige couldn’t say anything else, so she nodded.
“Then you’ll do.” Enrico looked at Kelsey and said, ‘You’ll be serving your wife personally from now on.’
“Understood!” Kelsey smiled broadly, looking carefree.
After settling the maid’s affairs, Enrico took Paige’s hand and walked out, saying, ‘I’m going out for a while, so you just enjoy the flowers and read a book at home. If there’s anything you want to eat, I’ll buy it for you.’
“Steamed buns,” Paige said without hesitation.
She stared at his good-looking eyes. Since she had arrived in this city, he had given her steamed buns for several days in a row. Did he still remember?
“Okay,” Enrico agreed readily, without a trace of emotion in his eyes.
Okay.
It seemed that all the memories of his ego were in bed.
Paige was silent.
“I know you must be thinking about the women’s self-help group. I’ll donate some money to it when I pass by later,” Enrico coaxed her to cheer up.
She had no right to say no, so she didn’t say anything. “I have a request.”
“Say it.” Enrico liked it when she made requests.
“Don’t call me Hazel anymore.”
She didn’t want to keep living with that name.
Enrico felt upset at the thought that she had changed her name to get away from him, but paradoxically, the name Paige made him feel comfortable.
“Okay,” he said with a smile, “I’ll call you Paige from now on.”
Would calling her by her name more often make him remember who she really was?
Paige said, “I’ll go read in the garden.”
“Okay,” Enrico said, cupping her face in his hands and kissing her forehead. He looked deeply into her eyes and said, “Wait up for me tonight and we’ll have dinner together.”
Paige turned to leave, and Kelsey immediately followed her, skipping merrily.
Enrico watched their receding figures, and the smile in his eyes gradually faded, replaced by a gloomy look.
He gave a side-to-side wave of his finger.
One of his subordinates immediately came up to him, “Master JT.”
“Keep an eye on this girl. She was sent here by the Folsom family,”
Enrico said coldly.
Did he really think he didn’t remember her at all?
“Huh?” The subordinate was shocked. He knew that recently, Master JT seemed to have fallen out with the Folsom family, and he was puzzled, “Then why did you choose her to stay by Hazel’s side?”
Because of this, his Paige will relax and not suspect him…
“Keep an eye on her. If she dares to send information to the Folsom family…”
If Paige dares to turn to the Folsom family…
Enrico rotated the snake ring on his thumb, and cold words came from his thin lips, “The world is so chaotic, with two accidental deaths every day, what’s so strange?”
His Paige, no matter what, can’t blame it on him.
On hearing this, his subordinate bowed his head, “Yes, I understand what to do.”

Kelsey skipped merrily into the garden with Paige, her eyes wide open, waiting for Paige to praise her.
Paige glanced around, and as her subordinate was standing a little further away, she reached out and pinched Kelsey’s face, displeased, “How dare you come here? This is no place for peace.”
“You’re the one who told me to come,”
Kelsey said earnestly.
Paige sent a letter to the Folsom family, which, in addition to a list of names, also contained a sentence or two of nonsense that told them to release the person.
Using an anagram, she told them a word: flooding.
So, they put the letter in the water, and the smallest of words appeared, all about Enrico’s current situation. Paige wanted to ask the hypnotist Alonso, and then have them tell her the answer.
“You don’t even know any kung fu, what are you doing here?”
Paige also wanted someone to deliver the message for her, but she didn’t expect the Folsom family to send Kelsey.
“This is the only chance I have to get in. Big auntie knows some kung fu, but… she can’t apply for the maid position, right?” Kelsey asked with justification.
“…”
Paige thought about it for a moment, and when she saw Brangelina with a pigtail braid, she was speechless.
She turned around and sat down on the swing next to her, and Kelsey wanted to sit with her.
Paige suddenly remembered what she and Enrico did here yesterday, and silently pulled Kelsey and walked over to the bench next to them, where they sat down side by side. “But I still don’t feel very safe,” she said.
Enrico was now thinking only of himself when they were in bed, but the rest of the time, he was thinking like JT.
JT is a deeply thoughtful person who loves to put on airs. On the surface, he looks more refined and gentle than anyone else, but the blood on his hands is heavier than anyone else’s.
She wasn’t sure, but Enrico didn’t suspect Kelsey at all.
“It’s okay, I’ll be careful,”
Kelsey said nonchalantly, then whispered in her ear, “Your father read your letter. He said that your understanding is correct.”
Upon hearing this, Paige’s eyes lit up.
“In your brother-in-law’s current situation, in their school of thought, it is considered integrative hypnosis.”
Kelsey looked at her and said, ‘Because of your existence, your brother-in-law is too familiar with you, to the point of it being like a kind of muscle memory… Therefore, JT’s way of thinking cannot completely suppress his ego, and the two of them have formed a kind of integration. In this situation, the more of your brother-in-law’s ego you awaken, the more likely it is that he will wake up from the hypnotic state.’
“…”
Muscle memory.
Paige didn’t know whether to be depressed or happy for a moment.
“But be careful, don’t rush things, especially don’t forcefully mention things from your past, that will cause him to have cognitive biases. You can only do it subtly,”
Kelsey continued to convey the message, ‘And for places that aren’t part of his muscle memory, don’t try or remind him over and over again, it will backfire.’
In other words, she could only spend time with him in places that were part of his muscle memory.
Paige was silent.
Kelsey asked curiously, “Brother-in-law really loves you very much. He can still treat you in the same way even after being hypnotized. What have you two done that has formed muscle memory?”
Paige only said in the letter that Enrico occasionally treated her in a way that was his own, and that period of time was obviously not JT’s thinking.
