Chapter 806: Another attempt to seduce Monteo (2)

“We were tired from playing during the day and went to bed early.”
Paige casually told a white lie, then crouched down to look at him, “Have you brushed your teeth? Shall I take you to have breakfast?”
“Yes, and then we can continue playing?”
Gabriel was hooked.
Paige looked at him and said, “Mommy is going to go find Mr. Monteo for a while. It’s not about whether or not you can go with us. He’s a great medical scientist, and Mommy wants to ask him to help a lot of people.”
She didn’t want Gabriel to be suspicious again.
Gabriel had played with them all day and had completely figured it out. “Go ahead, business is important. I’ll find Uncle Bodyguard for breakfast by myself.”
“My son is so good.”
Paige couldn’t help but pinch his little nose. Then she thought about Samantha. Monteo was still resting, so the little girl probably hadn’t had breakfast yet. She said, “Do you want to go play with Samantha?”
“Yes,” Gabriel nodded.
If mommy and daddy don’t have time, the little lady is fine.
“Then you have to find her on your own. If you find her, you can go have breakfast with the bodyguards.”
Paige then glanced in the direction of the Puppet House, giving him a cheat.
Gabriel saw what she was doing and understood, narrowed his eyes and smiled, kissed Paige’s face, and walked towards the Puppet House.
The large tree leaves were pushed aside, and Samantha was sitting on the steps, looking at the person coming in disbelief.
“Little miss, why are you here alone? Have you had breakfast yet? Let’s go eat together,” Gabriel smiled at her, sincere and cute.
“No,” Samantha shook her head and stood up to leave.
“Ah, but my mommy’s gone, and I’m just a kid, so I can’t find a place to eat,”
Gabriel put his hands behind his back, frowned, and looked very troubled. “Eh, I’ll just look for myself. It’s okay if I get lost and sold,”
he said, and turned to leave.
Samantha had no idea that there was a bunch of bodyguards following him. Upon hearing this, she frowned and followed him, “I know where the restaurant is, I’ll take you there.”
“Good!” Gabriel immediately turned back.

Paige pushed open the door to the resort bungalow. Enrico was sitting on the sofa, holding a remote control in his hand and playing a video game.
“Bang, bang, bang.”
Gunshots were heard, and the screen was full of blood.
Paige leaned against the door and knocked, saying, “Enrico, come with me to find Monteo.”
“Okay.” Enrico threw the remote control in his hand and stood up, walking towards her, his shirt crisp and his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Where he normally wore a watch, there was now a red gift ribbon tied around his wrist, very conspicuous.
“Can you not wear this?” Paige couldn’t look at him, not knowing what he meant.
“It doesn’t look good?” Enrico held up his hand. ‘I can wear this accessory for the rest of my life.”
Unwrap the present for the rest of your life, wear the ribbon for the rest of your life.
Just be yourself.
Paige rubbed her eyes, which were stinging from the sting. ‘I asked you here to do serious business, and you’re wearing this, which is affecting my performance.”
On hearing this, Enrico let out a low chuckle and twirled the ribbon around his wrist. “What, does it evoke fond memories for you?”
“What’s so fond about it?”
What’s so fond about it.
Enrico didn’t like what she said, and pushed her against the door, pressing one hand against the side of her head while he unbuttoned her shirt with the other.
“What are you doing?”
Paige was shocked.
“Someone left quite a few marks on me. You help me analyze which ones are not beautiful, so I can urge her to improve next time.”
As he spoke, Enrico had already unbuttoned three buttons.
A red mark just below her collarbone had not faded at this point, and there were also marks from fingernails, which were particularly obvious and brought back a flushing memory.
She quickly held down Enrico’s hands that were doing mischief, “You can tie the ribbon, I won’t say anymore.”
“No longer disgusted?” Enrico raised an eyebrow.
“No longer disgusted,”
Paige forced a smile, knowing that she would have gone to find Monteo herself.
“That’s more like it, I’ll let you off the hook.”
Enrico reattached the clasp and raised his hand, rubbing the side of his wrist against her neck. She looked at him suspiciously, “What are you doing?”
“The scent has faded.”
Enrico lowered his head, smelling the faint, crisp scent that had returned on the ribbon. He was content, letting his hand drop as he led her away.
“…”
She must find a chance to burn this ribbon! Not even the ashes left behind!
After all the commotion, when they found Monteo, he was already sitting in the guest room, eating the breakfast that had been delivered, all alone.
After opening the door for them, Monteo laughed and said, “Mr. and Mrs. Gustin have figured it out?”
Paige gave a faint smile and didn’t answer him, just looked at the breakfast on the table and said, “Monteo dining alone?”
“Samantha and your son went to breakfast, so I don’t need to worry. Half the resort is full of your people.”
Monteo had seen it all.
Along the entire border, except for the Lautners, I’m afraid that only the resort is the safest place.
“Then you continue, we’ll just sit here for a while and then leave,” Paige said.
Monteo nodded, sat down at the table, and looked very refreshed.
Paige sat down opposite Enrico, and the air was filled with the smell of mint-flavored plasters. Without saying anything, she just sat quietly and waited for Monteo to eat.
Monteo threw a document in front of Paige.
Paige took it, and this time, Monteo gave her several case files of Ferris Wheel virus patients he had come into contact with, and he sent her detailed information.
Those who couldn’t hold out had already died, but two severe cases had been treated with his treatment plan and had now been turned into mild cases.
“Traditional Chinese medicine?” Paige read his plan.
“Traditional Chinese medicine is warm in nature and, in terms of long-term results, is better than Western medicine,” Monteo said to her.
Obviously, he already had a treatment plan of his own, and he just needed to find more cases to see the final results.
Paige knew that he was telling her that he was definitely worth the cost.
She didn’t say anything, just quickly took photos of the case files and sent them back to The Capital.
“Mrs. Gustin, please think about it,” said Monteo.
Paige gave a faint smile and didn’t reply, waiting until Monteo finished eating his breakfast before she turned to look at Enrico.
Enrico was sitting nearby playing with his phone, not participating in their conversation at all, until she looked over at him. He put away his phone, stood up slowly, and walked over to Monteo.
Monteo looked at him suspiciously.
Enrico pulled a pistol from his waist and pointed it squarely at his head. He shouted coldly, “Don’t move.”
Monteo’s face immediately fell. ‘Mr. Gustin wouldn’t think that I, Monteo, am afraid of death, would he?”
“Monteo, I’m sorry,’ Paige got up, bowed to him, and then stepped forward and pressed his wrist.
Although she did not have Monteo’s medical skills, she had learned medical jamming from Jasper and had no problem taking his pulse.
Seeing this, Monteo realized what they were doing. He hurriedly tried to withdraw his hand, but the muzzle of the gun poked at the back of his head, arrogantly preventing him from struggling.
