“Flynn… ugh… Blaaargh…”
Harriet sat at the entrance of the hallway, waiting anxiously. When she saw Layla Woods approaching with a cold expression, afraid that they would clash, she quickly followed.
To her dismay, as soon as she entered the room, she saw pieces of flesh on the floor and immediately vomited.
Flynn killed Vivienne Osborn!
It was a gruesome sight, with no remains left.
They would have to collect every bit and put it in garbage bags.
“Ms. Woods, save me! Please save me!” Takada Kazuo cried out in fear, his face filled with terror.
Flynn was also taken aback, his raised hand frozen in mid-air.
He didn’t expect this woman to arrive so quickly.
“Flynn, I have spared you time and time again, but you keep pushing my limits. Did you really think I wouldn’t do anything to you?” Layla Woods’s eyes burst with an endless coldness as her voice pierced through Flynn like a knife.
Her imposing aura exploded forth, enveloping the CEO’s office in an icy atmosphere.
She was truly furious this time.
This was the first time she had been so enraged. A hint of killing intent even appeared on her face.
Harriet couldn’t help but shiver.
Because of Flynn’s relationship with Rose, she had interacted with Layla Woods several times before but had never seen her this angry.
Layla Woods had always come across as cold in front of people, proud like an empress. She rarely spoke unless necessary and never easily lost her temper.
Because influential figures were skilled at hiding their emotions.
But today, she was truly furious.
“You’re insane! This guy caused my brother’s wife to be seriously injured just to steal a formula. I killed him. What does it have to do with you?” Flynn said coldly.
“Nonsense!” Layla Woods narrowed her eyes slightly and said coldly, “I already know what happened. It was Daniel Norrie who pursued Georgina Holmes relentlessly and had Arthur Fils hit her out of spite.”
“What does that have to do with Takada Kazuo?”
“You hold a grudge against Takada Kazuo for investing 15 billion dollars in Lilia Hussain. You want to frame him. Don’t you think it’s despicable?”
“If you don’t have the ability to confront me, then admit defeat early instead of resorting to such low tactics all the time.”
Flynn was dumbfounded.
What was she talking about?
He held a grudge against Takada Kazuo because of his investment in Lilia Hussain?
What was this woman thinking?
Seeing Flynn’s expression, Layla Woods let out a disdainful snort, and a look of disgust appeared on her stunning face.
The reason she was so angry was that this wasn’t the first time Flynn had done something like this.
The last time Darren Stockton came to invest, Flynn used tricks to drive them away.
And now he wanted to target Takada Kazuo?
It was just a regular criminal case, but he insisted on slandering Takada Kazuo. Wasn’t that shameless?
Harriet was also stunned and quickly explained, “Ms. Woods, you misunderstood. Takada Kazuo is indeed the mastermind. He stole formulas from more than ten Ostradian companies.”
“And if Flynn wanted to kill Takada Kazuo because of his investment in Lilia Hussain, why didn’t he do it on the day he arrived in Niarak? After all the investments were made, what’s the point of killing him now?”
Layla Woods chuckled disdainfully and said, “You’re just a small employee who doesn’t understand the whole story. You’d better stay out of it.”
“Mr. Kazuo added another 3 billion dollars. Flynn learned about this through certain channels and was afraid that Mr. Kazuo would continue to increase his investment, so he wanted to threaten him.”
“He added another 3 billion dollars?” Flynn’s eyes flashed with suspicion.
This sudden addition of 3 billion dollars seemed odd.
As a company worth billions, how could Komatsu Conglomerate be interested in participating in such business battles?
The initial 10 billion dollars was given only because Layla Woods had saved their boss.
But now he added another 3 billion dollars?
It was hard to understand.
“Takada Kazuo added 3 billion dollars to Lilia Hussain two days ago. You must have found out about it. Stop pretending,” Layla Woods said with a sneer.
“You’ve planted spies in the Dragon Gate Group, haven’t you? So what? Even if you know the exact amount they’ve raised, what can you do to change the impending disaster you’re facing?”
“Your underhanded tactics are completely useless to turn the tide!” Layla Woods scoffed, narrowing her eyes disdainfully.
Flynn could hardly believe his ears. “One minute you say I’m threatening Takada Kazuo, and the next you accuse me of placing spies in the Dragon Gate Group.”
“Are you out of your mind? Your delusions are severe!”
He had a vague suspicion about the thirty billion dollars, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
What kind of agreement had Lilia Hussain made with Takada Kazuo that led him to invest an additional thirty billion?
Who cared?
In any case, Takada Kazuo didn’t need to be alive anymore.
“I don’t need to plant any spies. As for threatening Takada Kazuo… it’s nonsense.”
“I want to kill him!” Flynn’s eyes filled with chilling light as he slapped Takada Kazuo’s skull with his palm.
Bang!
The sound of a fractured skull echoed through the room.
Takada Kazuo’s eyes rolled back, leaving only white in his sockets.
Blood gushed out from the top of his head, mixed with white brain matter, dripping onto the floor rhythmically.
Thud!
Takada Kazuo instantly fell to the ground, convulsing all over his body. His legs kicked uncontrollably until he stopped breathing within ten seconds.
“This young man is unbelievable! He disregards all the rules of the world and does whatever he wants!” Jan Struff was shocked, staring at the scene before him with a look of sheer terror.
Killing Vivienne Osborn was one thing. She was just a despicable traitor.
But Takada Kazuo was a high-level executive of Komatsu Conglomerate, yet Flynn didn’t hesitate to kill him.
“Ahhh!” Harriet screamed again, unable to contain her fear. She covered her eyes with both hands and trembled uncontrollably.
She had never witnessed such a scene before-flesh flying around and brain matter splattering everywhere.
Flynn couldn’t help but shake his head and spread his hands. “What did I say? I told you to wait outside for me. Why did you follow me in? Now look at yourself, scared and crying.”
Layla Woods watched as Takada Kazuo convulsed until his last breath escaped him and snapped out of her shock.
She didn’t expect Flynn to dare to kill Takada Kazuo!
Even more surprising was that despite her attempts to stop him, Flynn still didn’t hold back.
And what she couldn’t believe was that after killing someone, Flynn could still joke around with Harriet!
He completely disregarded her!
“Flynn, I’ve tolerated you for a long time!”
Despicable!
Too despicable!
She couldn’t hold back her anger any more!
Boom!
Suddenly, killing intent burst forth from Layla Woods’ beautiful eyes. Her overwhelming aura was tangible.
Jan Struff and Harriet felt as if they were frozen in place under this overwhelming pressure that covered everything like an avalanche.
“The Eighteen Forms of the Celestial Blade First Form-Heavensfall!”
Layla Woods unleashed her technique-a tangible ball of energy formed in her hand as she fiercely smashed it towards Flynn!
