“Billy, I need to leave for a while too,” White Feather said to Billy after the Crown Princess had left.
“White Feather, where are you going?” Stout asked, stunned.
“I need to find my master. He left me a message to find him after I exit seclusion,” White Feather replied.
“Mr. White is no longer in the Nine Dragons Space?” Stout was taken aback.
Billy was also surprised; he didn’t know this.
“Yes,” White Feather nodded.
“Didn’t Mr. White say he would teach the boss some techniques? Why did he leave so suddenly?” Stout continued.
“Billy, the master said that what you lack now is not martial techniques,” White Feather turned to Billy.
“The last blade technique in the Heaven Book is enough for you. Learning too many techniques isn’t good; what you lack is cultivation level. Improving your cultivation is the priority,” White Feather said to Billy.
“Understood!” Billy nodded. “Then you should go. Mr. White must have something important for you.”
White Feather was right. He didn’t lack martial techniques; as long as he improved his cultivation, mastering the last blade technique from the Heaven Book would be sufficient.
“Okay!” White Feather responded. “Billy, be careful. If there’s an emergency, send me a message.”
“With the master’s strength, as long as you’re in the ninth-tier star domain, he can reach you quickly.”
“Alright!” Billy nodded.
Then, White Feather spoke briefly to Sanaa and Stout before flying off.
“Miss Sanaa, do you know the general location of Azure Profound City?” Billy asked Sanaa.
“Yes!” Sanaa nodded and input the information about Azure Profound City into Billy’s mind. “Are you planning to use the Chaos Compass?”
“Sanaa, you know the compass is with the boss?” Stout asked in surprise.
“Is it hard to guess?” Sanaa replied. “With how quickly you two have improved your cultivation, could it be done without the Chaos Compass?”
“Alright!” Stout shrugged.
Billy then summoned the Chaos Compass and input the location of Azure Profound City.
Azure Profound City was quite far from the Savage Beast Domain. It took about two quarters of an hour for the three of them to appear near the star domain of Azure Profound City.
“The Chaos Compass lives up to its name!” Sanaa couldn’t help but exclaim.
She had heard of the compass’s wonders but experiencing it firsthand was truly astonishing. Such a long distance covered in just two quarters of an hour.
“Let’s go, Azure Profound City is a million miles away!” Sanaa said and led Billy and Stout forward.
“Sanaa, do you know about Mr. White in the Nine Dragons Space?” Stout asked on the way.
“What do you want to ask?” Sanaa countered.
“Who is stronger, the experts in Azure Profound City or Mr. White?” Stout pursued.
“I’m not sure about the highest expert in Azure Profound City,” Sanaa shook her head.
“But I estimate that if Mr. White goes all out, no one in Azure Profound City can withstand a single move from him!”
“Then I have a question!” Stout said.
“Azure Profound City is the strongest force besides Heaven Alliance, yet it’s no match for Mr. White. Who injured Mr. White back then?”
Billy was also curious about this!
He had wondered before; with Mr. White’s strength and the Nine Dragons Cauldron in hand, who could injure him so severely?
“Is there an ancient being in Heaven Alliance stronger than him? Was he injured by someone from Heaven Alliance?” Stout added.
“You have quite an imagination!” Sanaa responded, pausing briefly before continuing.
“First, he wasn’t injured by one person; he was besieged by a group and eventually exhausted his true energy and was severely injured.”
“Second, although there are people in Heaven Alliance with comparable strength to his, he wasn’t injured by someone from Heaven Alliance.”
“Then who injured him?” Stout asked.
“The ones who injured him came from outside this domain!” Sanaa said.
“Outside this domain?” Billy and Stout were both stunned.
“Yes!” Sanaa nodded and briefly explained to them.
A long time ago, the ninth-tier star domain faced a similar crisis, even worse than now since Heaven Alliance wasn’t there to maintain order.
In Mr. White’s era, it was true internal and external turmoil, and he almost single-handedly saved the entire universe.
The ninth-tier star domain had been infiltrated by external forces, with many powerful beings wreaking havoc and killing countless lives. He was like a firefighter, putting out fires everywhere.
Of course, countless Otherworldly Beings died at his hands too.
Eventually, the external forces couldn’t bear more losses and agreed to a fair fight with him.
If he won, all Otherworldly Beings would retreat beyond the Shattered Realm and never return.
If he lost, Otherworldly Beings would take over this universe completely.
Given the situation then, he had little choice but to agree; otherwise, more lives would be lost in the ninth-tier star domain.
In the end, they tricked him; what was supposed to be a fair fight turned into a gang assault.
The external forces sent twenty top experts against him. Though some strong allies from the ninth-tier star domain helped later, their strength wasn’t on par and provided little assistance.
The battle ended in mutual destruction!
Despite having twenty top experts against him, his Nine Dragons Cauldron helped him hold his ground.
Out of those twenty experts, only three survived with their souls intact; others were completely annihilated.
Even those three lost their physical bodies and had their souls severely damaged.
Mr. White himself barely survived that battle.
After that fight, he disappeared from the ninth-tier star domain, and everyone thought he had perished.
The external forces became subdued after losing their top experts and withdrew all infiltrated beings beyond the Shattered Realm.
Since then, although they occasionally caused minor troubles near the Shattered Realm, they couldn’t pose significant threats anymore.
Later on, Heaven Alliance rose to power and became the ruler of this universe. They formed the Heaven Alliance Legion, solidifying the Shattered Realm’s defenses.
However, in recent centuries, provocations from external forces near the Shattered Realm have increased significantly, especially in recent years, becoming more blatant.
Clearly, after years of silence, they have recovered and are trying their old tricks again.
“So Mr. White was such a great person?” Stout couldn’t help but say after hearing Sanaa’s story.
“He indeed deserves respect!” Sanaa nodded and added.
“But he’s relatively solitary by nature, likes to act alone, and is straightforward in his interactions, which has offended many people.”
“I know that; he likes to act cool!” Stout responded.
