“What do you mean?” Stout pressed for an answer.
“In the past few months, several forces have arrived in this star domain, all coming for the Chaos Realm,” the innkeeper continued.
“Now they are all leaving at the same time. If nothing unexpected happens, there must be new developments in the Chaos Realm…”
“Who were those people just now?” Billy asked casually.
“They are from the War Clan!” the innkeeper responded.
“War Clan? Who are they?” Stout inquired.
“You haven’t heard of the War Clan?” the innkeeper asked, surprised.
“The War Clan is the strongest force in this star domain. Even within the entire ninth-tier star domain, if we don’t count the Heaven Alliance and those ancient forces, the War Clan ranks third!”
“Oh?” Stout was taken aback. “Then who are the first and second-ranked forces?”
“You don’t know?” The innkeeper looked astonished.
“No, we don’t,” Stout shook his head.
They really had no idea about this. They had never had the chance to ask about it before.
“If we don’t count the Heaven Alliance and the ancient forces, the first-ranked force is the Divine Court, and the second-ranked force is the Heaven Origin Clan,” the innkeeper continued.
After a brief pause, he added, “Both the Divine Court and the Heaven Origin Clan have sent people to this star domain, all heading for the Chaos Realm.”
“The Divine Court and the Heaven Origin Clan?” Stout licked his lips. “They sound quite formidable.”
The innkeeper:
Are you saying that the first and second-ranked forces in the ninth-tier star domain only sound formidable?
In reality, they are indeed formidable!
“By the way, isn’t there a formation protecting the entrance to the Chaos Realm?” Stout continued. “If the formation remains intact, even if they know where the Chaos Realm is located, it shouldn’t be of any use, right?”
“It is said that the Divine Court has sent a high-level Array Master and a Heavenly Empyrean Realm expert,” the innkeeper responded again.
“In addition, they have invited the Heaven Origin Clan and the War Clan to each send a Heavenly Empyrean Realm expert. It seems they intend to forcefully break through the formation!”
“Heavenly Empyrean Realm?” Stout asked with a curious expression. “All three forces have Heavenly Empyrean Realm experts?”
Cloudsoaring Palace and Phoenix Clan were both forces that could rank in the top five, but their strongest experts seemed to only reach the fifth-rank Comprehending Empyrean Realm. That’s why he asked.
“Of course!” The innkeeper nodded.
“The top three forces are far beyond those behind them. The gap is like a chasm; they are not on the same level at all.”
“Alright!” Stout shrugged and continued, “Can these Heavenly Empyrean Realm warriors really break through the formation at the entrance of the Chaos Realm by force?”
“I don’t know!” The innkeeper shook his head.
“Thanks!” Billy replied before turning to Stout. “Let’s go and take a look!”
After saying that, he took out ten Obsidian Gems from his body and placed them on the table before heading towards the staircase with Stout.
Not long after, the two of them walked out of the first floor entrance and followed the crowd as they flew through the air.
“Boss, do you think they can really break that formation?” Stout asked while floating in mid-air.
“I’m not sure,” Billy shook his head slightly.
“I hope it won’t be like last time in the Realm of the Void when someone used this as an opportunity to harm us,” Stout said again.
“Let’s go and see,” Billy replied thoughtfully.
“Boss, do you think there are still people inside the Chaos Realm?” Stout continued asking.
“Yes,” Billy nodded.
The Chaos Realm only sealed off its entrances and exits from the outside world. It didn’t mean that there were no people inside. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have caused such a stir.
Stout had asked Skyla Meyer about this question before.
The answer he received was that not only were there people inside the Chaos Realm, but there were definitely quite a few.
Although Chaos Realm had declined in the past, it hadn’t completely disappeared. Many people had survived, and now after hundreds of thousands of years had passed, there were definitely not few in number.
Moreover, according to Skyla Meyer’s speculation, the strength of various forces inside might be even higher than that of the outside world.
“Those people inside should have considerable strength,” Stout continued. “These people are so eager to enter Chaos Realm for treasures. Aren’t they worried about not being able to return?”
“Just wishful thinking,” Billy said lightly with a smile.
“That’s true,” Stout nodded and then asked again, “Boss, do you think our old master will come to Chaos Realm?”
“I don’t know,” Billy shook his head.
As they chatted, they continued to fly through the air.
After about an hour or so, they stopped. Looking around, they saw figures flickering in the void. There were countless people, estimated to be at least tens of thousands.
“So many people?” Stout couldn’t help but exclaim.
As they spoke, they looked around but saw nothing except for dense crowds of people.
After a brief pause, Stout turned to Billy and asked, “Boss, is this really the entrance to Chaos Realm?”
“Yes,” Billy nodded.
He had already read Skyla Meyer’s route map on their way here. The entrance to Chaos Realm was indeed nearby.
“Is it you guys?” At that moment, a man’s voice reached their ears.
Billy and Stout turned their heads and saw that it was the green-robed man from earlier at the teahouse. He was accompanied by a large group of people who should all be members of the War Clan, numbering around a hundred.
The yellow-robed woman and two black-robed elders stood beside him.
“What a coincidence,” Stout said with a faint smile.
“You have some nerve coming here to die!” The green-robed man replied coldly.
“Are you sure you want to kill us just because we didn’t give up our seats for you?” Stout asked again.
“Is it hard to accept?” The green-robed man spoke with a deep voice.
“There was someone like you last time who saw our young miss arrive but still refused to give up their seat. Can you guess what happened to him in the end?”
“I don’t know,” Stout shrugged his shoulders. “Tell me.”
“I directly incinerated his soul, preventing him from being reincarnated forever!” The green-robed man replied.
“That’s terrifying,” Stout showed a slightly panicked expression. “You’re not planning to do that to us too, are you?”
“What do you think?” The green-robed man replied with a heavy tone. “If you destroy your own physical body, I can spare your life…”
“Boss, should we just kill them?” Stout ignored him and turned to Billy for an answer.
“Foolish!” The green-robed man frowned and made a move towards Stout.
He had already investigated Stout’s cultivation level and knew that he was two or three levels lower than him. Naturally, he didn’t take him seriously.
Just as he approached Stout, Stout threw a punch directly at him.
The green-robed man showed no intention of retreating; he raised his hand and formed an imprint to meet Stout’s attack head-on. With full force behind it, it seemed like he wanted to end it with one strike.
A loud bang resounded as he was sent flying hundreds of yards away.
In mid-air, both his physical body and soul perished simultaneously, completely annihilated.
At that moment of his death, he couldn’t understand how he could just disappear like this!
