“Miss Ryleigh, you’re being unreasonable. I was just asking a question…” Stout approached.
“If you don’t keep your mouth shut, I’ll make sure you never find peace!” Ryleigh Fritz’s face darkened, her aura filled with killing intent.
Anything could be said, except for her age. Stout was treading on her last nerve!
“Scared me to death. Fine, I won’t say anything.” Stout shrugged.
“Mr. Orozco, stop standing around. Have your people take action. Since the Bonded Clan wants to die, let’s grant their wish!” Ryleigh Fritz turned to Nikhil Orozco.
“Alright!” Nikhil Orozco waved his hand behind him. “Bonded Clan members, kill!”
“Understood!” An elder of the first-rank Comprehending Empyrean Realm responded and led his people into battle.
Only the black-robed elder stayed behind to guard Nikhil Orozco, likely to ensure his safety.
“Taryn, call for reinforcements!” Kadence Escobar frowned again.
“Heh, do you think you can still call for help?” Ryleigh Fritz sneered. “You probably don’t know yet, but the Bonded Clan’s headquarters is even more chaotic than here!”
“What do you mean? Did you send people to the Bonded Clan?” Kadence Escobar asked angrily.
“What do you think?” Ryleigh Fritz smiled in response.
As they spoke, Taryn Escobar took out a communication stone and sent a message.
“Misses Escobar, if you take my advice, don’t resist pointlessly.” Nikhil Orozco smiled faintly. “After today, there will be no more Bonded Clan in Avici Hell. If you surrender, perhaps you can still have…”
“Dream on if you think we’ll surrender without a fight!” Taryn Escobar said coldly after putting away the communication stone.
“Mr. Orozco, since they don’t appreciate kindness, let’s take action,” Ryleigh Fritz suggested to Nikhil Orozco. “Let’s finish this quickly and go see the excitement at the Bonded Clan’s estate!”
“Alright!” Nikhil Orozco turned to the black-robed elder. “Elder Kade, exchange a few moves with Miss Escobar.”
“Very well!” The black-robed elder nodded and looked at Kadence Escobar. “Make your move. If you can withstand three of my strikes, you may live.”
“Tsk tsk, old man, you must be over ten thousand years old. Don’t you feel ashamed bullying young girls?” Stout clicked his tongue.
“You talk too much!” Ryleigh Fritz’s tone darkened. “Since you like meddling so much, I’ll send you to the underworld!”
With those words, she charged at Stout with full force, unleashing a violent attack.
Boom!
As her attack was halfway through, a dark shadow flashed from Billy’s body-it was Dark Puppet.
Having absorbed many high-level soul bodies recently, Dark Puppet’s power had surged, enough to contend with mid-to-late Entering Empyrean Realm opponents.
Though Ryleigh Fritz was a ninth-rank Entering Empyrean Realm cultivator, she was already injured. Her current strength was on par with Dark Puppet’s at best.
After a muffled sound, both were sent flying a thousand feet back.
“What is this thing?” Ryleigh Fritz shouted at Dark Puppet.
Whoosh!
Before she could finish her sentence, Dark Puppet attacked again with incredible speed, unleashing a barrage of violent strikes that cracked the void.
Sensing Dark Puppet’s assault, Ryleigh Fritz frowned and called out to Nikhil Orozco. “Mr. Orozco, this thing is tricky. Let’s take it down together!”
“Alright!” Nikhil Orozco charged at Dark Puppet and shouted, “Elder Kade, take action!”
Whoosh!
As he spoke, the black-robed elder flashed towards Kadence Escobar, his aura surging.
With his move, the second-rank Comprehending Empyrean Realm power was fully displayed, distorting the surrounding void.
This display alone was enough to make Kadence Escobar despair. She knew she couldn’t withstand even one strike in her current state.
“Sis, be careful!” Taryn Escobar cried out in alarm.
“Taryn, run!” Kadence Escobar shouted as she prepared to fight.
“You’re no match for him. Let me handle this!” Billy’s voice rang out. “You go distract that young master from Cloudsoaring Palace.”
With those words, he swung his wrist and unleashed a blade light with his Sky Burial Blade.
After a loud crash, the void collapsed into a massive black hole, spewing dark matter.
Billy and the black-robed elder were both sent flying a thousand feet back, evenly matched.
“Oh my?!” The black-robed elder’s pupils contracted in shock.
A sixth-rank Extinguishing God Realm cultivator could block an attack at eighty to ninety percent of his power?!
Kadence Escobar and her sister were equally shocked-this was unbelievable!
Kadence finally believed what Elder Kobe had told her about the new master of the Nine Dragons Cauldron; he couldn’t be ordinary!
“What are you waiting for?” Billy turned to Kadence Escobar.
“Thank you!” Kadence snapped out of it and rushed towards Nikhil Orozco’s position.
“I underestimated you. Take another strike!” The black-robed elder attacked again.
He pulled out an ancient sword from his storage ring and threw it into the air. The sword seemed to come alive and began to dance rapidly.
In an instant, the area within tens of thousands of feet around them was covered in sword light, tearing open dark rifts in the void.
The sword light converged into a massive phantom sword that struck down at Billy like lightning.
At the same time, Billy moved as well. With full power, he unleashed a Sky Burial Blade strike.
The blade light shattered the phantom sword and then slashed through the elder’s body.
“Impossible…”
The elder managed to say before his aura deflated like a punctured balloon. His body fell in two pieces from mid-air.
His soul shot up into the sky, filled with disbelief at the outcome.
Gasp!
Taryn Escobar couldn’t help but gasp. She knew Billy was strong but hadn’t expected him to be this powerful!
“Miss Taryn, stay safe!” Stout said as he chased after the elder’s body-he couldn’t let the storage ring go!
“What are you?” The elder’s soul asked Billy desperately.
Whoosh!
Before he could finish speaking, Dark Puppet disengaged from Ryleigh Fritz and charged at the elder’s soul.
Seeing this situation clearly now, Ryleigh Fritz was equally shocked.
Without hesitation, she turned and fled. She knew the elder’s strength well-he was a solid second-rank Comprehending Empyrean Realm cultivator. For Billy to destroy his body with one strike was terrifying; her will to fight had vanished completely.
