Actually, it wasn’t just Azure Dragon and the others who were surprised. The buzz-cut man’s face also showed a hint of astonishment. He clearly hadn’t expected Casey, who was only at the fifth-rank Breaking God Realm, to possess such combat power.
“Not bad, let’s go again!” The buzz-cut man paused before attacking once more.
“Alright!” Casey didn’t waste any words and swung his blade again. This time, he activated his bloodline power. After a loud crash, the buzz-cut man was sent flying a thousand feet away, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth as he steadied himself, his face full of shock.
After a brief pause, he looked at Casey and asked, “Who exactly are you people?”
“Do you still want to fight?” Casey countered.
At that moment, dozens of figures flew out from the city, all dressed uniformly in battle attire, each holding a black long spear.
“Who dares to cause trouble here? This is your final warning. Leave immediately or face death!” the leading man shouted.
“Is Old Steele not in the camp?” Fairy asked.
“How dare you!” the leading man roared and waved his hand. “Attack!”
“Stop it, all of you!” A man’s voice echoed through the air. As the words fell, a man who appeared to be in his fifties flew over. He had thick eyebrows, large eyes, and a strong build. Billy couldn’t sense any aura from him, indicating he was above the God Realm.
“Greetings, Commander!” The group of men immediately bowed upon seeing him.
“Miss Fairy, what brings you here?” Rigel Steele asked respectfully, ignoring the others.
“You’re finally out?” Fairy glanced at him. “If you had come out any later, I might have destroyed your camp.”
“Hehe, sorry about that. I was training some new recruits,” Rigel Steele chuckled. “Had I known it was you, Miss Fairy, I wouldn’t have dared to delay.”
Seeing this, the other men were all astonished. They knew their commander to be an arrogant figure who rarely showed such respect to anyone. Who was this woman?
“Commander, who is she?” the leading man couldn’t help but ask.
“You almost caused trouble for me! Take your men and get back to the city!” Rigel Steele glared at him.
“But Commander, she…” The leading man started to speak again.
“If you say one more word, you’ll be confined for three months!” Rigel Steele interrupted.
Hearing this, the leading man trembled and quickly returned to the city with the others following suit.
“Miss Fairy, what can I do for you?” Rigel Steele asked.
“Take a look at them,” Fairy pointed to Casey and Azure Dragon’s group.
“What do you mean?” Rigel Steele was puzzled.
“Just look at them,” Fairy insisted.
“Miss Fairy, you need to give me some hint about what to look for…” Rigel Steele’s words trailed off as he examined Casey closely. His face showed a hint of surprise. He then scrutinized Azure Dragon and Azure Fang, his eyebrows raising slightly with each one he looked at.
“Miss Fairy, where did you find such extraordinary individuals?” Rigel Steele asked after a while. It was clear he had discovered their unique physiques.
“They’re yours now,” Fairy replied. “Train them for me and then take them to your old master for further polishing. I’ll come back for them later.”
“Leave them with me?” Rigel Steele was taken aback. “Miss Fairy, you know my situation here. I’m worried they won’t be able to handle it…”
“As long as they don’t die, it’s fine,” Fairy interrupted.
“But I have one condition: bring out their full potential as quickly as possible,” Fairy added.
“Are you serious?” Rigel Steele asked again.
“Do I look like I’m joking?” Fairy retorted.
“What about him?” Rigel Steele pointed at Billy out of curiosity and examined him. “Hmm?!” His face showed extreme shock. “Miss Fairy, he…”
“He has nothing to do with you. You can’t train him,” Fairy cut him off.
“Can you tell me who he is?” Rigel Steele asked again.
“His name is Billy. Who do you think he is?” Fairy responded.
“You don’t mean he’s Mr. Billy?” Rigel Steele was stunned. Though he hadn’t seen Billy’s portrait, he had heard of ‘Mr. Billy,’ the new owner of the Nine Dragons Cauldron!
“Congratulations, you guessed right!” Fairy replied. “Alright then, I have other matters to attend to. Take them inside.”
“Miss Fairy, I can take care of the others, but this fat guy…” Rigel Steele pointed at Stout. “He should stay behind.”
“Old Steele, that’s too much!” Stout pouted. “That’s body shaming! Watch out when I get stronger; I’ll come for you!”
Rigel Steele’s mouth twitched. “Little fatty, it’s for your own good. Your physique is special; staying here won’t help you.”
“You think I’m a child? You’re just discriminating against me because I’m fat…” Stout pouted again.
“Stout, follow your big brother,” Fairy interrupted after some thought.
“Alright!” Stout shrugged.
Billy gave some instructions to Casey and the others before flying away with Stout and Fairy. Before leaving, Billy had Stout distribute most of the resources in his storage ring to Casey; these would last them a long time.
“Fairy sister, can I ask you something?” Stout looked at Fairy on the way.
“Go ahead,” Fairy replied.
“Do you know the old master and Boss’s father? Do you know them?” Stout asked.
“You guessed right!” Fairy responded. “I do know them!”
“Really?!” Stout exclaimed. “You really know them?”
Hearing this, Billy’s eyes lit up as well. He had long suspected this, including Sanaa; she probably knew them too. He even suspected that Sanaa’s stay in Silent Ruins was related to the old master. Moreover, when he first met Fairy in the back mountain and encountered the elder who taught him ‘Sky Burial Blade,’ he guessed that elder was also connected to the old master. However, these were just his initial guesses and he wasn’t sure how accurate they were.
“But don’t get too excited; I don’t know their whereabouts,” Fairy added.
