Chapter 2558: Truly Boundless!

The blade of the Sky Burial Blade tore through Peyton Escobar’s attack and continued forward. Peyton’s pupils contracted sharply as he quickly dodged to the side. Despite his speed, the blade still left a deep gash on his waist, exposing bone and causing blood to spurt out.
At the same time, a punch from an opponent in the half-step Extinguishing God Realm landed on Billy without any resistance. However, Billy was already injured, and this punch only sent him flying a hundred feet away without causing further harm.
As Billy prepared to continue his pursuit, he swung the Slaughter Sky blade in a reverse grip. The blade flashed across his opponent’s body, causing their physical form to collapse instantly while their soul fled.
“Die!” Peyton Escobar shouted angrily. As his voice fell, the entire void was filled with howling winds, turbulent waves, and lightning. In the next moment, a powerful air vortex resembling a tornado swept towards Billy, twisting the void into a scene of destruction.
This attack was far more potent than his previous one, clearly one of his trump cards. However, to Peyton’s surprise, Billy suddenly disappeared from sight and could not be detected by spiritual sense.
Not wanting to waste his trump card, Peyton glanced at White Feather nearby and pushed his hand forward. Just as he made his move, a blade flashed behind him, and his head flew into the air with blood spraying out. White Feather easily dodged the attack aimed at him.
“How can you become invisible?” Peyton’s soul stabilized and looked at Billy in shock.
“Surprised?” Billy responded calmly.
“I admit I underestimated you. Next time, you won’t be so lucky!” With that, Peyton’s soul quickly fled.
“Do you think you can escape?” As Billy spoke, Dark Puppet had already given chase. Within moments, a scream echoed from the distance before everything fell silent.
“Billy, we need to find a solution for the Heaven Alliance issue. Otherwise, they will keep coming and each wave will be stronger,” White Feather said to Billy.
“Yes,” Billy nodded thoughtfully. “Let’s first go to Boundless Ruin to find Master Mystery and then figure out how to deal with the Heaven Alliance.”
White Feather was right; this situation couldn’t continue indefinitely. He couldn’t kill all the Heaven Alliance members, nor did he have the strength to do so. If Diego Walter came next time, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
“Alright,” White Feather replied.
After a brief rest, Billy and White Feather continued their journey. As White Feather had mentioned earlier, although they were still a million miles from Boundless Ruin, with Billy’s Space Translocation Art, they reached the city in about an hour.
“Truly boundless!” Billy exclaimed as he looked at the scene before him. The entire city floated in the void, stretching endlessly as if it merged with the distant horizon. He had seen many large cities before, but none compared to Boundless Ruin.
“What you see now is already a smaller version,” White Feather explained. “Countless years ago, before that great power declined, the city was at least twice this size.”
“Alright,” Billy said with a slight twitch of his lips. “Let’s go into the city and find out about Master Mystery.”
With that, they flew towards the city. Soon, they landed on an open space outside the city.
“Billy, your portrait has likely spread here already,” White Feather said as they walked towards the city. “Even if people don’t know you’re the owner of the Nine Dragons Cauldron, news of the Shadow Market incident must have spread. Everyone knows you have the Myriad Treasures Pavilion’s Heaven Book.”
“Shouldn’t you disguise yourself before going in?”
“No need,” Billy smiled faintly. “I can use their mouths to spread my message.”
“You want the old master to hear about you and come looking for you?” White Feather asked.
“Though it’s unlikely, it’s worth a try,” Billy smiled again. “It will also let Miss Fairy and Miss Sanaa know our whereabouts.”
“Alright,” White Feather nodded.
As they spoke, they entered one of the streets. Since this was a lawless zone, the city’s atmosphere was similar to that of the Shadow Market. Most pedestrians concealed their auras, making it difficult for outsiders to gauge their cultivation levels.
The shops on both sides of the street were bustling with people.
“White Feather, have you been to Boundless Ruin before?” Billy asked as they walked.
“No,” White Feather shook his head. “I always followed my master who disdained such chaotic places.”
“I’ve only heard about Boundless Ruin from others; I don’t know much about it myself.”
“I understand,” Billy nodded. “Where should we go now?” White Feather asked.
“Let’s have some tea first,” Billy pointed to a teahouse ahead. “We can gather some information there.”
“Alright,” White Feather agreed.
Soon, they sat by a window in the teahouse.
“What would you like to drink?” a waiter approached them.
“Just some tea,” Billy smiled and handed over ten Purple Gems from his storage ring.
“One is enough,” the waiter said after a moment of surprise.
“I want to ask you some questions; consider this a consultation fee,” Billy smiled again.
“No need for that; just ask what you want to know,” the waiter replied.
“Take it; I don’t lack Purple Gems,” Billy insisted with a smile.
He indeed didn’t lack Purple Gems; the ones he obtained from Cold Ridge were enough for everyone to spend lavishly for a long time.
“Thank you,” the waiter accepted. “What do you want to know?”
“Have you heard of someone called Master Mystery?” Billy asked.
“Master Mystery?” The waiter shook his head after a moment of thought. “Sorry, I’ve never heard of that name.”
“No problem,” Billy continued. “Can you tell me about the power distribution in Boundless Ruin? Who is the strongest?”
“This I know!” The waiter replied. “There are two strongest forces in Boundless Ruin: Cloud Court and Remnant Sect!”
“Remnant Sect?” Billy was surprised. He hadn’t expected Remnant Sect to be based in Boundless Ruin; no wonder they could send out half-step Breaking God Realm experts!
