Chapter 1970: Cooperation

“Lord of Clearwind Town?” The oval-faced woman was momentarily stunned, then a glimmer of light flashed in her eyes as she took a closer look at Leo.
The other five women in white also turned their gazes towards Leo, their bright eyes showing no attempt to hide their interest.
If women on Earth favored men who were tall, rich, and handsome, then on the planet Kepler-22B, women who practiced spiritual cultivation preferred men who were strong, wealthy, and handsome.
Strong meant having powerful cultivation, wealthy meant possessing many Spirit Stones, and handsome was self-explanatory.
“Are you Lord Leo who killed four Spirit Saint level experts of the Bloodsoul Sect?” The oval-faced woman blushed slightly as she asked.
In recent days, news of Leo’s deeds had naturally reached Falling Blossom Palace. After all, Falling Blossom Palace and Bloodsoul Sect were among the three major sects, so they paid close attention to such matters.
“Indeed, I am here to visit Ms. Wright of your Falling Blossom Palace,” Leo said with a smile.
“Mr. Bloomer, please wait a moment while I inform the palace master,” the oval-faced woman said, her face reddening before she turned to notify the palace master.
Shortly after, the oval-faced woman returned and politely said to Leo, “Mr. Bloomer, the palace master invites you up the mountain. Please follow me.”
Led by the oval-faced woman, Leo and Mike channeled their spiritual power and advanced swiftly.
Five or six minutes later, they arrived in front of a majestic hall.
Two women dressed in palace attire and several elders were waiting in front of the hall.
One of the women wore blue palace attire, her hair styled in an elegant bun, exuding a dignified aura with a hint of mild authority between her brows.
The other woman wore white palace attire, her features serene, holding a whisk in her hand, giving off an ethereal impression.
The woman in blue was Gracie Wright, the current palace master of Falling Blossom Palace, while the woman in white was Willow, the vice palace master.
“I didn’t expect him to be so young,” Gracie remarked softly upon seeing the young man before her.
Willow spoke in a calm voice, “Based on the information we have, his talent is no less than Seraphina’s.”
“Seraphina? Since she returned from training in the Azure Dragon Mountains, I’ve felt she’s become somewhat peculiar…” Gracie’s beautiful brows furrowed slightly as she seemed to recall something.
“I wonder what business he has at our Falling Blossom Palace?” one of the elders asked quietly.
Another elder speculated, “It’s likely he’s here seeking cooperation. Starfall Shop is flourishing and recently announced they are looking for franchisees and Spirit Herb suppliers.”
“If that’s the case, it wouldn’t be bad. Since its opening, Starfall Shop has shaken the entire Martial Dynasty. They must need a substantial amount of Spirit Herbs,” the first elder replied.
Seeing people waiting for him in front of the hall from a distance, Leo quickened his pace.
“Lord Leo, it’s an honor to finally meet you. Welcome to our Falling Blossom Palace,” Gracie said with a dignified smile as Leo approached.
On the way there, the oval-faced woman had briefly described the appearances of the palace master and vice palace master to Leo, so he knew that the woman speaking to him was Gracie Wright.
“Ms. Wright, you’re too kind. I apologize for any inconvenience,” Leo responded with a smile and a respectful gesture.
Leo and Mike were then escorted into the grand hall of Falling Blossom Palace. They took their seats as hosts and guests while disciples served fragrant tea.
“Lord Leo, may I ask what brings you to our Falling Blossom Palace?” Gracie asked calmly as she looked at Leo directly.
Leo met her gaze and said straightforwardly, “I am here to seek cooperation with your esteemed palace. Would you be interested in becoming a Spirit Herb supplier for my Starfall Shop?”
Upon hearing this, Gracie exchanged a glance with Willow Green seated beside her.
Since its opening, they had been keeping an eye on Starfall Shop. They had even sent disciples to purchase many pills from there.
After all, both the small Primordial Spirit Pill and large Primordial Spirit Pill were highly beneficial for disciples at the Spirit Master and Spirit General levels within their sect. Given their low prices and high quality, they couldn’t ignore them.
As for Starfall Shop’s announcement three days ago about recruiting Spirit Herb suppliers, Falling Blossom Palace had discussed it but had not yet made a decision.
“Lord Leo, I would like to know at what prices your shop will purchase various Spirit Herbs?” Gracie asked instead of answering directly.
Mike, sitting next to Leo, responded with a respectful gesture, “Ms. Wright, allow me to explain. Our Starfall Shop currently has a high demand for Vitality Herb, Lifeblood Root, Swiftfoot Stem, Quicksilver Leaf, and several other types of Spirit Herbs.”
“These Spirit Herbs can be exchanged for pills. For example, for every five portions of Vitality Herb and Lifeblood Root provided by your sect, you can receive one top-grade small Primordial Spirit Pill from our Starfall Shop.”
Gracie’s eyes lit up immediately.
Willow and the elders present also had their eyes gleaming with interest.
Typically, when ordinary alchemists refine pills, there is always a waste rate. Falling Blossom Palace also had alchemist apprentices.
More experienced alchemist apprentices could usually produce two or three lower or middle-grade small Primordial Spirit Pills from five portions of Vitality Herb and Lifeblood Root. The probability of producing top-grade pills was low.
During their learning process, alchemist apprentices often wasted many Spirit Herbs. Since Falling Blossom Palace did not primarily focus on alchemy, their annual losses in this area were significant.
If they could receive one top-grade small Primordial Spirit Pill for just five portions of Vitality Herb and Lifeblood Root, it would definitely be a worthwhile deal.
Noticing the change in expressions on Gracie and others’ faces, Mike continued, “Of course, if your sect prefers to exchange for Spirit Stones instead of pills, that is also possible. Five Low-Quality Spirit Stones per exchange would be less advantageous than exchanging for pills.”
Gracie and Willow exchanged another glance.
Selling five portions of Vitality Herb and Lifeblood Root for five Low-Quality Spirit Stones was higher than their current selling price of four Low-Quality Spirit Stones.
“Palace Master, this deal is indeed very favorable. With this arrangement, our Falling Blossom Palace’s lower-level disciples would have sufficient pill supplies, significantly boosting our sect’s strength,” Willow conveyed to Gracie through secret voice transmission.
The other elders also expressed their willingness to cooperate with Starfall Shop through secret voice transmission to Gracie.
Gracie gave a barely perceptible nod.
“Elder Mike, how would Vitality Pill and Velocity Pill be exchanged?” Gracie asked without immediately agreeing.
Mike smiled slightly and offered an even more tempting proposition: “The exchange rate is the same as for small Primordial Spirit Pills. Just five portions of refining Spirit Herbs are needed for one top-grade pill.”
Upon hearing this, Gracie, Willow, and all the elders present couldn’t help but be moved.
“Is this true?” Gracie asked seriously with a dignified expression.
It was well known that pills like Vitality Pill and Velocity Pill required intervention from high-level alchemy elders within their sect to achieve even a two or three percent success rate. Moreover, most of these successful pills were lower grade.
