“You just saw it, these ten Ascension Pills will be given to ten of you from the thirty present, who will become Honored Elders of the Lord’s Manor. Only Honored Elders are qualified to take the Ascension Pill,” Leo’s gaze turned sharp.
Hearing Leo’s words, the Cultivators exchanged glances and then cupped their hands and replied, “We will follow the Lord’s arrangements!”
With a wave of his right hand, thirty Spirit Scrolls floated out and hovered in front of the Cultivators.
Leo continued, “Each of you will take one Spirit Scroll. Each scroll is numbered. You will fight in pairs: number one against sixteen, number two against seventeen, and so on. I will select ten people based on your performance in the matches. Begin grabbing the Spirit Scrolls!”
As soon as Leo finished speaking, many eyes lit up with intense fighting spirit.
Immediately, the Cultivators’ spiritual power surged within them as they reached out to grab the Spirit Scrolls from a distance.
After all the Spirit Scrolls were taken, Leo said, “Now, number one and sixteen, step onto the martial stage!”
After Leo left the stage, two powerful auras erupted as two Cultivators appeared on the broad martial stage.
One of the fighters carried a giant axe and had a tall and robust build; the other was a lean old man exuding a strong fire spiritual power.
At Elder Noah’s command, the fierce battle began.
Violet, Holden, Jennifer, and others also arrived at the martial arena, standing behind Leo to watch.
The thirty Cultivators practiced different techniques and had various divine methods and skills.
This level of combat was an excellent learning opportunity for Violet, Holden, and others to understand more about the methods of different Cultivators.
The exciting matches continued until dusk.
Leo directly chose the ten strongest individuals, and the other Cultivators had no complaints.
“You ten can join my Lord’s Manor and become Honored Elders. Each of you will receive an Ascension Pill. Swear your Skybound Oath now,” Leo said solemnly to the selected ten.
“Yes, Lord.” The ten were excited about receiving the Ascension Pill.
Without hesitation, they each took out a drop of their essence blood and drew a Skybound Oath Rune, swearing their oath.
After they finished their oaths, Leo waved his sleeve, and ten jade bottles flew to each of them.
“Thank you, Lord,” they all thanked Leo in unison.
Then they eagerly opened the bottles and took a deep breath of the rich pill fragrance.
“Train well and strive to break through to the Spirit Saint realm soon,” Leo encouraged them.
“Yes, Lord!” The ten Cultivators replied in unison.
One of them carefully put the pill bottle into his Storage Sack and said to Leo, “Lord, I have a Spirit Fruit I wish to offer.”
“Spirit Fruit?” Leo raised an eyebrow. “What kind of Spirit Fruit?”
“This fruit is called Spirit Root Fruit. Anyone without a spiritual cultivation root can develop one three days after consuming it.”
This greatly interested Leo because, except for Violet, Holden and others lacked spiritual roots and couldn’t practice spiritual cultivation techniques.
“How many Spirit Root Fruits do you have?” Leo asked.
The Cultivator replied, “Ten. I am willing to offer them all!”
Although Spirit Root Fruits were not extremely precious, they were relatively rare on the Awakened Continent.
In this Cultivator’s World, not everyone was born with a spiritual cultivation root.
If statistics were made, about one in every hundred people would lack a spiritual cultivation root.
The only solution was to consume Spirit Root Fruits.
Since bringing Holden and others to this world, Leo had been troubled about how to transform them from Martial Cultivators to Cultivators. Now, unexpectedly, someone offered a solution.
Leo gladly accepted this Cultivator’s gesture of goodwill.
“Lord, I have a spiritual cultivation technique I wish to offer!” Another Cultivator followed suit to leave a strong impression on Leo by offering treasures.
“I have one too!”
“And me…”
The other selected Cultivators didn’t want to be left behind. They all wanted to make a good impression on Leo in hopes of receiving more resources in the future.
After Holden and others transitioned into Cultivators, they would naturally need spiritual cultivation techniques. Since the Cultivators were so enthusiastic, Leo accepted their offerings without hesitation.
After the selected ten finished expressing their gratitude, an unselected Cultivator loudly said to Leo, “Lord, I wish to join Lord’s Manor even without receiving an Ascension Pill.”
“Lord, I also wish to join,” another unselected Cultivator quickly added.
“I want to join too…”
The remaining unselected Cultivators weren’t foolish. Since the Lord could produce ten Ascension Pills at once, there would surely be more in the future. Staying in Lord’s Manor meant having a chance to obtain an Ascension Pill eventually.
There were already rumors that the Lord was a Fourth-rank Alchemist who personally refined the Ascension Pills.
Seeing their eagerness, Leo pondered for a moment and then nodded in agreement.
These individuals were either at the lower stage or mid-stage Spirit King realm and were considered valuable assets for Lord’s Manor.
Leo addressed the twenty unselected individuals, “By joining my Lord’s Manor, you can become stewards. If you contribute significantly to the manor, you may also receive an Ascension Pill from me in the future.”
In the end, eighteen of the twenty unselected individuals stayed behind, while only two continued their rogue cultivator lives.
That evening, Leo hosted a banquet to welcome the twenty-eight new members of the manor.
From that day on, Clearwind Town’s Lord’s Manor experienced a qualitative leap in strength.
The next morning.
In the hall of Lord’s Manor.
Only Leo, Violet, Holden, Jennifer, Aimee, Christian, and Ellis were present.
“Leo, did you say we should return to Earth?” Violet asked with her beautiful eyes blinking.
Leo smiled and nodded. “We can gradually bring our disciples here.”
Now that Bloodsoul Sect had been severely weakened by him, they wouldn’t dare trouble him for some time.
The Zratol families wouldn’t oppose him either. Without immediate threats, he could develop Seven Stars Sect into a spiritual cultivation sect in this world.
“Master, are we planning to expand Seven Stars Sect into this Cultivator’s World?” Holden’s eyes lit up.
Leo nodded.
“Hehe, that’s great!” Violet said joyfully.
“Hehe, our future goal is to dominate this Cultivator’s World!” Christian’s eyes gleamed as he laughed.
Martial Dynasty was just a corner of Southern Marches on Awakened Continent. They all believed that one day Seven Stars Sect would stand atop Awakened Continent.
