The other was an elderly man in a blue robe.
“Sir, I apologize for keeping you waiting,” Elliana Turner said with bright eyes upon seeing Leo in his black cloak.
“Miss Turner, it’s fine,” Leo replied in a slightly aged voice.
Elliana Turner introduced Leo to the elderly man. “Sir, this is Master Rodrigo, our alchemy master at Everlasting Trade Association.”
Leo glanced at the man in blue robes.
Master Rodrigo bowed apologetically. “Last time, I was reckless.”
Leo nodded slightly. He had already guessed that this old man was the one who had spied on him during his last visit to buy herbs.
“Sir, are you here to sell or buy items today?” Elliana Turner asked.
“Neither. I am here to commission an auction,” Leo replied.
“What item do you wish to auction?” Elliana Turner asked with interest.
With a wave of his sleeve, two white jade bottles appeared on the table.
“These,” Leo said calmly.
Elliana Turner and Master Rodrigo exchanged glances.
It was clear that these were pill bottles containing Alchemical Pills.
They seemed to realize something and their eyes lit up with excitement.
“Please open them,” Leo said plainly.
Elliana Turner took one bottle and removed the stopper. Master Rodrigo did the same with the other bottle.
As soon as they opened the bottles, a rich fragrance filled the room, overpowering the delicate scent of tea.
Two purple pills with lightning patterns floated out of the jade bottles and hovered three inches above their openings.
Seeing the pills, Elliana Turner and Master Rodrigo were initially stunned before their faces filled with shock.
“Lightning patterns and purple glow…” Master Rodrigo muttered excitedly. “This… this is… Ascension Pill!?”
“Yes, it is Ascension Pill. Have you seen it before?” Leo asked with a nod.
Hearing “Ascension Pill,” Elliana Turner gave Leo a deep look.
A thought crossed her mind: Was last night’s Pill Thunder caused by him?
If these Ascension Pills were indeed made by him, then this mysterious person was at least a Fourth-rank Alchemist…
