Chapter 1822: To That World

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2025-2-5

Today, if he couldn’t kill the old man, not only would he die, but Violet, Holden, and the others would also be killed.
Leo pushed the Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus to its limit, unleashing its icy power. The surface of Bloodtalon thickened with ice crystals.
Bloodtalon had turned into a massive ice sculpture.
The terrifying cold spread from Bloodtalon to Dorian.
Dorian had suffered multiple injuries and was already in a critical state.
Even though he was a mid-stage Spirit Saint, after being pierced by the Purple Radiance, he was at his limit and couldn’t fully resist the extreme cold of the Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus.
Frost quickly formed on Dorian’s body.
Taking advantage of the extreme cold from the Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus holding off Bloodtalon, Leo unleashed his full potential and charged at Dorian with a low roar.
Leo had no choice but to fight desperately; winning meant survival, losing meant death.
In Dorian’s terrified eyes, Leo reached him.
Leo smashed the Nine-Petal Ice-Soul Lotus onto Dorian’s head.
With a crisp “bang,” Dorian was rapidly encased in ice, turning into a human-shaped ice sculpture.
Dorian’s face twisted in agony, his spiritual power surged as he tried to shatter the ice on his body.
At that moment, Dragon Sword appeared in Leo’s other hand.
“Die!!” Leo, bleeding from seven orifices, roared.
Dragon Sword emitted an icy white glow. With a swing of Leo’s right hand, the sword light sliced through Dorian’s neck.
Dorian’s frozen head was severed by Dragon Sword and fell into the sea below.
Blood gushed from Dorian’s neck like a fountain, raining down on Leo.
Leo was covered in both his own blood and Dorian’s, looking like a blood-soaked figure, terrifying to behold.
Dorian, a mid-stage Spirit Saint, was forcefully slain by Leo!
After taking Dorian’s Storage Sack, Leo dove into the sea below.
Two splashes echoed as Leo and Dorian’s body hit the water.
Using the seawater to wash off the blood, Leo resurfaced.
A speedboat quickly approached where Leo had fallen.
“Leo.” Violet’s anxious voice reached Leo’s ears.
Holden and others helped Leo onto the speedboat.
“Leo, are you okay?” Violet asked urgently.
Leo coughed twice and replied hoarsely, “I’m fine, just a bit exhausted. I need some rest.”
Although pale and in poor condition, Leo’s heart finally settled down.
He had finally killed the old man. Killing a Spirit Saint as a Spirit King was incredibly difficult.
“Let’s go back to the sect for some rest,” Leo said, looking up at the spatial rift in the sky.
Dorian’s death would surely be known to Bloodsoul Sect immediately. Next time, it might be Bloodsoul Sect’s master coming through the rift.
Back at Seven Stars Sect, it took Leo several hours to recover from his exhaustion.
That night, instead of dinner, everyone gathered on a grassy field for a barbecue.
Leo, Violet, and others sat around a campfire.
On the grill was a Thunderclap Croc.
The unique aroma of crocodile meat mixed with the scent of spiritual herbs and Spirit Fruit wafted through the night breeze.
Above, a crescent moon hung high, casting cool moonlight.
“Leo, are you leaving for Cultivator’s World tomorrow?” Violet asked with her beautiful eyes blinking.
Leo smiled and nodded. “Yes, for Earth’s safety, I must go there and find a way to hide the spatial rift connecting that world to Earth.”
Leo didn’t wait to break through to Spirit Saint because he now had Timeship.
If he could hide the spatial rift from that world, he could eliminate its threat to Earth fundamentally.
Of course, another important reason was that Leo wanted to find Sophia.
“Leo, come back soon. I want to see it too,” Violet said with a giggle.
“Sect Master, we also want to see the spiritual cultivation world,” Holden and others said curiously.
“If there’s a chance in the future, I’ll take you there,” Leo replied.
They then enjoyed their delicious barbecue.
The next morning, sunlight spilled over the horizon onto the sea surface.
On the deck of a yacht hundreds of meters from the spatial rift, Leo, Violet, Holden, Jennifer, Aimee, Theodore, and others looked up at the sky.
Leo turned to Jennifer and said, “Jennifer, after I leave, let the dark clan elites and Wolf King return.”
“Okay,” Jennifer nodded in agreement.
Leo then addressed everyone. “Step back.”
Everyone stepped back as Leo waved his right hand. A light flashed and a small silver boat appeared before them.
The boat enlarged into a willow leaf boat just big enough for Leo.
With a flash of his figure, Leo stood on the flying boat.
Last night, he had successfully refined Timeship and gained full control over it.
“I’m leaving. Don’t worry. I won’t be gone long,” Leo said with a smile and waved at everyone.
Everyone showed reluctant expressions on their faces.
“Leo, I’ll miss you!” Violet’s beautiful eyes were slightly wet.
Leo gave her a gentle smile.
Under Leo’s control, Timeship flew up, turned into a silver stream of light, and entered the spatial rift.
Passing through the icy world inside the spatial rift, Leo found the time-space tunnel leading to that world.
While traversing the time-space tunnel, Leo felt the terrifying Voidstorm firsthand.
Fortunately, Timeship protected him from most of Voidstorm’s attacks and effects.
Only during the journey did the runes on Timeship dim slightly more.
The time spent in the time-space tunnel wasn’t long; about an hour later, Leo saw a bright light ahead.
“We’re almost at Cultivator’s World!” The sight of light made Leo excited.
Without much thought, Timeship exited the time-space tunnel and entered a bright new world.
