Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of luxury cars roared into view, their engines echoing through the air. From one of the cars stepped a man-none other than Ezra, the former House Lord of the Dragon House.
When Daniel Williams led the Hall of Death army into Star Continent, Ezra had wasted no time switching sides. Betraying Aiden Enyart had earned him Daniel’s trust, and now, Ezra had been entrusted with managing all of the Wizards.
“You’re saying Aiden Enyart went to the airport but then sent you back alone?”
Ezra sat on a lavish sofa in the grand hall, his brows furrowed as he questioned his subordinate.
“Yes,” the subordinate nodded.
Ezra’s frown deepened. “What is Aiden Enyart up to? Could he have started suspecting me? That’s impossible! I’ve played my part perfectly, becoming one of his most trusted confidants. There’s no way he could doubt me.”
He paused for a moment, then sneered. “But it doesn’t matter whether he suspects me or not. Aiden Enyart must die. Once he’s out of the way, the position of Hall Master will be mine. Hahaha…”
Ezra’s laughter filled the hall, his ambition laid bare. For years, he had coveted the Hall Master title. But Aiden Enyart had always had Chris’s support, leaving Ezra with no opportunity to act.
Daniel Williams’s invasion of Star Continent had changed everything. Seizing his chance, Ezra had aligned himself with Daniel, aiming to claim the Hall Master’s throne.
Ezra’s expression turned cold as he barked orders. “Send men to track Aiden Enyart. The moment you find him, kill him!”
“Yes!” The subordinate nodded and quickly left to make the arrangements.
Ezra leaned back, his eyes narrowing dangerously. “Aiden Enyart is just a stray dog now-no longer a threat. The real priority is getting Black Cougar, the House Lord of Cougar House, to submit to me. Once Black Cougar is under my command, no one in the Wizards will dare oppose me.”
Cougar House was the second most powerful of the Wizards’ ten Houses, surpassed only by the Dragon House. Black Cougar’s allegiance was critical to Ezra’s plans.
But much to Ezra’s frustration, Black Cougar had refused to yield despite repeated attempts to win him over. Ezra’s patience had run dry. No matter what, today would be the day Black Cougar submitted-or paid the price.
With that thought, Ezra made his way to the Wizards’ headquarters dungeon.
The dungeon was heavily guarded by Hall of Death soldiers, all armed to the teeth. Nearly a hundred high-ranking Wizards members were imprisoned there, their rebellion crushed.
At the deepest part of the dungeon was a cell holding a burly middle-aged man-Black Cougar himself, the House Lord of Cougar House.
Ezra approached the cell, his gaze cold as he addressed the prisoner. “Black Cougar, have you made up your mind yet? If you pledge your loyalty to me and support my claim as Hall Master, I’ll release you immediately and make you the Wizards’ Deputy Hall Master.”
Black Cougar raised his head and looked at Ezra with disdain. “Ezra, stop dreaming. I am loyal to Master Enyart. I will never submit to you.”
Ezra sneered. “I didn’t expect you to be so loyal to Aiden Enyart. But I wonder how long you can hold out.”
“Guards! Take him out!” Ezra commanded.
Several armed Hall of Death soldiers entered the cell and dragged Black Cougar out.
He was taken to a large hall, his footsteps echoing ominously.
Roar!
Roar!
Roar!
The hall was filled with the terrifying growls of beasts, sending shivers down Black Cougar’s spine.
Inside the hall, dozens of iron cages lined the walls. Each cage held a monstrous creature-a Super Warrior.
The Super Warriors were grotesque, their limbs bound with heavy chains. The stench of filth filled the air, as the cages were littered with their waste.
Black Cougar’s eyes widened in horror. These weren’t ordinary creatures. He recognized them.
These were the same Super Warriors Daniel Williams had unleashed during his invasion, mercilessly slaughtering countless Wizards members. Their existence had been one of the key reasons for the Wizards’ downfall.
Black Cougar turned to Ezra, his voice filled with rage. “Ezra, what are you planning?”
Ezra smirked triumphantly. “Relax, Black Cougar. I’m not going to kill you. Not yet. You’re still useful to me. But while I spare you, I won’t hesitate to kill others. Bring him in!”
At Ezra’s command, a chained man was dragged into the hall.
Black Cougar’s face turned pale. “Johnson!”
The man being dragged in was none other than Johnson, another House Lord of the Wizards.
“Black Cougar!” Johnson cried out, struggling against his restraints.
Ezra waved his hand dismissively. “Enough talk. Throw him in!”
The guards opened one of the cages and shoved Johnson inside.
Black Cougar’s heart sank. “Ezra, what are you doing?!”
Ezra chuckled darkly. “Simple. If you submit to me, I’ll release him. If not… well, you’ll see.”
Black Cougar clenched his fists, his face contorted with anger and despair.
Inside the cage, the Super Warrior’s eyes locked onto Johnson, filled with primal hunger.
Johnson tried to back away, but the confined space left him nowhere to run.
Roar!
The Super Warrior lunged at him with terrifying speed.
“Ahhh!”
Johnson’s screams echoed through the hall, piercing and agonized. Moments later, the hall fell silent.
All that remained of Johnson were blood and torn flesh, staining the ground in a gruesome display.
Black Cougar’s face turned ashen. He had never imagined Ezra could be so ruthless, so willing to butcher his own comrades.
Turning to Ezra, Black Cougar’s eyes burned with hatred.
“Ezra, you monster. These men were your brothers-in-arms! How could you do this to them?”
Ezra laughed coldly. “Don’t look at me like that, Black Cougar. If you don’t submit to me, there will be more deaths-one after another. Their blood will be on your hands.”
Black Cougar gritted his teeth, trembling with rage. “Ezra, I never thought you could be so cruel. These men were loyal members of the Wizards! Even if I die, I will never let you become Hall Master!”
Ezra’s face darkened. “Is that so? Then I’ll slaughter every last one of the Wizards’ leaders. Let’s see how long your stubbornness lasts!”
“You…” Black Cougar was left speechless, consumed by fury.
Ezra burst into triumphant laughter. “I’ll give you one day, Black Cougar. One day to decide. If you still refuse to submit by then, not just you, but every high-ranking member of the Wizards will die at the hands of these Super Warriors.”
