Upon hearing this, Aiden Enyart found the reasoning sound.
He walked over to the men in suits and said, “We won’t need the cars for now. You can leave.”
The men in suits were momentarily stunned but didn’t dare argue. They promptly drove away.
As soon as the vehicles disappeared, Chris made a phone call, instructing Lynx to have someone secretly follow the cars.
After ending the call, Chris turned to Aiden Enyart. “Aiden, let’s head to the Chester Group’s Star Continent branch.”
The Chester Group had a branch in Star Continent, and before arriving, Chris already had the branch prepare accommodations for them.
Aiden nodded and followed Chris without question. For Aiden, Chris was his savior, and whatever Chris said, he would obey unconditionally.

Suddenly, the phone rang. Tiger was calling.
“Master, have you arrived in Star Continent?”
Chris nodded. “I’ve arrived. How are things on your end?”
Tiger replied, “Lynx has begun collecting intelligence. All the Death Guards are on standby and prepared to act at any time.”
“Good,” Chris said with a nod. “In that case, bring the Death Guards here.”
“Understood, Master!”
Chris ended the call and, shortly after, he and Aiden arrived at the Grand Star Continent Hotel.
This hotel had been arranged by the Chester Group’s branch.

Not long after checking in, Chris received a call from Lynx.
Lynx informed him that the vehicles sent to pick them up had gone to the Wizards’ headquarters.
Ending the call, Chris turned to Aiden. “Those cars went to the Wizards’ headquarters.”
Aiden’s expression darkened immediately.
The Wizards’ headquarters was now under Daniel Williams’ control, and if they had taken those cars, they would likely have met a grim fate.
Aiden’s anger was palpable. “I can’t believe it-Ezra, that bastard, dared to betray me!”
Ezra, the Lord of the Dragon House-one of the ten Houses of the Wizards-had once sworn allegiance to Aiden after Chris helped him eliminate the former leader of the Wizards, Ron Jefferson. Ezra had since become one of Aiden’s most trusted subordinates.
When Aiden and Chris returned to Star Continent, Aiden had immediately contacted Ezra to arrange transportation for them.
But Ezra’s betrayal was now clear-he had defected to Daniel Williams.
Chris spoke calmly. “If my guess is correct, Ezra betrayed you long ago. He likely colluded with Daniel Williams, acting as an inside agent to help him attack the Wizards.”
Aiden’s face grew grim.
He had always harbored suspicions. Back when he led an army of fifty thousand against Daniel Williams, the latter deployed Super Warriors that crushed the Wizards’ forces.
The plan had been highly secretive, with only the Lords of the ten Houses privy to it. But now it was clear-Ezra had leaked the plan, allowing Daniel Williams to prepare and unleash the devastating Super Warriors.
Aiden gritted his teeth. “Ezra! I’ll kill him!”
Chris cautioned, “Don’t act rashly for now. Let’s observe the situation first.”
Aiden hesitated but eventually nodded. At this point, with Ezra’s betrayal, he had no one else to trust but Chris.

That night, shadows began to converge silently from all directions toward the hotel.
One shadow slipped into Aiden’s room.
“Who’s there?” Aiden shouted, punching out with full force.
Bang!
The impact sent both figures stumbling back a few steps.
Aiden’s expression turned serious. The intruder’s strength was on par with his own.
Just as Aiden was bracing himself for a fight to the death, Chris entered. “Aiden, don’t move. He’s one of ours.”
Chris turned on the lights, revealing the intruder.
Aiden saw it was none other than Tiger, one of Chris’s trusted men.
Tiger approached Chris and bowed respectfully. “Master, all the Death Guards have arrived and are ready for action!”
As he finished speaking, more Death Guards surged into the room silently, one after another.
Chris nodded with satisfaction. “Good.”
Seeing the Death Guards, Aiden couldn’t help but marvel. “Mr. Shelby, so these are your personal guards, the Death Guards. They truly live up to their reputation-each one of them is a super soldier.”
Having followed Chris for some time, Aiden was well aware of his capabilities and had witnessed the Death Guards’ prowess firsthand.
Now, seeing them in full force, Aiden felt a surge of confidence. With these elite warriors, Daniel Williams’ Super Warriors no longer seemed so terrifying.
Chris turned to Aiden. “Among the Wizards, who else can you trust besides Ezra?”
Aiden thought for a moment. “Peony, the Lord of the Marigold House, is trustworthy. Marigold House is also one of the Wizards’ ten Houses.”
Although most of the Wizards’ leadership had fallen under Daniel Williams’ control, a few had managed to escape. Peony was one of them.
Chris nodded. “Aiden, as the Hall Master, contact Peony. Gather the remaining forces of the Wizards in Star Continent.”
Aiden hesitated. “Mr. Shelby, won’t that risk exposing us?”
Chris smiled faintly. “If we were going to be exposed, it would’ve already happened. Don’t worry. Contact Peony and the others-I have my reasons.”
Though Aiden didn’t understand Chris’ plan, he nodded in agreement.
The Wizards had once been the most powerful faction in Star Continent, boasting over ten Houses and more than 100, 000 members.
Though Daniel Williams had decimated their ranks, many had gone into hiding.
As Hall Master, Aiden’s return would undoubtedly rally many to his cause.
Aiden looked at Chris, his expression serious. “Mr. Shelby, if you help me rebuild the Wizards, my life will be yours from now on.”
Chris’s tone grew somber. “Don’t be too optimistic yet. Daniel Williams’ Super Warriors are not easy to deal with. I can’t guarantee we’ll succeed in rebuilding the Wizards.”
Sigh.
Aiden let out a heavy sigh.
The Super Warriors were the greatest obstacle. Without them, the Wizards would never have suffered such a devastating defeat.

The next day, Aiden left the hotel briefly.
An hour later, he returned.
“Mr. Shelby,” Aiden reported, “I’ve contacted Peony and the others. The Wizards’ remaining forces in Star Continent number around 30, 000. They’re all willing to join me in rebuilding the Wizards. I’ve also reached out to a few people under Daniel Williams’ control. While there aren’t many, they were once my trusted subordinates. I avoided contacting too many people to prevent leaks.”
