When Chris saw the news of Sai Hunter’s death, his face remained expressionless. To him, Sai Hunter’s demise was nothing but the result of his own actions. No one else could be blamed.
However, Sai Hunter’s death would undoubtedly provoke a furious retaliation from the Hunter family.
Chris didn’t fear their revenge, but he knew the Hunter family was the leading force among the four great salt merchant clans. If they chose to strike back, it would be like a violent storm descending.
With Esther by his side, he worried that he might not be able to protect her completely.
With that thought, Chris made a call to Tiger.
“Boss, where are you?” Tiger’s voice was filled with excitement upon receiving the call.
Chris replied calmly, “Tiger, I’m in Riverton. Bring the Guards of Death here immediately.”
“Yes, sir!” Tiger answered without hesitation, fully prepared to obey.
The news of Sai Hunter’s death spread quickly across Riverton, leaving everyone in shock.
Sai Hunter was the son of the Hunter family-who would dare to kill him?
Speculation about the reasons for Sai Hunter’s death ran rampant.
At the same time, a private jet landed at Riverton Airport.
One by one, members of the Guards of Death disembarked. Leading them was none other than Tiger, accompanied by Lynx and Phoenix. Alligator, meanwhile, remained stationed in Middleton and did not join the group.
“Let’s go meet the boss!” Tiger ordered.
Without wasting time, they exited the airport. Outside, a fleet of dark green Humvees awaited them, courtesy of prior arrangements made with the Riverton Governor’s Office.
The engines roared as the vehicles sped away, heading straight to Chris’s villa.
Before long, Tiger and the others arrived.
“Boss!”
“Boss!”
“Boss!”
Each of them greeted Chris with excitement and reverence.
Chris, seeing his loyal men, couldn’t help but smile. Though he had initially intended to keep his identity hidden, the chaos he had caused in Riverton made that impossible.
Since he couldn’t stay in the shadows, he decided to make his presence known boldly, showing everyone that he was back.
“Boss, do you know how hard we searched for you after you disappeared? We couldn’t find a single trace!”
“Exactly! But we always believed you were alive-and here you are, proving us right!”
“Boss, what’s the reason you called us to Riverton this time?”
Tiger and the others had endless things they wanted to say.
Chris smiled faintly and said, “I called you here for an important reason. I killed Sai Hunter, the son of the Hunter family, the most powerful of Riverton’s four great salt merchant clans. Their influence in Riverton is substantial, and I fear that if a conflict ensues, it could plunge the entire city into chaos. That’s why I need you here-to help me deal with the Hunter family.”
“Don’t worry, boss! The Hunter family is no match for us!”
“That’s right! Just give the word, and I’ll lead our men to wipe them out right now!”
“Boss, we’re ready and waiting for your orders!”
Their eagerness was evident. Tiger and the others were itching to eliminate the Hunter family.
Chris laughed and said, “There’s no rush. You’ve just arrived in Riverton-take some time to rest first.”
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Seeing the caller ID, Chris realized it was Ray.
“Ray, what’s the matter?”
“Chris, this is bad! The Hunter family already knows you killed Sai Hunter. They’re preparing for a full-scale retaliation!”
“Is that so? The Hunter family is nothing to me.”
“Chris, don’t underestimate them. The Hunter family is backed by a powerful ally-one that’s not easy to deal with.”
“I understand.”
After hanging up, Chris turned to Tiger and the others.
“Tiger, take the Guards of Death and wipe out the Hunter family today.”
“Yes, sir!”
Tiger and his men nodded firmly, their faces filled with determination and bloodlust.

Meanwhile, in the Hunter family’s grand hall, the atmosphere was heavy.
“Can we confirm that it was Chris who killed Sai Hunter?”
“We’ve investigated thoroughly. On the night of the incident, the young master went to duel Chris at Maple Hills with Blood by his side. There’s no doubt-it was Chris who killed him.”
Hearing this, Jordan Hunter’s face darkened with rage.
Grinding his teeth, he snarled, “Chris dared to kill my grandson. This is unforgivable! Gather every Hunter family fighter. We’re going to kill him ourselves!”
Before he could finish, a voice echoed through the hall.
“Jordan Hunter, no need to come looking for me. I’ve saved you the trouble.”
Everyone turned to see Chris leading Tiger and the Guards of Death into the hall.
“Chris!” Jordan Hunter’s face twisted in shock and fury.
He couldn’t believe Chris had the audacity to invade the Hunter family estate.
“You killed my grandson, and now you dare show up here? You’ve walked straight into hell! You won’t leave alive!”
With a roar, Jordan Hunter summoned his forces.
From all directions, thousands of elite fighters poured into the hall. These were the Hunter family’s most loyal and highly trained warriors, nurtured over decades.
The fighters surrounded Chris and his men, wielding gleaming steel blades, their faces filled with murderous intent.
Jordan Hunter laughed triumphantly.
“Chris, today is your end! You’ll die here, and I’ll avenge my grandson! Attack!”
With his command, the army of Hunter family warriors surged forward.
“Kill!”
“Kill!”
“Kill!”
The hall erupted into chaos as battle cries filled the air.
Chris, however, remained unimpressed.
“Jordan Hunter, do you really think these pitiful fighters can kill me? You’ve underestimated me.”
He turned to Tiger.
“You have half an hour to deal with them.”
“Yes, boss!” Tiger roared, drawing his blade.
“Brothers, charge!”
With a deafening battle cry, the Guards of Death surged forward.
The clash was brutal and merciless.
Chris, standing aside, didn’t bother to lift a finger. These enemies weren’t worth his effort.
Screams echoed as Hunter family fighters fell one by one, unable to withstand the ferocity of the Guards of Death.
Within half an hour, the hall was filled with the bodies of the defeated.
“This… this isn’t possible!” Jordan Hunter stammered, his face pale with disbelief.
He had never imagined that Chris’s forces would be so powerful, capable of wiping out thousands of his best fighters so effortlessly.
These warriors had been the pride of the Hunter family, cultivated over many years. Now, they were gone.
Jordan Hunter coughed up blood, unable to bear the crushing reality of his defeat.
