Chapter 1504: The Fierce Battle with Sai Hunter

Book:The Primus Of The Country Published:2025-2-5

Sean Hunter had offended his wife, and no one-not even the king of heaven himself-could save him now.
Whoosh!
Chris moved with lightning speed, his figure becoming a blur as he dashed forward.
In the blink of an eye, Chris stood in front of Sean Hunter.
“Chris, stop right now!” Sai Hunter shouted furiously, his voice filled with panic as he saw Chris spring into action.
Sai Hunter tried to intervene, but it was already too late.
“Ahhh!”
Sean Hunter let out a blood-curdling scream as Chris stomped down with brutal force. In that instant, Sean’s manhood was destroyed. His face contorted in agony before he fainted from the pain.
“Chris, I’ll kill you!” Sai Hunter roared, his patience completely shattered as he witnessed his brother being crippled before his very eyes.
With a furious cry, Sai swung a fist directly at Chris.
Chris sneered coldly, turning to meet Sai’s blow with one of his own.
Boom!
The two punches collided with a deafening explosion.
“Ahhh!”
Sai Hunter let out another scream as his body was sent flying backward. Meanwhile, Chris stood motionless, as steady as a mountain.
Sai Hunter lifted his head, his gaze filled with disbelief.
That punch… it felt like hitting solid rock. How could this be?
Sai Hunter was no ordinary man; he had reached the early stages of Crescendence, a level of mastery few could match. Yet it was clear now-Chris was even stronger.
Splurt!
Sai Hunter coughed up a mouthful of blood, his face pale.
“Impossible! This is impossible!” he muttered through gritted teeth, his expression a mix of shock and refusal to accept the truth.
Sai’s eyes burned with rage as he glared at Chris. He refused to believe he had been bested. Rising to his feet, he prepared to attack again.
“Chris, what’s going on?”
A calm voice interrupted the tense standoff as Ray approached.
Upon seeing Ray, Sai Hunter’s expression shifted, and he hesitated.
Whoosh!
At that moment, another figure shot through the air toward them.
It was none other than Blood, Sai Hunter’s most powerful subordinate.
Pointing at Chris, Sai Hunter shouted, “Blood, kill him!”
Without saying a word, Blood advanced toward Chris.
Suddenly, Ray stepped in between them.
Ray looked at Blood and scoffed, “The legendary first master of Riverton, Blood. I never thought you’d stoop so low as to become Sai Hunter’s lapdog.”
Then, turning to Sai Hunter, Ray declared, “Sai, Chris is my friend. If you go after him, you’re going after me.”
“Fine, fine, fine!” Sai Hunter laughed grimly, his anger barely contained. “Ray, I’ll give you this one chance. I won’t touch Chris today, but don’t think this is over!”
Sai glared at Chris, venom in his tone. “You crippled my brother, and the Hunter family will never forgive you. Mark my words!”
With that, Sai Hunter stormed off, taking Blood with him.
Chris’s connection to Ray had forced Sai to back down for now. Ray was the eldest son of the Thompson family and had recently passed the Monster Camp assessment. A direct conflict with Ray over Chris would not benefit the Hunter family.
But this retreat didn’t mean Sai had given up.
After Sai left, a few Hunter family bodyguards rushed forward to carry the unconscious Sean Hunter away.
The crowd at the gathering was stunned.
No one could have expected Chris to cripple Sean Hunter right in front of everyone.
Not only that, but he had also injured Sai Hunter.
News of what happened spread quickly, and Chris’s name once again shook all of Riverton.

After the party, Ray approached Chris with a serious expression.
“Chris, you’ve crippled Sean Hunter. Sai Hunter won’t let this go. Sai himself isn’t much of a threat, but you need to be wary of Blood.”
Chris raised an eyebrow. “Is Blood really that strong?”
Ray explained, “Blood was once Riverton’s top master. He offended too many enemies and was eventually saved by Sai Hunter. Since then, he’s been Sai’s loyal dog.
“Also, don’t underestimate the Hunter family. They’re not just one of the four great salt merchant families-they have powerful backing.”
Ray didn’t elaborate further, but Chris already understood. For any of the four great salt merchant families to maintain their status for so long, they had to have strong allies.
It didn’t matter, though. No matter who backed the Hunter family, anyone who crossed Chris wouldn’t escape unscathed.
While Chris hadn’t killed Sean Hunter, crippling him was punishment enough. For a man, losing the ability to live as a man was a fate worse than death.

Later that evening, Chris left the party with Lindsay and Esther.
Esther, who had come to Riverton for this visit, had been given a villa by Lindsay to stay in. The Wind family, after all, was prominent in Riverton, possessing numerous properties throughout the city.
In the villa’s living room, Lindsay looked guilt-ridden.
“Esther, this is all my fault,” she said. “If I hadn’t taken you to the party, none of this would have happened. It’s all because of me!”
Esther smiled gently. “Lindsay, how can you blame yourself? None of this was your fault. No one could’ve predicted things would turn out this way.”
Still, Lindsay’s face darkened with anger. “The Hunter family went too far. To think they’d try to harm us! I’ll tell Grandpa about this!”
But deep down, Lindsay knew that even her grandfather couldn’t do much.
The Hunter family was the leader of the four great salt merchant families. Even the Wind family couldn’t compete with them.
Chris chuckled. “Alright, don’t worry about it anymore. I’ve already dealt with Sean Hunter. If the Hunter family causes you trouble again, I’ll handle it.”
“Chris!”
Suddenly, Esther couldn’t hold back her emotions any longer. She threw herself into Chris’s arms, tears streaming down her face.
“You bastard! You disappeared for so long and didn’t even come to see me. Do I not matter to you anymore?”
Chris gently patted Esther’s back, comforting her. “I’m sorry. It’s all my fault. I made you worry. But I promise, from now on, I’ll never leave you again. I’ll stay by your side and protect you.”
“Really?” Esther nodded, tears still falling, but her face softened.
Standing to the side, Lindsay watched the scene silently, her expression complicated. A faint bitterness curled her lips.
Ring ring!
Suddenly, Chris’s phone rang.
He glanced at the screen-it was Ray.
