Reiner – Ready to be His Bride Again

The weather was just perfect, and I could imagine how beautiful the church would be with the natural light shining in from above. Despite Reiner’s teasing that we were going to be late, we arrived at the church roughly on time. The staff team and our stylists were already there to greet us. Queen’s friend and her team did an outstanding job in helping me organize everything the way that I wanted.
“We still have some time before you need to do your make up and all that. What about you walk around and check on things. The flower and decorations look amazing even if I do say so myself,” Queen’s friend said proudly.
I could tell that she was right even before I took a step into the small church. The flowers decorating the entry way to the church was exactly the color that I had wanted. A combination of orange, blush pink, and red coupled with deep green leaves. All those warm tone colors were colors of the sunset that I loved, and the color somewhat matches with the color that Reiner told me was his favorite. I wasn’t sure if he remembers, though.
“Wow! This is just amazing…” I exclaimed in awe when we were finally led into the church.
When I talked to the organizer about the flower decorations, I gave them rough guidelines on the colors that I wanted, some style reference photos and locations of where I wanted the decoration inside of the church. The result of that was beyond amazing. The size of the church made it easier to decorate and the team did an outstanding job of transforming the area in front of the altar into a mini flower field of warm tone flowers. There were also flowers along the aisle just like I had envisioned. Overall, there wasn’t too many flowers to make it messy and the colors really did stand out in contrast to the simple white color of the church’s interior.
“Was this what you had in mind?” Reiner asked casually as he looked around.
“Yes. Do you like it?” I asked with a bright smile.
Reiner turned and returned my smile before he nodded.
“Sorry to break you two lovebirds up but it’s time for both of you to start getting dressed,” Queen said firmly.
When did she get here?
“I’ll help you, Natalia,” Queen quickly suggested as she pulled on my arm and began leading me away.
Reiner smiled and waved a hand at me as I was being pulled away towards the dressing room. I felt butterflies fluttering in the pit of my stomach when I thought that the next time that I see Reiner, I’ll probably be walking down the aisle of the church towards him. Because no one from my family was present at the wedding and I didn’t want to bother King in walking me down the aisle, I decided to simply brave the entire walk alone. It would just make me feel uncomfortable and slightly intimidated to have King by my side. After all this time, I was still quite scared of being close or alone with King although I had married his son and have spent some time living under the same roof as him.
Just like the church, the room at the back that we decide to use as dressing rooms were small. However, there was just enough room to fit myself and the key members of the team in there. Queen sat on a close by chair to where I was seated as she shared small talk of random thing to entertain me while I had my face make up and my hair done.
“Are you sure that you don’t have a look in mind?” the make up artist asked again to make sure.
“That’s right. I guess anything not too flashy and something that goes well with the dress would do,” I replied before nodding firmly at her.
“Alright then. What about your hair?” the hair stylist asked as she lifted up a lock of my hair.
“Anything that goes well with the dress would do, I think…” I replied honestly.
“Up or down,” she asked as she held my hair up to show me what I looked like with my hair up in the mirror.
“What would you recommend to match the dress?” I asked.
“I would say up. I don’t know, but personally, I find that having your hair up makes it seem like a more special occasion than leaving it down,” the hair stylist voiced her opinion.
“Let’s have it up then,” I replied without hesitation.
“Alright then, please turn this way a little and close your eyes,” the make up artist said.
I didn’t have the time to be bored at all during the entire process because Queen happily chatted away while the make up artist narrated every single step about what she was doing to my face. While all of that was going on, the hair stylist was busy pulling on my hair as she was putting my hair up into a stylish bun.

“All done now. Let’s see how you like this,” the make up artist said excitedly.
I opened my eyes and stared at myself in the mirror with widened eyes as I leaned even closer to the mirror.
“Wow…I look so beautiful!” I exclaimed with confidence.
“You really do,” Queen quickly agreed.
I wasn’t just saying it because I was overly confident in my looks but the make up and the hair really did look great. The soft pink and rose gold make up tones truly brought out the glow of my skin and the roundness of my eyes. The hair stylist had curled my hair before piling it up into a stylish bun on the top of my head. The effect made my neck look longer and slimmer. She also skillfully left a wonderfully curled lock of hair to one side of my cheek to make the entire look dreamier.
“Thank you so much. I feel so ready for the wedding already,” I said with confidence before I smiled at them.
“Not yet. You don’t even have your wedding dress on yet. You’ll look more like a princess after wearing it for sure,” Queen said cheerfully.
