Damian slowly got up from his chair, letting go of Aurora’s hand. He felt angry, regretful, and desperate. He needed to think and couldn’t stay there forever, even though he wanted to. He had to make plans for when Aurora woke up if she woke up.
He quietly left the hospital room, his mind racing as he walked down the empty halls. He felt very alone, and guilt weighed heavily on him. It was his fault that Aurora was in a coma because of what he did. He clenched his fists as he reached the elevator, slamming the button to go down to the parking garage. His heart raced with anger as he walked away from her bedside. He hated himself for letting things get this bad.
When the elevator arrived, he stepped out and headed to his car, hardly noticing anything around him as he drove home. His house, which used to feel safe and comforting, now felt empty and cold. He thought he could control everything, but he was wrong.
Damian slammed his car door shut and walked inside, ignoring the luxury of the house that no longer mattered to him. Everything felt pointless. The power, the money, and the control hadn’t made him a better man, and now he was about to lose the only woman he truly cared about.
The silence of the house felt heavy as he walked through the rooms, shaking with regret. He remembered how he had met Aurora and how he had hurt her. Now she was fighting for her life because of him.
Damian ran a hand through his hair, angry at himself. He had been blind to who Aurora really was. He thought he could control her, but he had underestimated her strength. She had fought back, and now she was in the hospital because of him.
He paced in his living room, thinking about Lucas, the man who had pushed Aurora to this point. Lucas had hurt her badly, and Damian wanted revenge. He took out his phone and called his trusted ally.
“Find Lucas,” Damian said. “I want him now.”
His ally agreed and promised to track Lucas down. Damian hung up, focused on what he needed to do. He would make sure Lucas felt the pain he caused. Aurora was his, and he wouldn’t let anyone take her from him again.
He then thought about Aurora and felt a mix of regret and hope. He had been so sure of himself before, but now he just wanted her to wake up and give him another chance. He went to the window, looking out into the night, feeling distant from the world. But inside, he was filled with a need for revenge and redemption. He had hurt Aurora, and now he wanted to make it right.
He didn’t know if she would ever forgive him, but he had to try. He wanted to show her he could be better and protect her. He turned away from the window, more determined than ever to get rid of Lucas. He would be there for Aurora when she woke up and show her how sorry he was.
As he sat at his desk, writing down his plans, Damian promised himself he would never be the man he once was. He would change for Aurora and their child. But right now, he just needed to focus on getting Lucas. He was going to fight for Aurora and make sure no one hurt her again.
Damian sat in the dark room, knowing he couldn’t change the past but could change the future. He would show Aurora the man he could truly be when she woke up.
