lina’s plotting

Lina stormed into her guest room, slamming the door behind her with enough force to make the walls tremble. She threw her robe onto the floor, muttering angrily under her breath as she walked toward the bed. The luxurious room, with its golden curtains and soft, velvet bedding, was supposed to feel like a place of comfort, but Lina couldn’t shake the fury boiling inside her.
She sat on the edge of the bed, her mind racing. She clenched her fists, her perfectly manicured nails digging into her palms. “That girl,” she hissed, her voice laced with venom. “That stupid, arrogant girl!”
Lina couldn’t believe what had happened earlier. Aurora, a mere maid no, not even that anymore had dared to slap her not once but twice. Twice! And in front of everyone. The maids, Damian, everyone had seen it. And to make it worse, Damian hadn’t even defended her. He had laughed. Laughed!
Her chest heaved as the memories replayed in her head. She leaned back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, trying to calm the storm inside her. But the more she thought about Aurora, the angrier she became.
“She’s bold, too bold,” Lina muttered. “And that’s going to be a problem.”
Lina’s Thoughts
Lina wasn’t used to being challenged. Her life had always been one of control, of getting what she wanted without question. But Aurora was different. Aurora didn’t cower in fear or try to win favor. Instead, she fought back, standing up to her without hesitation.
“This girl isn’t like the others,” Lina whispered, her lips curling into a sneer. “She doesn’t care who I am or what I can do. That makes her dangerous.”
Lina sat up, her mind spinning as she tried to think of a way to handle the situation. It was clear Aurora wouldn’t back down easily. She was strong-willed and fearless, and worst of all, Damian seemed to like that about her.
Lina’s stomach churned at the thought. She had seen the way Damian looked at Aurora. There was something in his eyes something soft, something Lina had never seen directed at her. And when Aurora slapped her, Damian hadn’t rushed to defend her honor. No, he had just stood there, watching with amusement.
“He’s already under her spell,” Lina muttered, shaking her head. “But I won’t let this happen. Damian is mine. He has to be. His father said so.”
**** A Plan Begins to Form ****
Lina stood and paced the room, with her bare foot against the marble floor. She needed a plan, something to put Aurora in her place. But it couldn’t be something obvious. No, she had to be smart about this.
“She thinks she’s so tough,” Lina said, smirking to herself. “Let’s see how tough she is when she’s completely alone.”
An idea began to form in Lina’s mind. She would isolate Aurora, make her feel small and powerless. Maybe she could turn the maids against her or spread rumors to ruin her reputation. And if that didn’t work, well, there were other ways to get rid of someone.
Lina walked over to the mirror, staring at her reflection. She adjusted her hair, her lips curling into a smug smile. “You’ve dealt with worse than this,” she told herself. “She’s just a girl. She won’t stand a chance against you.”
**** The Competition ****
But deep down, Lina couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling that Aurora was more than just a bold girl. There was something about her, something Lina couldn’t quite put her finger on. It wasn’t just her confidence or her refusal to back down it was the way Damian reacted to her.
Lina bit her lip, her chest tightening. She had worked too hard to get here. She wasn’t about to let some nobody come between her and what she deserved. Damian was supposed to be hers. His wealth, his power, his name it was all meant for her.
“This isn’t over,” Lina said, her voice low and determined. “Not by a long shot.”
***** A Restless Night *****
As the hours passed, Lina continued to plan, her mind running through every possible scenario. She thought about confronting Aurora again, but she knew that would only make things worse. Aurora wasn’t afraid of her, and any direct attack would likely backfire.
No, Lina needed to be subtle. She needed to play the long game. And she needed allies.
Her thoughts turned to Damian’s father. He was powerful, ruthless, and clearly disliked Aurora. Maybe she could use that to her advantage. If she could convince him to take action against Aurora, it would save her the trouble.
But then there was Damian. He was the wild card, the unpredictable factor in all of this. Lina knew he wasn’t like his father. He had a softness to him, something that made him different. And that softness was what made him vulnerable to Aurora.
Lina sighed, running a hand through her hair. “I need to figure out how to get him back on my side,” she muttered. “Before it’s too late.”
Determined to Win
By the time morning came, Lina was more determined than ever. She had spent the entire night strategizing, going over every detail in her mind. She wasn’t going to let Aurora win. Not now, not ever.
As she stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her outfit and applying a fresh coat of lipstick, she smiled to herself. “This is war,” she said softly. “And I don’t lose wars.”
With that, Lina grabbed her purse and headed downstairs, her head held high and her mind set on one thing: destroying Aurora, no matter what it took.
