Lex’s Pov
The moment I saw Seraphina in Raven’s home, I knew something was up in her sleeves. I had come over to take a nap in their home since Raven had agreed to meet Tessy but not fuck her over.
I loved the way Raven’s mum treated me like I was just her son and not just an Alpha with authority and being so informal, I was relaxed around her and welcomed too until I sensed her presence and got up to listen.
Xander couldn’t stop cussing me for hurting his mate and I’ve felt like shit ever since, letting him call me names because why the fuck will I even kiss someone that’s not Lilia!
I was fucking stupid!!

I grabbed her arms harshly and led her outside knowing all she spewed to the broken woman was all lies. I didn’t even know where Lilia was.
“Who the fuck sent you?” I growled and glared at her like a stranger and she avoided my gaze.
“When I ask a question, I demand an answer!” I yelled and her body shook.
“Fine Alex, I was lying! Are you going to punish me now or send me to the dungeon? Of course, I’m not Lilia so you might even do worse to prove how much you hate me right now!” She yelled back at me and I got extremely angry.
“You know that this is a punishable offense right? I don’t need to give you a punishment before Miss Brickwood reports to her son and he takes action as the pack Beta! If you’re going to be dramatic and let the whole pack know what you did, then I’ll fucking push you to the crowd without stopping It!” I spat out in anger and she suddenly burst out in tears.
” You don’t want me, you don’t also want me to be with another! Why are you so selfish Alex?” She pushed me aggressively and my eyes narrowed.
“What do you mean by that?’
“I want Raven!” She yelled and I scoffed..
“You left me high and dry, thinking I’m a Lifeless stick huh? All I wanted was to seduce and fuck Raven?”
I chuckled at her words and couldn’t help but laugh.
“You think my Beta would look at you twice after throwing such a lie to him? Why are you being so pathetic and what’s that silly color in your eyes?” I asked and she turned her back on me, feeling uneasy.
“Just leave me alone Alex, destroying my life and trampling on my love for you is already more than enough!” She yelled and for the first time in our conversation, I didn’t feel any damn guilt in me but spoke coldly to her.
” I don’t care about your fuck interests with my Beta or anyone but don’t you ever lie about my mate, not in this present situation nor the future!” I spat out and went back inside only to See Jay seated in the living room and as usual, the lively woman felt excited and entertained him wholeheartedly.
“Why are you here? Feeling bored of Raven already?”
“Don’t talk to me like that idiot, Raven asked me to tell you that Lilia is in Russia.” Everything stopped moment aside from the constant repetition of Jackson’s words in my brain.
“How on earth?” I asked and went outside as I didn’t want Raven’s mum to listen.
“Your asshole of a brother sent her there and he was on his way to visit her because information was passed that she was at her uncle’s place.”
My head was spinning to process the information poured out on me. All I could see was red rage because Felix was the only mastermind behind all this bullshit, a call came through from the company and I picked it up.
“Hello Boss, we got an impromptu call from your Right-hand man asking for a private jet to Russia, is it okay if I”
“You’re fucking fired for asking me such a stupid question! What Raven wants, give it to him in triple folds!!” I yelled at and cut the call feeling extremely agitated.
“I’m going to kill Felix! I swear , that motherfucker has messed with my existence!”
I took the car keys to drive when Jackson stopped me.
“I’ll drive, I’m not ready to die, just try to see if we can track Lilia.”
I can’t do shit, I couldn’t trace my Luna and I’ve never been so helpless in my life.
I just wanted to leave for Russia instantly, I sent my other associates connected to the country to look into it when I saw a notification that was a must-watch
Clicking on it shook my body and made Xander growl at the sight of his mate on the screen.
What Lilia said or did was the best thing I ever thought of because we were not going to be the only ones fighting for her now, the whole world was going to stand by her and protect her.

“Lex?” Her voice shook my walls as I turned to stare at her, her eyes were welled with tears and I took hasty steps to meet her.
I’ve been dying to hear her, that I resort to playing with hair and caressing her cheeks to wake her up even though it was so selfish of me.
“Lex…I…I’m..”
I kissed her before she could say anything and made her lie back. I kissed my frustrations out and a moan escaped her lips.
It was a sensual soft kiss that broke all my inner resolve, I missed her so much that it hurts so fucking much. I devour her lips, sucked and almost wanted to chew them and swallow her if that would stop my body from shaking. She returned the same intensity kissing me like her life line and I broke into tiny pieces of emotions.
Goddess! How did I let anything hurt her?
“I’m sorry..” I sighed between her lips and she hugged me tightly.
“I’m relieved you’re here, where’s Raven?”
I licked her tears off and smiled.
“He went to take care of something, you’re mine for now.. throughout.”
