Contracted to the wrong Alpha
Chapter 26
***
Lex’s Pov
She looked more peaceful when she slept, her long natural lashes were closed and her mouth was slightly parted beautifully making me want to delve in my tongue again.
The Ritual was a success without the intervention of Alveria and Jax, we got accepted, crowned, and purified with the Oil of Bond.
All this was not supposed to happen since all of this is just for a while but I guess I can’t skip the normal procedure that has always been the landmark heritage for millennia.
My Father was surprised, and Felix was shocked that I wanted to arrive in New York that same night but I knew why I badly wanted to leave.
I could mask it all with an excuse of saying that I had some business to attend to but deep down I wanted Lilia to be out of the Pack.
I didn’t want to find myself in a compromised situation where I’d have to choose between satisfying my Pack by saving her or watching Jax get all possessive with her.
They knew each other, it was evident from the way she chatted and smiled like old-time friends which caused a tight stinging pain at the sides of my ribs.
I don’t have to like anyone but he was crossing boundaries. She was making me ask myself if I was so despicable for her not to spare a light attitude to me. All I could see was deep burning hatred at the mere sight of seeing me.
Lilia is going to be mine till further notice and if I see any other person with her, it’s going to be Blood.
But again, I had to avoid her.
She was bringing out a personality I never knew existed in me, I was nervous as shit when Jax wanted to force words out of her mouth and I knew what she would have said. She would have denied me without a blink.
The whole pack wouldn’t have accepted the fact that I was forcing myself on her, fuck!!
I can’t believe I’m acknowledging that right now.
They would have preferred their Alpha to get married to a sweet humble girl who would submit to anything.
I hated the fact that Lilia saw me as a disgusting pig drenched in mud or as a demon who would devour her soul.
I hated the fact that I was beginning to get affected by the realization that she disliked me, I hated that I wanted her to smile at me the same way she did to Jax, or to tell me to stay the same manner she told Jax.
I let out a sigh and rubbed my face in disbelief. I’m fucking crazy right now.
I know and I don’t know if it’s Xander that’s bringing out this silly hormone in me. I’ve never felt this way since Seraphina and I promised to let it remain that way.
But fuck my actions.
I kissed her again and it felt so good.
This is not good and as much as I had the power to send her away from me now and avoid her, I can’t.
That would make her happy and stomp on my ego.
A lady shouldn’t reject me. I call the shots.
They long for me, lust after me, and beg to be with me while I use and trash them when I’m done.
I thought it was the same for Lilia when I saw her at the club. The way she gave in so easily and clawed unto me like her life support, was it the way she moaned at every thrust and
No, I shouldn’t think about that night again. Not with her sitting so close to me with her gown ridden up to expose her milky lap. I might disgrace myself by getting a hard-on.
“We are here boss,” Raven said and I was surprised at how fast it was.
“Okay,” I nodded and removed my seatbelt to slide down the window of the car.
We were on the tarmac and the jet was just miles away from where we were packed.
I took a sharp glance at her and turned to Raven.
“Wake her up and let her come outside,” I ordered and he nodded while I stepped out of the car.
The air was windy, and cold, and smelt nice as my shirt flapped freely.
Lilia came out, looking sleepy as she let out a loud yawn in response, her gaze went to the jet afar off and she didn’t waver, nor flinch which pissed me and made my face fall.
That was the most luxurious Jet I had and
I was expecting her to be wowed and amazed as other ladies would be but it wasn’t the case for her.
“Why are we standing here if we are using that?” She asked me plainly as if this wouldn’t be the first time using a jet and I bit my lips, disappointedly.
“Let’s go,” I told her curtly and she was quicker than me with a hastened step as if she couldn’t wait to return back to her sleep on the jet.
The hostesses greeted her warmly and focused all attention on me with seductive glances and numerous questions.
“Would you like anything else, Mr Fernandez?” The blonde lady with a wide hip, short red skirt that stopped dangerously high above her knees asked me.
Her boobs were almost spilling from the white shirt she wore and her name tag, Elisa was tacked to the left side of her breasts.
If only Lilia wasn’t in the cockpit with me, I would have fucked her by the corner of that chair and asked her to be replaced immediately. Women tend to get feelings when they have sex with me and my eyes flickered to Lilia whose eyes were shot and not bothered about whatever in the world was happening.
Every woman but not her, she turned into a tigress Instead.
“I’m fine Elisa, I just want to leave here,” I told her curtly and she managed to mask her embarrassed smile. We were all set and comfortable when my phone rang again.
“Hey Felix?” I drew his name boredly.
“Are you at the airport already?” He asked me and I shook my head.
“I’m not using my Jet. Dad and Mum can come tomorrow, don’t let them stress themselves.”
“It’s not about whether Dad would come or not, Alveria is saying that you’re supposed to be with your people and not with folks in New York.” He said and my blood boiled.
“I can’t, Dad knows it. I can manage the Pack wherever I am, Raven would help and my gamma is there.” I told him and besides I was being careful for Lilia too. I didn’t want a repeat of what happened to her.
“She’s not buying that shit and you know Dad listened to her words..”
He said and I bit back a sigh.
Of course I know, I practically listen to everything Alveria says too.
“Look, do me a favor and babysit Lilia in my Villa. I’ll round up some paperwork and make things straight for the pack.”
I told him and he hummed, we talked about some irrelevant things and the flight took off.
In a space of two hours, we arrived at the bustling city with sparkles of streetlights and different cars arrived to pick us up.
I went to where the limousine was parked and Raven walked with her to the other Porche car when she stopped.
“Why are we using different cars?” she asked curiously.
“Our destination is different,” I replied curtly and she frowned, tucking the strands of her gold-brown hair.
“I don’t understand, do you have somewhere else to go?” She asked and I sighed in frustration.
“No, I’m going home and you’re going home. We are staying in different apartments!”
