Depositing her on the bed, Alexander hovered over her, watching her with pure ecstasy and admiration reflected in his eyes. “Do you still think that I would cook for any other woman?”
Eva smiled and shook her head.
“You’re the only one in my life I want to pamper! The only one I live for. It’s always been this way for the last ten years of my life! No one can take the place you hold in my heart, Eva. My love for you is eternal!”
Eva cupped his cheek while tears pooled in her eyes. “I know, Alexander! I love you back in the same way!” He gently kissed the tears away before they could trickle down her cheeks, making her smile.
“I don’t want you to cry, baby! We will always be happy from now on, no matter what!”
“These are happy tears, Alexander!” she murmured, but still wiped her eyes dry.
“Smile if you’re happy. I can’t see you crying! You’ve cried enough, but not anymore. Promise me you’ll always smile no matter what!” he insisted, his eyes searching hers as if it were the most important promise ever. He held his hand out, eagerly waiting for her reply.
“I promise, Alexander!” She placed her hand in his and he held it up and kissed her knuckles, slowly.
“Good! If you’re happy, you stay fit.” Eva smiled, realizing it was true! How did she never notice it before? There was a direct connection between her happiness and her health. “I can’t see you lie in a hospital, Eva.”
“I understand now, Alexander. I’ll always be happy, no matter what life brings our way.” Alexander leaned forward and kissed her forehead, her nose, her cheeks, her chin, and her jawline and then gave her lips a desire-filled glance. Eva frowned at seeing him stare at her instead of claiming her lips. How did he miss her lips?
“And?” she prompted him while he laughed.
“And what? Tell me what you want!” From the way his eyes twinkled with amusement, it was clear that he knew how much she wanted him.
“You, all of you!” He caught her hands and slowly pinned them over her head, his eyes watching her like she was the most delicious dinner rather than the one he had eaten earlier. His mouth captured hers in a hungry kiss, plunging deep inside and plundering her sweetness. Eva kissed him back, matching his passion with equal fervor, biting his lips till he groaned with need.
Pulling back and breathing hard, he pulled the clothes off her body in an urgency that made her skin crawl with a need to do the same to him. She took off his immediately, leaving both of them bare in each other’s arms.
“Would you prefer my hand or mouth?” he asked teasingly, making her roll her eyes.

“Mmm, this is sensational! I can have the full thing myself! No wonder Alyssa loved it so much.” She licked her fingers, the fork, the spoon, and the plate too, making Alexander chuckle and serve her more.
“Why aren’t you having it?” She frowned at seeing his crepes drizzled only with maple syrup.
“I told you I want to have it differently.” Eva gaped at him, wondering what he meant.
“Differently? How can you have it differently?” Alexander chuckled and rolled his eyes at her naivety.
“Your licking spree has put other ideas in my head!” Eva’s jaws dropped as realization dawned in.
“Oh, no! I’m not allowing that sticky thing on my body!” she gasped, her cheeks coloring at the thought.
“Oh yes! I want payment for my hard work!” They argued playfully over breakfast till Eva finally had to give in to her headstrong husband. He wasn’t taking no for an answer!
“Good girl! I’ll take you on a cruise around the Mystic River.” That did the trick, and Eva willingly lay on the large leather sofa in the living room while Alexander went to fetch his creation. It was something she hadn’t heard of in her twenty-two years of life and waited anxiously for him.
“Relax, it’s just your favorite sauce. You can slather it on my di*k for you to lick it off.” Eva’s eyes widened, and she shook her head nervously.
“No, thanks. I can’t even imagine myself doing that!” Alexander chuckled at her nervousness as he lay her down gently and slowly took off their clothes in haste. Next, he slathered her breasts with the sauce while Eva giggled, feeling ticklish. He licked all of it ravenously, making her clutch at his head and moan deliriously. He kept his promise and after an hour; they were aboard a private wooden vessel to cruise around in the picturesque Mystic River. The captain was very informative, and the tour was quite relaxing. Alexander had been thoughtful enough to bring some refreshments since Eva felt exceptionally hungry and thirsty throughout the 90-minute ride.
Afterwards, they walked around hand-in-hand, shopping for mementos, not in any hurry to get anywhere. Alexander treated her to a delightful lunch at a riverside restaurant and they finally drove over to their little cottage.
Although Alexander enjoyed it immensely with Eva, he knew he couldn’t escape reality for long. He had to switch on his phone and find out what exactly happened at Beatrix’s wedding! He had to find out about his parents and about his sister. Soon, he needed to call Ashton and take an update before returning home. Maybe he would, after enjoying a few days more!
