“I admit you’re quite strong, but you will still die by my hand,” Saul said firmly.
Saul summoned a blood-red spear into his right hand. Leo noticed the spear had faint golden patterns on its shaft and deep blood grooves on its tip, making it look menacing and bloody. This spear was Saul’s spiritual weapon, named Soulstealer.
Leo sneered, not wasting words with Saul. He gripped the Dragon Sword and charged forward. In the sky, every clash between Thunderstrike and Soulstealer erupted with massive waves of energy, as if the sky had been shaken.
In the blink of an eye, they exchanged dozens of blows, each strike sending out ripples of energy. After another round, Saul let out a shout, channeling his spiritual power into Soulstealer.
The spear burst into a sky-high blood-red light, forming a beast within the glow. The beast had horns on its head and a lion-like face, resembling an ancient creature.
The beast opened its massive mouth within the blood-red light, letting out a domineering and bloody roar. Saul’s eyes filled with intense killing intent as he thrust Soulstealer towards Leo. Simultaneously, the beast in the blood-red light roared and charged at Leo.
Leo’s Dragon Sword crackled with lightning, its blade glowing brightly as it emitted a clear dragon’s roar. A five-clawed golden dragon appeared within Thunderstrike. Leo gripped his sword with both hands and slashed violently at Saul. The golden dragon and the beast transformed into two massive streams of light, one red and one gold, colliding in mid-air.
With a thunderous explosion, the golden light pierced through the red light of the beast. In the next moment, both lights exploded, forcing Leo and Saul to retreat under the immense impact. Leo steadied himself after retreating five or six steps, while Saul took over ten steps back.
“You are no match for me. Since you dared to come here, you will stay forever,” Leo declared, standing proudly with Dragon Sword in hand, a cold smile curling at his lips.
Opposite him, Saul’s face turned extremely grim. As a genius disciple of the Bloodsoul Sect, Saul was proud and confident in his strength. But now, he found himself at a disadvantage against a cultivator from a lower world, which was unacceptable to him.
Saul remained silent as powerful killing intent erupted from within him. He quickly formed seals with his hands, releasing a strange crimson aura that surged out of his body. Within moments, the sky within a hundred meters around Saul was filled with the crimson aura, resembling a red cloud when viewed from the ground.
Saul’s figure vanished within the red cloud. As Leo remained on high alert, the red cloud churned violently, emitting a terrifying wave as if something dreadful was brewing inside. Soon, the red cloud thinned and then disappeared.
Leo, who had been watching the cloud closely, showed a hint of surprise. He had expected a powerful attack but instead saw ten identical Sauls appear as the cloud dissipated. Clearly, Saul had used some secret technique to create nine clones.
Leo released his spiritual sense to scan the ten Sauls but was shocked to find he couldn’t distinguish the real one. “To be honest, even Spirit Saint experts can’t tell my true body apart; you have no chance,” all ten Sauls said simultaneously, their mocking expressions identical.
The ten Sauls surrounded Leo in a circle. Observing from the side, Lawson and Tristen both showed surprised expressions. “I didn’t expect Saul to use Shadow Clone so quickly,” Lawson thought to himself.
Shadow Clone was Saul’s signature technique and a top-tier skill of the Bloodsoul Sect. Lawson knew that using Shadow Clone allowed Saul to challenge even Spirit Saint experts.
The ten Sauls spoke again: “As a cultivator from a lower world, you should feel proud to die under my Shadow Clone.”
With that, all ten Sauls pointed their Soulstealers at Leo. Leo could clearly sense that there was no difference between the ten spears. Seeing Leo’s astonished expression, Saul sneered: “It’s impossible to find flaws in my weapons; Soulstealer is a set of ten identical spears!”
“Now you can die.” The ten Sauls charged at Leo simultaneously with their Soulstealers. Facing this coordinated attack, Leo’s expression turned serious. He gripped Dragon Sword tightly and fully unleashed his Mysterious Heaven Body Technique to dodge while counterattacking.
Despite his efforts, Leo soon felt overwhelmed by the combined assault of ten identical Sauls. He pushed his spiritual power to its limits, increasing his speed to an extreme level while wielding Dragon Sword in an impenetrable defense.
Thunderstrike and the blood-red spear shadows intertwined in the sky, creating intense waves of energy. In this one-against-ten battle against equally powerful opponents, Leo managed to hold on for three minutes before falling behind.
One of Saul’s clones found an opening in Leo’s defense and thrust its spear towards his heart. In desperation, Leo dodged to the side. The spear’s tip tore through his clothes, exposing his skin underneath.
Without giving Leo any chance to catch his breath, the ten Sauls intensified their attacks. Leo had no choice but to leap upward and temporarily escape the encirclement.
The ten Sauls paused their assault and looked up at Leo with cold eyes. “Your close combat skills are strong, but against ten of me, you have no chance,” they said in unison.
Leo looked down at them and sneered: “Don’t speak too soon; you’ll soon regret coming to this world!”
“I’ve never known regret!” The ten Sauls radiated malevolent energy as they pointed their Soulstealers at Leo and charged again.
Instead of preparing to counterattack, Leo sheathed his Dragon Sword. This unexpected move caused the charging Sauls to halt in surprise. Intuition told Saul that Leo wouldn’t surrender easily, so they cautiously stopped their attack for now.
