“I love him, yes! I think I do.” Grace later said this after a few minutes had passed.
“Then what happens to Alpha Nelson? He is still your husband, for crying out loud. The contract marriage you signed has not expired yet. Not just that, how can you just love a man you just met and spent time with for just a few months?” Cassandra had asked Grace, her tone laced with seriousness and surprised at the response Grace had given.
“I didn’t say I love him as a husband or something deeper! I love him as my helper, and he is a good person.” Grace corrected the impression that lingered in Cassandra’s mind.
Love has different meanings, and also what kind of love Grace was really talking about when she says she loves the handsome unknown devil she had met.
Cassandra flickered her eyes at Grace; she was really and already getting confused.
“I guess you understand what I mean, babe.” Grace said to Cassandra as she studied her confused face.
She really knew Cassandra was thinking far already, she really just can’t trust a man just like that, men had done her a lot, she has learned her lesson.
But she trusted this damn man she had just met, she knew he was going to be different from them all.
“Of course I do; I was a little bit confused and bewildered that you love a man you just met already.” Cassandra said she really couldn’t hide her true emotions.
“Not really.” Grace said again, her responses were not really well defined.
“Men are scum! You know that they are deceived; they are cheating! I hope you have that in mind, not all men, but I can tell you the majority of them.” Casandra said in a concluding tone as she stood up from the office seat she was sitting in.
“Where to?” Grace asked Cassandra.
“I will be back soon; I want to go get something from my car.” Cassandra said to Grace.
She had really not told Grace that she had always wanted to be with Alpha Redford; she was thinking of telling it to Grace, but she was really not sure of what the outcome of it would bring out.
Grace was serious. In making a deal with Alpha Nelson, all of a sudden, she had changed her mind, and now all that interested her was the handsome devil coming to take her away to where she could be treated like nothing but a princess and queen.
Grace was still typing on her laptop. He figured so fast in the typing, she was really not an expert, but she was getting used to the keyboard.
Taking things about the company was her priority, even for the fact that Alpha Nelson had taken Sophia as his wife, and then she was a nobody, that was just inside and not to the public.
She was the one people called or knew as the wife of Alpha Nelson and not Sophia, and so she had to continue with all the wifely duties at first as she still tried to take her husband from Sophia.
Was that really even possible?

Alpha Nelson was in his sitting room. He had wanted to call the person that would take down the video from the internet; he was really not liking the comments, and he knew he had to do something quickly before it could get more viewers; this can lead to damaging reputation.
“Okay, that is okay since the video has been taken down already!” Alpha Nelson had spoken to one of the people in the broadcaster station, and the man had told him the video had been taken down by the poster.
But who the hell had told the poster to take the video down? That person must be really so mean.
Sophia had made Alpha Nelson understand that the video was being posted by no other than Cindy.
The lady that always, or a lady that would always do anything to get exactly what she wants.
“Hey you! Be careful with how you do things.” Alpha Nelson was still contemplating everything that was going on when a message buzzed into his phone, and he saw what the unknown sender sent.
His heart skipped a bit, his eyes shone wide, looking at the phone screen to reread the text and confirm his eyes had seen right.
“What!” He gasped loudly that even if one was coming down from the stairs, they would have heard him so loudly and clearly.
The person had sent this particular text via WhatsApp, and you know what? He had sent it with pictures of a gun and knife.
“Who the hell has sent this, and what does he or she take me for? A person who is scared of their threat.” Alpha Nelson muttered to himself as he turned in his screen once more to type a text and send it to the person.
“I guess you must be a fool; why do you use an unknown number if you are really not scared of me, huh? Get the fuck away from my DM before I trace you and make your life more miserable than it already is.” Alpha Nelson sent the text to him, the anger in him burning like fire, the fury in him palpable.
“You really dare try to threaten me, even after I had told you to be careful earlier. Do you know what I can do to you this very minute?” The unknown person sent this text message to Alpha Nelson again, and he was beginning to question who has the nerve to do this.
“There is nothing you can do! I really don’t know who you are but there is nothing you can do! I will be the one to lay you six feet below the ground.” Alpha Nelson sent to the unknown freaking sender.
His mind lingered with a deep thought, and he laughed out loud.
“Grace! And the bitch of a lady, Cassandra, huh? I know they are the ones beside this.” Alpha muttered to himself, and his lips curved into a wry smile.
“These two ladies think they can really get to me? I have no idea they can be really as stupid as this.” Alpha Nelson said and continued to smile, even if his face wore a scowl and also smiled too.
“Let’s see how it goes now!” Alpha Nelson said and was about to dial a number on his phone when another message buzzed into his phone.
“Emergency! Emergency!! Emergency!! Sir, please rush to the centralized general hospital; your wife has been admitted to the hospital. We will discuss further what had made her collapse.” This was the text message they sent to Alpha.
Alpha Nelson’s head was numb for a minute, and his eyes widened in shock; his heart started to race so fast, he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
He was not supposed to be this way; what was his business with him and Grace? But he still felt his heart thudding faster and faster in his heart.
He was really so sacred already; the fear that gripped him was really wowing.
