Chapter 1809: You Have Come to the Wrong Place

Although Abel had been mentally prepared, when the day finally arrived, he was still filled with panic, especially after seeing what those three people did to the West Sea Fleet.
If they couldn’t be stopped, and they entered the metropolis to massacre millions, the consequences would be unimaginable.
“I’ll go right away,” Leo nodded solemnly, his eyes flashing with a cold light.
After ending the video call with Abel, Leo’s mind stirred, and the Thunder Wing Beast, which was enjoying spiritual fruits in the distance, flew over.
Under Leo’s cultivation, the Thunder Wing Beast was nearing adulthood. Both its flying speed and combat power had greatly improved.
“Saul, we’re not far from land,” Tristen said, looking ahead.
Saul only nodded slightly.
“Saul, I can’t wait to enjoy the souls of mortals,” Lawson grinned.
Soul Sucking was essentially a deviant path for Cultivators. Besides absorbing spiritual energy from heaven and earth, they loved to consume souls to accelerate their cultivation. However, consuming souls had its drawbacks, causing issues with their mental state.
As they spoke, the three of them arrived above a forest.
On the outskirts of the forest was a highway where cars sped by from time to time.
With a flash, the three appeared on the highway.
“The transportation tools of this world are quite peculiar,” Tristen remarked with interest.
At that moment, a large truck came speeding towards them.
The driver, a burly man, was humming along to the music playing in his truck, looking quite relaxed.
Suddenly, he saw three people in red ancient robes appear in the middle of the highway.
His face changed dramatically as he slammed on the brakes.
The truck’s tires screeched against the ground, leaving long black skid marks.
The truck stopped just two meters away from the three people.
The driver let out a sigh of relief. If he hadn’t reacted in time, he would have definitely hit them.
Seeing that the three were unfazed, anger rose in the driver’s heart. He rolled down his window, stuck his head out, and shouted, “Are you three crazy? Playing cosplay on the highway!?”
Seeing that they still didn’t move, he turned on his hazard lights, opened the door, and jumped out of the truck.
The vehicles behind saw the truck’s hazard lights and assumed it had broken down, so they slowed down and changed lanes.
The previously clear highway began to clog up.
The truck driver walked towards the three while cursing under his breath.
But he soon stopped cursing when he noticed their cold, emotionless eyes. A chill ran down his spine.
However, he quickly regained his courage. After all, he was in the right.
“What are you staring at? Don’t think I’ll be scared just because there are three of you. Get out of here before I get rough!”
As he spoke, he flexed his biceps.
The road quickly became congested as curious drivers rolled down their windows to see what was happening.
Tristen’s eyes flashed coldly as he flicked his finger at the driver.
Bang!
The driver’s body suddenly exploded into a cloud of blood mist.
Tristen opened his mouth and absorbed the driver’s soul.
“Ah! Murder!”
Screams erupted from the surrounding vehicles as people witnessed the gruesome scene.
Lawson released his spiritual energy, which turned into a pale red mist that spread towards the nearby vehicles.
The people inside exploded into blood mist one by one as Lawson absorbed their souls.
Saul looked in a direction and said, “My spiritual sense detects a place with abundant spiritual energy. Let’s go check it out.”
“Yes, senior brother,” Tristen and Lawson replied in unison.
With a flash, they stood in mid-air and flew towards a direction.
After flying for a while, Saul suddenly stopped.
“What’s wrong, Saul?” Tristen asked.
Saul didn’t speak but looked ahead with sharp eyes.
“Someone is flying towards us,” Lawson said as his spiritual sense picked it up.
Soon, a giant beast appeared in their sight.
Leo, standing on the Thunder Wing Beast’s back, also saw Saul and his companions.
As they rapidly closed the distance, Leo and Saul’s group confronted each other.
On the Thunder Wing Beast’s back, Leo’s eyes locked onto the three, a cold light flashing in his pupils. Although there was some distance between them, Leo could tell these three were deviant Cultivators.
Tristen’s gaze also focused on Leo. After scanning him with his spiritual sense, a slight smile curved his lips. “It seems we were wrong before. There are Cultivators in this world.”
“A Spirit King level Cultivator. Interesting,” Lawson said with a look of interest on his face.
Leo extended his right hand, and with a thought, Dragon Sword appeared in his grasp. As spiritual energy poured into it, Dragon Sword emitted a clear dragon roar. At the same time, it shone with dazzling icy white light that turned into a sharp sword beam aimed directly at Lawson.
“Watch out!” Saul warned with narrowed eyes.
The powerful sword beam made Lawson’s heart skip a beat. He quickly summoned a blue ribbon to shield himself. The sharp sword beam struck the ribbon. Although it blocked the beam, the force pushed Lawson back more than ten steps. Just as he steadied himself, the ribbon split in two and broke apart.
“My Azure Spirit Sash!” Lawson’s face showed pain. He felt something warm trickling down his face and touched it to find blood. The powerful sword energy had left a one-inch cut on his cheek. Looking at the blood on his hand, Lawson’s face turned extremely dark as he asked angrily, “Kid, are you a Swordmaster!?”
Saul and Tristen were equally surprised and shocked as they looked at Leo. They hadn’t expected to find a Cultivator in what they thought was a world of mere mortals-and a Swordmaster at that. Among various Cultivators, Swordmasters ranked in the top three for single-target attack power.
“You three have come to a place you shouldn’t have,” Leo said coldly.
