SEBASTIAN’S POV
I watched with growing annoyance as the lady continued to argue with the waitress, refusing to back down even when she was told that she couldn’t order anything outside of the menu.
She was stubborn and adamant, and wouldn’t even allow the waitress to explain the reasons to her.
Their constant bickering was making me lose my focus on what I was doing, and I found myself getting increasingly irritated.
“Why can’t she just agree to open the damn menu if she’s that hungry?” I asked myself, feeling a sense of frustration.
Or maybe that particular food was what she was craving, and that’s why she got so annoyed when she couldn’t have it?
There were so many questions running through my head, and I just couldn’t ignore the fact that her voice sounded a little bit familiar.
For a moment, I thought I was going crazy. She sounded so much like Sasha, but I immediately pushed the thought out of my head.
“She probably sounds like Sasha because I’m obsessed with Sasha,” I muttered to myself, feeling a pang of guilt and longing.
I had been thinking about Sasha nonstop since our last encounter, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had lost her forever.
As I stood there, listening to the lady’s tirade, I felt my frustration grow. “Ma’am, please understand me,” the waitress pleaded, looking stressed and frazzled.
I could see the desperation in her eyes, but I couldn’t see the lady’s face because she was standing with her back to me.
“You know what? Just forget about it. I don’t need the freaking food again, you may have lost my appetite,” the lady responded, her voice laced with anger and disappointment.
I frowned, feeling a sense of confusion. Didn’t she just say she was hungry? I could have sworn I heard her stomach grumble earlier, and now she was changing her mind because she was angry?
I couldn’t help but feel a sense of exasperation. Who was this woman, and why was she being so unreasonable? And why did her voice sound so much like Sasha’s?
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that I had to intervene. I couldn’t just stand there and watch this scene unfold.
“Let her have what she wants,” I instructed the waitress, feeling a sense of authority and control.
The lady turned to face me, and I felt my heart skip a beat as I saw her expression. She looked… familiar. And then, it hit me. It was Sasha.
The one person I had been searching for, the one person I couldn’t stop thinking about. What was she doing here?
“Ma’am, please,” the waitress pleaded, trying to make her change her mind, but Sasha was far from doing so now, as she had already turned to leave.
I couldn’t stand and watch her leave without getting her food, so I had to step in and help her out. I felt a sense of responsibility, knowing that I was the reason she hadn’t gotten the food she wanted in the first place.
“Let her have what she wants,” I instructed the waitress, and she nodded, looking relieved.
I was the main reason she hadn’t gotten the food she wanted, since I was standing here, and they wouldn’t dare to do anything that was contrary to the law set in place.
I had personally warned them to stop serving any food that was not in the menu, no matter how important the person was, and they wouldn’t be daring enough to do what I had warned them not to do. But I just couldn’t ignore this particular lady.
“Okay, sir, what’s your order again?” the waitress asked, but Sasha didn’t respond.
I guess she was surprised to see the waitress change her mind just because I had instructed her to do so.
The boss she had just bad-mouthed was standing next to her all the while, and she had no idea. She was probably aghast, and if I were in her shoes, I would feel the same way.
I didn’t turn to look at her, but I could feel her gaze on me as she slowly approached me. Her figure was not visible to me, but I could sense her presence, and I was surprised to see who it was.
“Oh my gosh,” she exclaimed, her voice full of shock and surprise.
She was surprised to see me, and I was also surprised to see her too. I couldn’t believe that the adamant lady who wouldn’t stop running her mouth was actually Sasha, the last person I had been searching for.
As I turned to face her, our eyes met, and I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. I was taken aback by the intensity of her gaze, and I could see the shock and surprise written all over her face.
I felt a mix of emotions – surprise, anger, and relief – all swirling together inside me. I had been searching for her everywhere, and here she was, standing right in front of me, looking more beautiful and fiery than ever.
For a moment, we just stared at each other, the tension between us palpable. I could feel the air thick with unspoken words, and I knew that this was just the beginning of a very complicated and emotional conversation.
“Sasha, I guess we have met again,” I said with a smirk on my face, feeling a sense of triumph and satisfaction.
But Sasha’s expression was far from pleased. She immediately frowned, her eyes narrowing in annoyance.
“I… hello…” she stammered, trying to sound calm, but I could sense the tension in her voice.
She tried to run, but I was too quick. I immediately grabbed her hands, holding her in place. My grip was firm, but not too tight, just enough to make sure she couldn’t escape.
“Where do you think you are going?” I asked, a sly smile spreading across my face.
Sasha’s face twisted into a frown as she tried to release herself from my grasp, but it was impossible. I could feel her struggling, her body tense with resistance.
“Please let me go, I need to use the restroom,” she responded, her voice laced with desperation. I chuckled lightly, amused by her attempt to deceive me. Did she think I would be easily fooled?
“No way, Sasha. You’re coming with me,” I replied firmly, my voice brooking no argument. Sasha frowned, displeased, and tried to wriggle free again.
“Just let me go, you’re hurting me,” she responded, her voice tinged with pain. I frowned, feeling a pang of guilt, but I couldn’t let her go. Not yet.
My grip on her hands was firm, and I knew it was probably hurting her, but I couldn’t help it. I was too angry, too frustrated. But as I looked into her eyes, I saw a glimmer of fear, and my expression softened slightly.
“Fine, I’ll let you go, but don’t you dare try to run away from me,” I said, my voice firm but controlled. “You’re in my hotel, and I’ll make sure you’re unable to leave if you try to run.”
I saw a flash of fear in her eyes, and I knew I had her right where I wanted her. “Your hotel?” she asked, surprised, and I scoffed.
“Yes, and I swear I won’t be merciful if you try anything funny,” I said, my voice cold and menacing. Sasha swallowed hard, her eyes wide with fear.
“I won’t try to run,” she promised, her voice barely above a whisper. I immediately let her go, watching as she examined her wrist. The skin was a bit red, but it looked fine, so I didn’t bother about it again.
As I looked at Sasha, I felt a mix of emotions – anger, frustration, and a hint of desire. I had been searching for her for so long, and now that I had her right where I wanted her, I wasn’t going to let her go. Not without a fight.
I led her to the VIP section lounge in the hotel, a place where nobody was allowed except me. This was the best place to talk without being interrupted, and I wanted to make sure we had absolute privacy.
Sasha followed me quietly and obediently, her eyes fixed on the floor. I could sense her resentment and frustration, but I didn’t care. I was determined to get what I wanted.
As we entered the lounge, I sat down on the plush couch, gesturing for her to sit beside me.
She hesitated for a moment, but then sat down, her body tense and rigid. I could see the fear and uncertainty in her eyes, and it only made me more determined.
“What’s your decision?” I asked, my voice firm and commanding.
Sasha frowned, trying to act confused, but I knew she understood exactly what I was talking about.
