Chapter 136. Searching Her

I didn’t head back to the pack house. Instead, I went straight to the security base, where my top-skilled team was constantly working to make our defenses impenetrable.
“Freya,” I called out to the pack’s royal witch. She was young but brilliant, combining her magical abilities with modern tech like no one else could. “Did you find anything about that mysterious woman from the security footage?”
“Yes, Alpha,” she replied, walking over to the large glass screen on the wall. She tapped on it a few times, swiping through the data until the footage appeared. She played the portion where the woman had shown up in my defense, then froze the frame and zoomed in.
“Look at this,” she said, pointing to the image.
My eyes locked onto the beautiful woman in the still frame, and I couldn’t look away. Even in a photo, she held my attention like no one ever had.
“She has unusual energy surrounding her,” Freya added, drawing my attention to the faint, glowing aura around the woman-the same woman who had been haunting my dreams.
“What is that?” I asked, stepping closer to the screen, my eyes narrowing as I focused on the details Freya had pointed out.
“This energy is otherworldly,” Freya explained, her gaze shifting to meet mine. “It confirms that the woman came from another realm.”
“Another realm?” I turned toward her, my expression full of questions.
“Yes,” she said, nodding. “I researched a fragment I found in the area where she appeared. From my findings, it seems she might have come from the Lunar Realm.”
“The Lunar Realm?” I repeated, shocked. “That realm is sacred-completely out of reach for normal shifters.” My voice dropped as a realization hit me. “Does that mean she’s a goddess?” I muttered to myself.
Freya shrugged lightly. “I can’t say for sure, Alpha,” she admitted. “She could be a goddess or just a resident of the Lunar Realm. But with her ability to travel between realms and the sheer power she radiated while protecting you, she certainly resembles a goddess.”
Why would a goddess come here to protect me? And why did I keep seeing her in my dreams? What connection could there possibly be between us?
Oh, for Goddess’s sake, I felt like I would go insane.
There was only one way to get answers-to meet her personally. And for that… either she had to come here, or I had to find a way to the Lunar Realm myself. There was no other option.

*Kaelvor*
“What makes you come here?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at the two fools I only tolerated because of Selena.
“We thought we would be welcomed in the Dark Realm by God Kaelvor,” that arrogant vampire Damon said, his smug tone grating on my nerves.
I forced a slow, measured smile. “Of course, you’re welcome. But if word gets out that we’re conspiring to destroy the Lunar Realm and capture the ancient golden wolf, Arena, we’ll all be in deep trouble.”
“Who can threaten the God of Destruction?” the Dark Alpha said with pride, his tone dripping with misplaced confidence.
I suppressed a huff of annoyance. These two imbeciles thought allying with me automatically made them invincible, eternal beings. They had no idea what they had truly signed up for by cooperating with me.
“There’s a supreme power,” I said, my voice low and sharp, “one that can destroy gods and goddesses alike. Even I am bound by His rules. So don’t get too comfortable with your little delusions of grandeur.”
Their smug expressions faltered, and I pressed on, my patience wearing thin. “Now, stop wasting my time and tell me-why are you here?” I crossed my arms, glaring at them. There were far more pressing matters to attend to than entertaining these self-important fools.
“Alpha King Zander Blake has become suspicious as he postponed the wedding,” the Dark Alpha informed me.
“And whose fault is that?” I snapped, glaring at the idiotic vampire. “If you had just waited for the right time and shown some patience, we wouldn’t be dealing with yet another problem.” My voice was sharp with irritation as I grunted in frustration.
One problem was already enough-marrying Selena and claiming her power by being her mate. But now, another obstacle had presented itself in the form of Zander Blake.
He wasn’t just anyone; Zander was cunning, powerful, and dangerous. He had the strength to bring down a sacred realm single-handedly, which was why he ruled as the Alpha King over the entire werewolf community.
Prophesied to die long ago, he was somehow still alive. For reasons unknown, fate had spared him. Zander wasn’t just an alpha-he was invincible.
“Now what should we do to stop him from finding out our real plan?” the Dark Alpha asked, diverting my attention back to him.
“We shouldn’t do anything,” I suggested, leaning back on my throne. “Let him be curious. He’ll never know what’s going on. But if either of you tries to draw his attention again, I won’t be able to save you,” I warned them.
Both of them swallowed hard and nodded, and I was satisfied with the fear now in their eyes.
Suddenly, one of my men barged in, looking very startled.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, my tone sharp.
“We got word that Alpha King Zander Blake has been found trying to break the rules, attempting to breach the Eternal Gate, which is meant for mortals to travel between realms.”
What?!
