Chapter 775: He’s not going to assassinate anyone, is he?

“Well, he’s back,”
Paige said with a faint smile.
He is back, but not completely.
Fryday suddenly felt confident, “So what are you waiting for? Hurry up and drag your husband out for a walk, those ignorant people have never seen a chaebol in their lives.”
Of course, she had never seen one either.
“Okay, I’ll talk to him later.”
Facing Fryday’s kind intentions, Paige naturally wouldn’t dampen her spirits. As soon as she finished speaking, Fryday excitedly tugged at her sleeve, “Look, look at that person, they’ve just returned from abroad. Back then, many people wanted to meet you, and they even came to me, wanting to marry you.”
“Huh?”
Paige was taken aback for a moment, and when she looked in the direction she was pointing, she saw a young man with a rather upright figure carrying a briefcase walking towards them. He probably had a tired face from working all day.
It seemed that he sensed her gaze, as he looked up and met her eyes. He immediately looked away in a flustered manner, walked quickly away, and his ears were red.
Paige didn’t know him at all. At that time, she was busy creating Temple in Heaven here, and she didn’t even have time to take care of her son, let alone anything else.
“After your husband announced your marriage, he looked very disoriented, and he kept bumping into trees when he walked.”
Fryday gossiped to her, and just after she finished speaking, the man ran headlong into a tree by the roadside.
The man looked over here with an embarrassed face, and then immediately covered his head and ran, scampering.
“Look at him…” Fryday couldn’t help but laugh.
“I don’t know him,” Paige shook her head.
“I know, your Olivia said you were busy and told me not to gossip in front of you. When you first moved in here, he saw you and fell in love at first sight. He asked about you and found out that although you had a child, you didn’t have a man by your side. He was obsessed,”
Fryday told her exactly what had happened, “To be honest, I really wanted to introduce you two to each other back then. I thought the child was also a good-looking person with a successful career, but you were really too busy. You were never at home, and when you were, you were taking naps and resting. It was hard to say, so I just let it go.”
“So that’s what happened.”
But it didn’t really matter to her.
Paige smiled and said to Fryday, “I won’t bother you anymore. I’ll take Gabriel for a run.”
“Okay, go ahead. Come over to my house for dinner when you have time. I’ll cook something delicious for you.”
Fryday was a warm-hearted person, and she waved her hand with a smile, telling her to go. Seeing the group of people before her looking over, she quickly shouted again, ‘Remember to bring your husband along to eat with us! Let me have a look and meet that big shot!’
“…”
The looks in the group’s eyes were really a bit sour.
Paige smiled and took Gabriel’s hand to continue walking. Gabriel kicked the small stones on the road and walked in an unkempt manner.
She looked down at him and said, “Gabriel, have you heard a lot of unpleasant things here?”
Upon hearing this, Gabriel looked up, his eyes rolling, “No, they’re all nice things.”
“…”
It really warmed her heart.
Paige didn’t expose him either, and reached out to rub his head. Suddenly, a shadow leaned over, blocking the light from the street lamp.
She looked up and saw the young man from before standing in front of her, with a bouquet of blue gypsophila in his arms.
Paige was stunned, and Gabriel was a little confused as well. “Uncle, you…”
“It’s for you.”
The man handed over the bouquet and then said a little stiffly, ‘I didn’t mean anything by it. Seeing as you’re back, I wanted to give you a bouquet as a sign of my feelings.’
“…”
Paige stood there looking at him, ‘Thank you, but there’s no need…’
Before she could finish, a man’s voice came from somewhere, “The flower language of Gypsophila is love that is willing to play second fiddle. It’s not appropriate to give these to a married woman, is it?”
Paige looked over at the sound and saw Kevin on the path, walking towards them with two subordinates. His face was pale in the night, with a faint smile on it, and his legs were walking more and more freely.
“Uncle Kevin!” Gabriel shouted, throwing himself at him.
“Mr. Kevin.”
At the border, the people may not know who the president is, but they will not be unaware of who Kevin is. The young man immediately changed his face and bowed respectfully.
Kevin picked Gabriel up and walked over to Paige, looking coldly at the man, “You don’t watch the news or read the newspaper, so you don’t know who she is, right?”
“… I just brought some flowers as a neighbor.”
“Come on, we’re all men here, everyone knows everyone, just go back.” Kevin directly chased the person away.
“…
The man walked directly away.
Kevin looked at the person’s back and laughed, “Luckily it’s me here tonight, if it was your husband, I’m afraid he could even break someone’s leg.”
“Not necessarily.”
He didn’t come out, did he?
He’s really calm.
Paige said indifferently, glancing at the heavy night sky around them. She couldn’t see anything unusual in the residential area.
“What’s wrong with you two? You came to my border one after the other. What, did you come to screw with me after you took care of those plutocrats?” Kevin joked.
“You’re getting your news faster and faster,”
Paige said. She had only just arrived at the border.
“I have people keeping an eye on you at all times. You came here in broad daylight, so of course I got the news right away.”
Kevin said as he took a candy out of his pocket and handed it to Gabriel, who gave him a kiss on the neck in return.
“So do you know where Enrico is?” Paige asked.
“No. I only looked into it after I found out you were here. I couldn’t find any trace of him. It’s not hard for someone with his abilities to do that, so I’m wondering what’s going on with you guys.”
Kevin hugged Gabriel and said, “Let’s go back to your place and tell me about it.”
Paige had no choice but to go back with him.

It was late at night, and the light in the courtyard was kept on, with a comfortable temperature.
Gabriel was sleeping crookedly in a small recliner, and Paige covered him with a small quilt.
“Puff…”
Kevin spit out a mouthful of water and looked at Paige incredulously, “Are you saying that Enrico is in this community right now, somewhere monitoring this place?”
“I think so. He didn’t leave without saying anything, and he left a letter before he left. He also left a trail of his whereabouts all the way to the border. This is enough to prove that he wants me to catch up with him. Then my movements must be in his hands.”
Paige sat there and said, ‘What better way to find him than to find a place in this community and watch how I look for him like an ant on a hot pan?’
“An ant on a hot pan? You?”
Kevin laughed out loud, “I see you’re pretty idle. You even have a man delivering flowers to you while you run at night.”
If Enrico really was spying, he would be so angry that he would burst a blood vessel on the spot, right?
“I went running at night to look for Enrico, but instead of finding him, I ran into that man delivering flowers, and I ran into you.”
Paige gave him a cool look.
She didn’t even know if she had stepped on a few of Enrico’s minefields.
“I’m not worried. This is my territory, and a strong dragon can’t suppress a local snake.”
Kevin leaned back with full confidence, but the next second he sat up straight and looked at her, asking seriously, ‘He’s not going to assassinate me, is he?’
