Chapter 1804: Revisiting Azure Dragon Shrine

“Leo, when do you think those from the Cultivator’s World or the monsters will come to Earth through the spatial rift again?” Abel asked seriously.
“It’s hard to say,” Leo frowned and thought for a moment. “The space within the rift is unstable. With my current strength, crossing it would be extremely dangerous. However, I estimate that there won’t be any cultivators or monsters coming to Earth in the near future.”
Abel sighed and said solemnly, “We can’t just sit and wait for death; we need to come up with a plan.”
“Mr. Wells, once my cultivation level increases a bit more, I should be able to cross the spatial rift. At that time, I can go to the Cultivator’s World and use an illusion array to hide the rift from their side,” Leo proposed.
What Leo meant by increasing his cultivation level was advancing to the lower stage of Spirit Saint. However, achieving this advancement in a short time seemed unlikely. If the monsters from the Cultivator’s World invaded Earth before then, it could mean the end of the world.
Abel had no better solution and could only nod in agreement. “Leo, I’ll leave it to you then. Let me know if you need anything; I can use my privileges to help you as much as possible.”
Leo nodded firmly, determination shining in his eyes. Even if not for saving the world, he had to go to that world for Sophia.
After seeing Abel off, a disciple in white ran towards Leo with a phone in hand. “Honorary Master, your phone has been ringing non-stop,” the disciple said, handing the phone to Leo.
Leo took the phone and saw dozens of missed calls from his mother-in-law, Jessica. He called her back immediately.
“My good son-in-law, you finally called back. Sophia’s phone has been unreachable. Where did you both go? Why haven’t you come home?” Jessica asked anxiously.
Leo thought for a moment and replied, “Mom, Sophia won’t be coming home for a while. You and Dad don’t need to look for her.”
“What do you mean she won’t come home?” Jessica’s voice rose.
“She went to another world.”
There was silence on the other end of the line before Jessica exploded. “Are you saying… Sophia is dead!? Leo, you heartless man, what did you do to Sophia?”
“Sophia is fine; she just went to another world and can’t come back for now. You and Dad don’t need to look for her. I’ll bring her back,” Leo explained.
“Leo, are you crazy? What nonsense are you talking about? If you don’t explain clearly, I’ll call the police!” Jessica shouted.
Knowing it was impossible to explain this situation over the phone, Leo hung up and turned off his phone.
In a secret room at the WONDER base in Langstel, only Abel and Beau Steele were present. Abel relayed everything he had learned from Leo to Beau Steele.
After listening, Beau Steele fell into deep thought. Abel tentatively asked, “Mr. Steele, do you think we can rely on Leo?”
Beau Steele looked at Abel and smiled bitterly. “Do we have any other choice?”
Abel shook his head helplessly.
Beau Steele continued, “The celestial gene of Earth’s humans has completely disappeared. He is the only successful sample of the Celestial Creation Project. Everything we did back then was to prepare for this situation.”
“All we can do now is give him our full support and wait.”
A month later in the morning at Seven Stars Sect, Violet approached Leo. “Leo, my spiritual power has reached a certain level. I want to go back to Azure Dragon Shrine to meditate and see if I can break through to mid-stage Spirit Master. Besides, I miss my father.”
Violet possessed a fire spirit body, allowing her cultivation speed to be astonishingly fast as long as she had ample spiritual energy.
Leo remembered their time entering Azure Dragon Shrine together when he could only reach the second floor. Now, his strength had vastly improved compared to back then. Reaching the third floor should be easy.
What could be on the third floor?
“Violet, I’ll go with you. We couldn’t enter the third floor of Azure Dragon Shrine last time; this time should be different,” Leo said.
“Great! Leo, I wonder what treasures are on the third floor,” Violet’s eyes lit up with excitement.
“Let’s go; I’ll take you on my sword.”
Leo summoned Dragon Sword, and they both jumped onto it, transforming into a streak of light flying towards the Coleman family’s direction.
With Leo’s current cultivation at the upper stage of Spirit King, his sword-flying speed had increased significantly.
Half an hour later, they arrived at the Coleman family estate. After meeting Donovan and others and having lunch together, Leo and Violet headed towards Azure Dragon Shrine.
The shrine’s tower was adorned with ancient red patterns and stood majestically under the sky with its flying eaves contrasting against the vast heavens. It inspired awe just as it did when Leo first saw it.
After exchanging glances with Violet, they pushed open the heavy tower door and entered Azure Dragon Shrine. Inside, they immediately felt pure fire energy surrounding them. The gentle fire energy didn’t bring any heat but filled them with strength.
“So comfortable,” Violet couldn’t help but say as her fire spiritual power became more active within her body.
Before them lay piles of crystalline jade stones emitting red light, casting a red hue over everything in the tower.
“Leo, let’s go to the second floor,” Violet suggested.
Leo nodded, and they ascended to the second floor where Violet had initially received her inheritance. They continued towards the staircase leading to the third floor.
At the staircase entrance, a powerful fire energy pressure emerged. Back then, Leo couldn’t even stand on the first step.
Leo glanced at Violet and said, “I’ll go first; follow closely behind me.”
Violet nodded obediently.
Leo activated Nine Heavens Star Chart, causing brilliant starlight to burst from his body, making him appear incredibly powerful. Taking a deep breath, he stepped onto the first stair.
As soon as he did, a strong fire energy pressed down on him. The pure fire energy seeped into his skin pores, heating his muscles.
