Reginald looked at Tony with a smile. “I predicted before that Miss Andrews would be a great opportunity for our Gentry family. It seems I was right.”
“Reginald, you truly are a seer. All this gold and silver has alleviated our Gentry family’s urgent needs. Casey’s life was saved by Miss Andrews and Mr. Maskelyne this time. I don’t know how to thank them enough.”
Tony’s chest swelled with emotion.
“That’s not difficult,” Reginald squinted his aged eyes slightly. “Our Gentry family has plenty of medicine.”
“That’s right,” Tony nodded in agreement. “Tomorrow, I’ll have Casey take some of the rare pills we’ve recently developed from the medicine vault and give them to Miss Andrews. She should like them.”
By now, the sky was beginning to lighten, and the east was showing the first signs of dawn.
A new day had arrived.
The Gentry family was bustling due to the arrival of a helicopter in the early morning, leaving everyone wide awake.
The kitchen, in particular, was extremely busy, with almost all the Gentry family’s kitchens gathered at the banquet hall.
The butler kept reminding them, “Today’s luncheon is prepared for Miss Andrews. Do you know who provided the Healing Herb we use regularly? It was Miss Andrews!”
“Make sure to cook this Australian lobster well.”
“And this king crab and abalone, they must all be kept at their freshest, don’t mess it up.”
“Mr. Maskelyne has a picky palate, make sure to cater to his taste. Do you know who he is? Miss Andrews’ husband, an honored guest! The gold and jewels we received this time were given by Mr. Maskelyne.”
“Do you want a raise? If so, work hard. Tony said everyone will get a share when those jewels are converted to money.”
One of the cooks couldn’t take it anymore and dug at her ear. “Butler, can you stop nagging? It’s hurting our ears.”
“Don’t we know that Miss Andrews is a great benefactor to our Gentry family? Seriously!”
The butler glared at her. “I’m just worried you won’t take it seriously. We can’t help Miss Andrews much with our insignificant status…”
“Alright, alright, you should leave now. We’ll definitely do our best.” The chef waved his hand. “Don’t worry.”
The kitchen was bustling with activity, and Tony and the main elders and members of the family were also busy.
Tony took out a suitcase-sized box and opened it to show its contents to everyone. “I plan to give these… and these… all to Mr. Maskelyne and Miss Andrews. What do you think?”
“Tony, isn’t this a bit too little?” Elder Fatima stroked her chin. “We only have this much medicine to offer, why not pack another box?”
“Yes, yes, Elder Fatima is right. One box doesn’t show enough sincerity.”
“Right, pack some more, we can always make more medicine.”
Everyone began to chime in.
Tony looked at them with satisfaction. “Your suggestions are good. I’ll go with the majority and pack another box.”
The Blood Medical Sect’s medicine was not ordinary; it was priceless outside.
Now they were preparing to give boxes of it to Sylvia and Franklin, which would surely shock outsiders.
Time quickly passed until noon.
Servants began bringing the delicious dishes prepared in the kitchen to the dining table one after another, along with various exquisite pastries and drinks.
Looking at the ten tables filled with a dazzling array of dishes in the banquet hall, Tony nodded in satisfaction.
“The kitchen did well today; all chefs and helpers will get a raise.”
“Thank you, Tony.” The butler glanced at the head chef with delight. “See, I was right!”
“Alright, go wake up Casey and Mr. Maskelyne for lunch,” Tony instructed the butler. “The future of our Gentry family is thanks to Miss Andrews and Mr. Maskelyne, be respectful.”
“Don’t worry.” The butler took his leave.
Sylvia had set an alarm for 11:30 AM and got up when it rang.
After washing up and changing into clean clothes she had fortunately brought along, she saw Franklin sitting on the bed, beckoning her with a doting look in his eyes. “Come here.”
Sylvia applied skincare products as she walked over. “What’s up?”
Franklin extended his long arm and pulled her tightly into his embrace. His broad chest pressed against her delicate body through thin fabric as she sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck with a seductive look in her eyes. “What is it?”
The man took a deep breath. “You smell good.”
“It’s the scent of my skincare products.” Sylvia’s eyes curved into a smile as she hugged him tighter.
The room was filled with an intimate atmosphere as Franklin tightened his grip. “I don’t want to let you go.”
He wanted to hold her like this forever.
Just then, Jasper’s voice came from the door. “Young Master, Madam, are you up?”
Sylvia responded, “Mr. Howlett, we’re coming.”
She nudged Franklin. “Let’s go, it’s time to eat; I’m starving.”
After eating poorly and sleeping uncomfortably in the wild, she finally felt she could enjoy a hot meal.
Franklin reluctantly let her go, and they both stood up.
The man’s large hand firmly held her small one. “Alright.”
Opening the door, they saw Jasper in a silver-gray suit standing outside, accompanied by Jaden and the twin brothers.
Everyone had changed into clean clothes instead of the dirty ones they wore in the wild.
“The Gentry family has a banquet hall specifically for hosting banquets,” Jasper smiled at Franklin and Sylvia. “We can head straight there.”
“Alright, let’s go,” Franklin nodded.
Vaild rubbed his stomach and complained, “I’m so hungry my stomach is sticking to my back; I must have lost weight from hunger after sleeping so long.”
“Eat more later so you don’t suffer,” Mark knocked on his head.
Downstairs in the hall, the butler was waiting respectfully with several servants.
Seeing them come down, the butler immediately approached with a smile on his face. “Mr. Maskelyne, Miss Andrews, please follow me.”
“Thank you, Mr. Butler,” Sylvia smiled at him without looking down on him for being a butler.
The butler led them to the banquet hall’s first-floor lobby, which resembled a star-rated hotel.
The first floor was a lobby decorated with auspicious items symbolizing wealth and prosperity.
“The banquet is on the second floor; please follow me,” the butler led them up the stairs.
Just as they started climbing the stairs, Casey came running breathlessly. “Miss Andrews, Mr. Maskelyne… wait for me!”
The butler stopped as well. “Young Master, today’s banquet is specifically to thank Mr. Maskelyne and Miss Andrews; why are you dressed like that?”
Casey looked down and was stunned. “Oh no, I’m still in my pajamas!”
He turned and ran off like a whirlwind.
The butler shook his head helplessly. “Sorry for making you laugh.”
Soon they reached the second floor where they heard footsteps approaching.
Led by Tony, the Gentry family members gathered around.
Some had seen Franklin and Sylvia before; many had not.
They all stared wide-eyed as a handsome man and beautiful woman walked over accompanied by the butler.
The man was tall and elegant in a custom-made black suit that exuded nobility; his perfect features seemed like God’s finest creation.
The woman wore a white V-neck sweater paired with a skirt and a khaki trench coat; her exquisite features were mesmerizing.
The Gentry family members were stunned by how young yet extraordinary this couple was!
Tony nervously rubbed his hands together. “Mr. Maskelyne, Miss Andrews, please come in. We’ve prepared a banquet; I hope you don’t mind.”
Franklin’s thin lips parted slightly as his deep eyes scanned the Gentry family members. “Tony is too kind.”
“No kindness at all; since everyone is here, let’s all sit down,” Tony quickly invited everyone to sit.
With so many people in the Gentry family, they quickly filled ten tables.
At the main table sat Tony, Reginald, Casey, and other important family members accompanying Franklin and Sylvia.
Casey returned wearing a silver-gray suit with a dark red bow tie for formality.
As he hurried upstairs, he was pulled into a corner by a slender arm; Fatima’s voice whispered in his ear. “Brother.”
“What are you doing?” Casey frowned at his cousin Fatima. “I’m going to be late; I need to accompany Mr. Maskelyne and Miss Andrews for lunch!”
“Brother… is that Mr. Maskelyne? He’s so handsome,” Fatima curiously glanced at the main table.
Casey looked at her impatiently. “Fatima, don’t get any wrong ideas. Mr. Maskelyne and Miss Andrews are our benefactors. If you do anything inappropriate, I won’t forgive you.”
“Oh come on! What are you thinking?” Fatima pouted before her gaze fell on Jasper sitting with the twins. “I wanted to ask… who is he?”
“Who?” Casey followed her gaze to see Jasper sitting with the twins. “Him? He’s Mr. Maskelyne’s assistant-very capable.”
“Casey… could you introduce us?” Fatima’s eyes sparkled with infatuation; this man perfectly matched her taste in every way.
His physique and looks were simply perfect.
“Forget it; you’re not worthy of him,” Casey shook his head vigorously.
Fatima was instantly infuriated by him. “I’m a lady of the Gentry family; how am I not worthy of him?”
