Ava’s POV
It was time for us to go back to school, so I bid goodbye to my family. My father promised to always come to visit us. My sister insisted on tagging along with me.
“Anne, I am so happy. I am going back with you as your sister,” she muttered.
My mates were unhappy with my decision to take her along with us. They knew it was my father’s verdict for her to tag along, but they had no option but to accept the decision.
“You can drop us at my apartment,” I told them when we finally reached the town.
“But why? Are you not staying with us anymore? Why the change of mind?” Ethan implored.
“I can no longer stay with you anymore. My sister is here with me, so I am staying with Oliver,” I answered back.
“This is cheating, Anna. Why did you tag along with us? I detest this,” Aiden confessed.
“I’m her sister, so I can be wherever she is. She’s my twin’s sister,” my sister beamed at my mates.
“She’s our mate,” they both replied.
“Your mate?” she asked. “She is my family, my only sister.”
They all started arguing.
“Will you stop all this? You are taking me to my house. This is my final decision, Aiden,” I confided.
“OK, as Majesty pleases,” he replied. And we all laughed.
He stopped and parked the car when we reached my apartment. I walked towards the door before pressing the bell.
Oliver immediately jumped on me when she opened the door. I noticed there were people inside the apartment.
‘Hi, sister,” she greeted me.
“Come in.”
I walked inside the room to find Roy and another guy talking to each other. He was so beautiful, with light blue long hair. His skin was flawless, without a single spot. He looked like a god. I was captivated by his beauty.
“Do you think he’s handsome?” a voice asked me.
“Yes,” I replied absentmindedly.
Before I knew it, Aiden grabbed the unknown guy roughly, holding him and lifting him.
“What do you think you are doing?” I asked him, shocked by his actions.
“How dare you lust over my mate?” Aiden said to him.
“It’s not what you think, Aiden. He’s not lusting over me,” I told him. “Let him go. Now.”
He refused to listen to me. He was determined to attack him. But a loud growl halted him. It was my sister, growling and baring her teeth at my mate. She was ready to attack, but why?
“What do you think you are doing, Anna?” Ethan asked her. “Are you trying to pick a fight with us for an unknown dead man, Anna?”
“Yes, if you dare lay your hand on my mate, I promise to kill you,” she answered back.
“Wow, mate. He is my sister’s mate.”
“You mean you are a mate to a vampire?” Aiden asked. “A dead man?”
“Yes, and let go of him now,” she answered back.
“Enough of all this. Let go of him, Aiden,” I said as he gently dropped him back on the couch.
“Easy,” the man finally spoke out. His voice was calm. “Do you think you can kill me? And you have the guts to attack me?” he said as he bared his fangs, attempting to bite down at him.
“Please, please, spare him,” I begged him. “Sister, please help me.”
“Have mercy,” my sister spoke out. “Don’t kill him. He is my sister’s mate.”
I was surprised he listened to my sister. He threw Ethan across the room effortlessly. Aiden wanted to attack him too, but I held him back.
“What are you guys trying to do?” Roy spoke out. “Like seriously. You are trying to attack an ancient demon that is significantly stronger than your ancestors.”
We were left speechless.
“I’m sorry. I apologize. I’m the cause of all this. I am the lustful one that lusts after his beauty,” I confessed.
“Don’t be. He must have done something to you for you to be able to do that,” Aiden said.
I walked to where Ethan was, still struggling to stand on his feet.
“I am sorry,” I said, apologizing to him and crying.
“Don’t be. I don’t want you to cry. Please stop crying,” he said.
Anna’s POV
I could smell him. He was here, my mate.
I walked toward where the scent was coming from. It was coming from Anne’s apartment.
I heard the powerful growl of Aiden. He was picking a fight with someone. I got scared.
“What if he is picking a fight with my mate? What if he is a human and got killed by him? I will be mateless.”
No, I didn’t want that for myself. I had to save my mate.
I went fast inside, and I was right. That bastard was trying to kill my mate. I was amazed by my mate’s beauty. He was the definition of a god, so beautiful. This was not the time to drool over him. I needed to protect him.
“Stay away from what is mine,” I growled, trying to defend and protect my mate from him. He finally let go of him. I was surprised when I got to know his identity. He was an ancient demon. He stood up from where he was seated and wrapped his hands around my waist before whispering into my ear.
“My little mate,” he grumbled. I shuddered under his touch and voice. “Thank you for defending me with your life.” He blew air into my ear. He knew what he was doing to me.
Damn it, my body yearned for him. My Lycan wolf was screaming to be with him.
‘We want him,’ I thought.
“My name is Aamon. I’m a demon, king of hell,” he introduced himself. “What is your name, beautiful?” he asked.
“My name is Anna. I am a Lycan female,” I introduced myself.
“Anna, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl like you,” he flirted with me.
“You are the most handsome man I have ever met,” I confessed. He smiled before saying, “Anna, would you like to be my queen, my beautiful Anna? And rule beside me in my Kingdom?”
“Yes,” I responded before Aamon tugged me to his chest. He kissed me on my lips, and I responded immediately. His lips were so soft. I began to moan, forgetting about everyone else in the room.
“Please, can you take this inside the room?” Oliver spoke.
“I don’t mind, but this is not where I should claim what is mine,” Aamon said before carrying Anna and disappearing.
“We will be back soon to meet your father,” his voice echoed through the air.
Anna finally met her mate, and her wishes came true. She would be crowned the Queen of Hell.
