Fabian’s unease grew as the day of the plan approached. Crystal had reassured him that everything was in place, but his instincts told him something wasn’t right. He decided to do a final sweep of the details, making sure there were no surprises. However, he couldn’t shake the feeling that Tania wouldn’t go down easily. She was dangerous, more than they had given her credit for, and Crystal…. Was someone he knew not to mess with
The day of the confrontation arrived. Fabian stood outside the meeting spot, his heart pounding in his chest. He had agreed to meet Crystal there, but she was late. Anxiety gnawed at him, but he stayed put, waiting for her to show.
Meanwhile, Ethan was in his office, trying to focus on work. The altercation with Tania played over and over in his mind. He had sent Grace to stay with a friend for the weekend, away from Tania’s madness. Good thing is he already has full custody of Grace, he does not know how they will all come out of this ramble going on but he knew one thing for certain: his children needed to be safe.
As the hours ticked by, Tania’s paranoia reached a fever pitch. She was convinced that everyone was plotting against her Ella, Fabian, even Ethan. She paced the house, muttering to herself, her mind racing with delusions.
Grace, now back from her friend’s house, tiptoed around her mother, trying to stay out of her way. But Tania noticed. “What are you doing?” she snapped.
Grace froze, her heart racing as her mother’s crazed eyes bore into her. “N-nothing, Mommy,” she stammered.
Tania’s lips curled into a sneer. “You think you can get away from me? Just like your father and that witch, Ella?”
Grace didn’t understand what her mother was talking about, but she didn’t want to stay to find out. She turned and bolted out of the room, running to hide in her bedroom.
As the tension built, the pieces were slowly falling into place. But the storm was coming, and no one knew how it would end.
