Big Cat approached the rolling shutter door and knocked twice shortly, followed by a longer knock.
The door slowly opened with a clattering sound, releasing a burst of cold air that made the three people behind Leo, along with the man in the floral shirt, shiver.
Leo, however, seemed unaffected and was the first to walk inside, where many people were already waiting.
Dozens of people stood scattered around the warehouse.
Leo estimated the temperature to be around 4 degrees Celsius. Many of the people inside were shirtless, revealing their tattoos.
As soon as Leo entered, all eyes turned to him.
Leo responded with a bright smile, but no one returned the gesture.
They all moved closer, surrounding Leo.
Big Cat stood in the middle, feeling much more confident with so many underlings around him, no longer as tense as when he first saw Leo’s swift movements.
“Boss, should we teach him a lesson first?” one of the underlings eagerly suggested.
Having been in the cold storage for half a day, he was already freezing and just wanted to warm up by beating someone up.
The others seemed to share the same thought and started clamoring.
If an ordinary person were surrounded by so many tattooed thugs, they would probably have fainted from fear.
But Leo wore a calm smile, contemplating when to make his move. If he resolved this quickly, he might still make it to the dinner at the restaurant.
Although he had eaten a lot of barbecue that day and felt full, he still craved something different and was looking forward to trying something new at the restaurant.
“No need. As long as he stays put, don’t provoke him. Wait for Reginald to arrive,” Big Cat said, sensing something off about Leo’s calm demeanor.
He had become a boss for a reason; he had a knack for reading people.
Someone who could remain so composed among so many thugs was either a fool or extremely confident in their fighting abilities.
Big Cat had encountered only one or two such formidable characters in his career.
Seeing that these people were merely surrounding him without making any further moves, Leo realized they were probably waiting for their real boss to show up.
Leo decided to sit down.
Sitting on the ground made it much colder, and even he had to channel his inner energy to resist the chill.
Before long, the sound of the rolling shutter door echoed again.
The crowd around Leo parted as two people walked in.
Leo recognized one of them-Reginald.
Leo stood up from the ground.
Reginald smiled and said something to him.
Of course, Leo didn’t understand.
The person next to Reginald translated fluently in Atrarian, “Hello, Leo.”
“Damn, you even brought a translator,” Leo admired Reginald’s professionalism in dealing with him.
He glanced at Reginald’s nose and couldn’t help but smile. “How’s your nose?”
This didn’t need translation. Reginald saw Leo’s gaze on his nose and knew what he meant.
His face immediately turned cold.
This insolent guy dared to be so arrogant on his turf.
Reginald said something else.
This time, the translator didn’t speak but looked at Leo with a sympathetic gaze.
Then there was a rush of wind behind him.
Leo’s figure became blurry.
Then came a series of “bang bang bang” sounds.
Reginald could only see Big Cat’s men crashing into the cold storage walls one after another, screaming in pain.
In about ten seconds, Big Cat and all his men were lying on the ground.
Reginald stood there in horror, as if he had seen a ghost in broad daylight.
The translator collapsed to the ground in fear.
Leo appeared ghost-like in front of Reginald and then extended his right index finger to touch Reginald’s forehead.
Reginald’s terrified eyes immediately became cloudy, his mind completely shattered.
Leo didn’t want to kill anyone, so he decided to turn Reginald into an idiot instead. This way, he could never harm anyone again.
Leaving the cold storage, Leo hailed a taxi and showed the driver a text message. The driver took him to the restaurant.
Leo arrived at the restaurant just in time.
During the meal, there was plenty of drinking and socializing. Leo drank quite a bit of alcohol.
After spending another night at Ewha Institute, the four of them headed to the United States for three days.
Three days later, as Leo and his companions were preparing to return home, strong individuals from the Otherworld were approaching the spatial rift connected to Westsea Sanctuary.
As mentioned before, Westsea Sanctuary was actually a time-space passage created by ancient Earth cultivators. One end of the passage was on Earth, while the other end led to the Otherworld where ancient Earth cultivators had gone.
Originally, the spatial gate on the Otherworld side-the spatial rift-was closed but had somehow opened again.
The location of the spatial gate in the Otherworld was a vast and desolate grassland with almost no cultivation resources. Apart from birds and beasts, there were hardly any signs of human activity.
The dark spatial gate hung in the air like an oval-shaped football, continuously sucking in spiritual energy from the vast grassland below.
On this day, a giant tiger with fiery red fur appeared on the grassland.
The tiger seemed injured and was running frantically to escape.
Chasing behind it was an old woman in white.
The old woman’s hair was white, and her wrinkled face looked like it had been carved with a knife. Her expression was icy cold.
She held a white jade cane in her hand, clearly an extraordinary item at first glance.
Watching the fleeing tiger ahead, the old woman shouted sternly, “Inferno Tiger, you can’t escape! Ice Seal!”
She waved her cane at the tiger.
Immediately, everything around the tiger was covered in a layer of ice. The powerful ice element force caused the tiger’s movements to slow down significantly.
Then, the old woman struck with her palm.
A giant hand made of ice suddenly appeared above the tiger and descended with terrifying coldness toward it.
“Old witch, don’t push me too far!” The tiger roared in human speech. Its eyes turned red as flames erupted from its body.
The tiger stopped running and leaped up, enveloped in intense flames and powerful fire element energy.
It intended to use its body to resist the descending ice hand.
Boom!
With a loud crash, the tiger’s massive body collided with the giant ice hand.
After a brief moment of stalemate, the tiger’s huge body fell from the sky, creating a large crater on the grassland below.
Already injured, the tiger’s condition worsened significantly after this blow.
