Elena;
Blue eyes stared back at me, hands grabbing my arms, as a man pulled me towards him.
“Hello, love,” his voice came out in a whisper. Charming, but he was far from it.
His face was not in any way familiar, but I was guessing he must be one of Angelo’s men I didn’t know about or the other guy’s goons.
“Who… who are you? Let me go!” His grip was hard, and he pulled me back.
Walking quickly, he opened a door and pushed me into a room.
“No!” I screamed aloud, trying my hardest to snatch my arms away from him, so I could step back. I couldn’t let him close the door. I didn’t know who he was, and I wasn’t going to risk being in an enclosed space with another man.
His grip on me was strong, compared to my light body, and I knew I didn’t have much of a chance to get out of his grasp.
“I don’t want to do this anymore. Please… just let me go. Please…” I choked out, writhing my body out of his grasp.
“Be quiet!” His deep voice sounded, making me flinch back in fear, and I heard the door slam shut.
“No!!!” I tried to grab a hold of the knob, but he held me impossibly closer, to him.
“You have to be calm. I am here to help you. I am here to help you.” He repeated.
I didn’t realize I was shedding tears, until I felt his fingers graze my chin, wiping a stray tear away.
“You do not have to worry anymore. I’ll get you out of here.” He said.
“What?” I was confused. “Help… help me?” If he was here to help me, then why shove me into a room?
With the thought in mind, my eyes scanned the room, discovering it was indeed the restroom.
The men’s restroom.
My heart began to beat erratically again, as I slowly tried to move away from him.
“Why did you bring me here? Please, just let me go,” I sniffed, shaking my head, “I can’t… I can’t do this, please.”
“You do not have to be scared, my dear. You are safe with me. Trust me, Angelo’s men won’t be able to find you.” His voice was like a caress to my ears. Soothing.
He looked dangerous, yet, I felt the honesty in his voice. His blue eyes shone, as they stared deeply into mine. I wanted to believe him, but I couldn’t.
“Okay….” He observed me for a moment, and then his hands slowly released my arms, “You need to trust me. I am not here to hurt you, okay?”
He released his hold on me completely, his hand raised slightly, “I should introduce myself, first. But you have to stay put. I do not wanna have any reason to take back my words.”
‘Take back his words?’ What does he mean by that?
“Who are you?” I asked, curious to know where he stood. I was sure, he was either team Angelo or team pervert.
He stared at me for a full minute, and then he spoke, softly, “I am Klaus.”
I saw the way his eyes rested on me. Staring deep into my eyes, like he was searching for…. something?
Like he was expecting me to run away, or something of the sort.
“Uhm…. I … I’m not interested in your name. I meant… who are you with?” I asked, holding my breath, as I anticipated his next words.
For some reason, I felt I could trust him. Knowing quite well that he was a stranger, but still, I was hanging on a little thread of hope, that I might be able to escape from Angelo’s clutches.
He chuckled, his shoulders slumping slightly, and he leaned on the door.
But just then, the lights went off, blanketing the entire place in darkness.
“Come on, let’s go,” I felt his hands grab mine, as he led me out of the room.
“Where are you taking me?” My voice was frantic, as I tried to understand what was going on.
‘Why did the lights suddenly go off?’ I wondered. This has never happened before, since I began working here. Unless, of course, it was tampered with.
“Just be quiet, and come along!” He snapped back at me. The hallways were dark and I could not see a damn thing.
Begrudgingly, I let him lead me, and in less than a minute, we were outside the club.
“Over here,” he nudged me, motioning to a black Jeep parked at the side of the road.
I followed his lead, as we headed to the jeep. Two men were standing at the door, holding the door open for us, as we stepped in.
I hadn’t properly sat, when the car suddenly swerved forward, and my heart almost leaped out of my chest.
It began to drive, at a very high speed. And I found myself gazing back at the club.
I scrunched my nostrils, as the smell of weed filled the car. Just as I turned, I caught the gaze of one of the men who sat at the front.
There was something off-putting about him, but just as I began to make sense of the whole ordeal, I felt strong hands on my shoulders, and the stranger–who had brought me into the car, remarked, with a sinister expression on his face.
“I can’t wait for my brother to find out his greatest possession is gone,” he smirked, “Now, wouldn’t that be epic?”
I could barely say a word, when he reached forward, and pressed something on my nose until I couldn’t hold my breath any longer.
******
My head throbbed painfully, as I slowly blinked my eyes open. I was in a room…. kind of.
The room was a little bit dark, with dark curtains placed on every side.
It took me a minute to realize that someone was standing before me, his hands brushing my cheeks softly.
A gasp escaped my lips, as I saw him. I made to move away but discovered I was tied, arms and legs on a stool.
“You tricked me!?”
He chuckled, “Wasn’t my fault you were such a dimwit, love.”
Cold.
I was beginning to feel sorry for myself.
“You are so fucking beautiful,” he caressed my cheeks, and I turned my head to the side.
“It’s a shame it’s all going to be a waste, though.”
His eyes roamed over my body shamelessly, “Or, maybe not.” He remarked, smiling at his own joke.
